Coach Dennis Allen said Wednesday that Hill (chest) didn't practice Wednesday, but the Saints hope that he'll be limited at Thursday's session, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. Hill made an early exit from this past Sunday's win at Dallas due to a chest injury that resulted in him getting further evaluation at a local hospital. He was able to join his teammates for the flight back to New Orleans, and Allen told Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football on Monday that Hill "avoided anything serious." Even so, the team is exercising caution with Hill this week, but his ability to return to drills in the coming days could give him a chance to suit up Sunday against the Eagles.

Hill (chest) avoided a major injury following additional testing at the hospital Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Hill was apparently feeling good Monday and "avoided anything serious," according to head coach Dennis Allen, per Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football. The tight end will go through the rehab process with his chest injury, and there's currently no update on his status for Sunday's Week 3 contest at home versus Philadelphia. More information on Hill's availability will likely come following the team's first practice of the week Wednesday.

Hill (chest) was released from the hospital Sunday night and is believed to have avoided a major injury in a Week 2 win over the Cowboys, but he will undergo further tests Monday, Ed Werder of Channel 8 Dallas reports. Hill was transported to a hospital for evaluation after being forced out of Sunday's 44-19 win at Dallas in the second half, but he was able to travel back to New Orleans on the Saints' charter. An estimated timeline for his return won't be given until after Monday's imaging. If Hill isn't able to play in Week 3 versus the Eagles, there likely isn't anyone on the roster who could fill his versatile role.

Coach Dennis Allen said after Sunday's 44-19 win at Dallas that Hill (chest) went to the hospital to be evaluated further, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. After going to the locker room in the second half, Hill was deemed doubtful to return to Sunday's contest. Allen wouldn't elaborate on Hill's chest issue, aside from calling the visit a precautionary measure. Hill ended Week 2 with three carries for 18 yards and one catch (on one target) for one yard.

Hill didn't have to do much in Week 1 against Carolina, and he only had five carries for 35 yards and caught one pass for 1 yard on two targets. He'll likely do more in a competitive game, which should happen in Week 2 at Dallas. I'm counting on Hill to be a potential starting Fantasy tight end in all leagues for the season, and he's worth adding for up to 15 percent of your remaining FAB.
