It's fun watching Williams have his third-year breakout campaign in front of our eyes. Through two games against the Rams and Buccaneers, Williams has 20 targets for 10 catches, 200 yards and a touchdown, and he's scored at least 14.4 PPR points in each outing. Williams should be considered a solid No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues in Week 3, and he could see a boost in value with Amon-Ra St. Brown (leg) potentially limited if he's less than 100 percent.

Williams (ankle) caught five of 11 targets for 79 yards in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Buccaneers. Williams picked up where he left off after racking up 121 receiving yards and a touchdown last week, catching a 50-yard pass on Detroit's second drive to set up a field goal. After posting no more than seven targets in any game across his first two seasons, Williams has opened 2024 with nine targets in Week 1 and 11 in Week 2, though he was overshadowed by Amon-Ra St. Brown's 19 targets in the loss to Tampa Bay. Williams will continue stretching the field for Detroit with his elite speed in Week 3 against the Cardinals.

Williams (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. Williams took a questionable tag into the weekend after he was a limited participant in all three of the Lions' practices this week due to an ankle injury. The Lions apparently saw enough from Williams in those practices to sign off on his availability for the Week 2 matchup, and with no reports that he'll be facing any restrictions Sunday, he should take on a sizable snap share as one of the Lions' starting receivers. The third-year wideout is coming off a breakthrough Week 1 outing against the Rams in which he produced a 5-121-1 receiving line on nine targets while taking his lone carry for 13 yards.

Williams (ankle), who is listed as questionable, is trending toward playing in Sunday's matchup against the Buccaneers, Jordan Schultz of BleacherReport.com reports. Schultz relays that the speedy wide receiver will be active Sunday, but the team won't officially clear Williams until it releases its inactive list 90 minutes before the 1 p.m. ET kickoff. The third-year wideout is coming off easily one of his best games career in Week 1 (five catches for 121 yards and one touchdown, plus a 13-yard carry) and should be in position to be an offensive factor once more against a Buccaneers secondary that is dealing with a slew of injuries.

I thought Williams would play well in Week 1 against the Rams, but he far exceeded my expectations with five catches for 121 yards and a touchdown on nine targets. He looked like a more polished receiver, which supports all of the positive feedback we heard about him this offseason, and he's poised to break out in his third season. For Week 2, he should stay hot against a depleted Tampa Bay secondary, and I would start Williams as a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues.
