• Giants' Wan'Dale Robinson: Posts minimal production Week 9

  Robinson caught three of four targets for 10 yards in Sunday's loss to Washington. Fantasy managers have grown accustomed to Robinson posting uninspiring yardage totals, but he had been a steady PPR performer in the early part of the campaign with at least eight targets and six catches in five of his first seven games. However, the 2022 second-round draft pick has gotten less attention from QB Daniel Jones over the past two weeks, drawing just five targets against the Steelers in Week 8 followed by Sunday's four targets (which tied a season-low mark) against the Commanders. Robinson's decrease in targets has coincided with rookie tight end Theo Johnson seeing 10 targets over the past two weeks, which may be a sign that Jones is looking to distribute targets move evenly when he's not throwing to top wideout Malik Nabers. If that's the case, Robinson's fantasy outlook will take a hit given his reliance on volume over big plays.

  Robinson has 50 receiving yards or less in three games in a row and has scored 10 PPR points or less in each outing. The volume is there with 25 targets over that span for 16 catches, but he's doing nothing down the field or scoring touchdowns, which makes him difficult to start, even in PPR. Now, he did score a touchdown against Washington in Week 2, but he only had two catches for 18 yards on four targets. Hopefully he can snap out of his recent slump, but I'm nervous to trust Robinson in this matchup with the Commanders.

  Robinson secured all five targets for 30 yards in the Giants' 26-18 loss to the Steelers on Monday night. Robinson finished second in receptions on the night for the Giants, but that led to modest yardage in the receiver's typical short-area role. Robinson has at least five receptions in six straight games, but the fact he's exceeded 50 receiving yards just twice in that span underscores his fantasy viability is largely limited to full-PPR formats.

  Robinson reeled in six of nine targets for 23 yards Sunday in a Week 7 loss to the Eagles. Even with rookie Malik Nabers back from a two-week absence due to a concussion, Robinson continued to be peppered with plenty of looks from QB Daniel Jones, as he led the team in targets. However, Robinson's receptions resulted in just 23 yards, with his long gain of the day going for just six yards. The third-year wideout has been almost exclusively a short-field option for the Giants this season, as he's averaging just 7.0 yards per reception and has just one catch of 20-plus yards. Robinson has at least eight targets and five catches in six of his seven contests this season, giving him a relatively safe floor in PPR formats, though he's much less of an asset in non-PPR given that he's been held to 50 or fewer receiving yards five times on the campaign.

  Robinson (ankle) practiced in full Thursday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports. Meanwhile, rookie WR Malik Nabers reached the final phase of the concussion protocol Thursday and also was a full participant, and Darius Slayton (groin) remained limited for a second day in a row. Robinson thus appears poised to welcome back Nabers for Sunday's game versus the Eagles, while Slayton's status is more up in the air. Ultimately, Friday's injury report will give a sense of who may be Robinson's competition for targets from QB Daniel Jones this weekend.
