  • Grupe connected on 3 of 3 field goal attempts and his only extra-point try during Sunday's 23-22 defeat against Carolina. Grupe bounced back after missing a field-goal attempt for the first time this season during last week's loss to the Chargers. The second-year kicker hit field goals of 29 and 33 yards in the first quarter before hitting a 51-yarder in the third quarter. This final try was also his first field-goal attempt of 50-plus yards since Week 1 versus Carolina. Grupe has now gone 16-for-17 on field-goal tries and he's made all but two PATs this season. He'll look to be perfect one again during this coming Sunday's home game versus Atlanta.

  • Grupe went 2-for-3 on field-goal attempts during Sunday's 26-8 loss against the Chargers. Grupe missed a field goal for the first time this season, pushing a 44-yard attempt wide right during the fourth quarter. The second-year kicker still made field-goal tries of 40 and 43 yards, and he's now gone 13-for-14 on FGAs while making all but two of his 20 PATs through eight games. Grupe will look to make all of his tries during next week's game at Carolina on Sunday, Nov. 3.

  • Grupe connected on his only field-goal attempt and his only extra-point try during Thursday's 33-10 loss versus Denver. The Saints' offense struggled due to starting quarterback Derek Carr being sidelined for the second week in a row. New Orleans scored 27 points during the second quarter of last week's loss to Tampa Bay, but it's scored just 10 points in seven other quarters over the last two games. Nevertheless, Grupe has converted all 11 of his field-goal tries through seven contests this season, and his only misses have come on two of 20 PATs. Grupe will look to remain perfect from the field when the Saints take on the Chargers on Sunday, Oct. 27.

  • Grupe connected on both field-goal attempts and was 3-for-3 on point-after tries during Sunday's 51-27 defeat versus Tampa Bay. Grupe saw his workload bump back up after attempting just one field goal over the previous two contests. The second-year kicker hit field-goal tries of 42 and 29 yards in the second quarter, and he's now converted all 10 of his FGAs and all but two of his 19 PATs through the first six games of the season. Grupe and the Saints' offense will look to put up another strong outing versus the Broncos on Thursday Night Football in Week 7.

  • Saints' Blake Grupe: Kicker to Sit
    By Jamey Eisenberg

Grupe got off to a great start in Week 1 with 22 Fantasy points behind four made field goals, including two from 50-plus yards, and five PATs. Since then, he's combined for 22 Fantasy points in his past four games with four field goals and nine PATs. He missed two PATs over that span, and the Saints will be without Derek Carr (oblique) this week against the Buccaneers. The offense could struggle, and I would look elsewhere for a starting kicker in Week 6.
