  • Gilman (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Gilman missed the Chargers' win over the Raiders in Week 2 due to a knee injury, and he wasn't able to practice in any capacity leading up to the game. It's encouraging to see him back in action in at least a limited capacity heading into a road matchup against the Steelers on Sunday. The starting safety will have two more opportunities to upgrade his practice level before Los Angeles tags him with an official injury designation for the weekend.

  • Gilman (knee) is doubtful for Sunday's matchup against Carolina. Gilman popped up on the injury report earlier this week after playing 58 of the Chargers' 60 snaps and logging four tackles (three solo) in the team's 22-10 win against the Raiders. It now looks like the safety may not see the field at all in the team's Week 2 matchup, but Sunday morning will be the true teller.
