  • Ahead of training camp, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Williams and Isaac TeSlaa are projected as the Lions' starting wide receivers, Christian Boohe of SI.com reports. While St. Brown and Williams will be reprising their key pass-catching roles in 2026, TeSlaa figures to see an uptick in volume in his second pro campaign. Though St. Brown is entrenched as Detroit's clear-cut WR1, Williams will have ample opportunity in his fifth campaign as a pro to make a mark from a fantasy perspective. The 2022 first-rounder is coming off a 2025 regular-season in which he recorded career-highs in catches (65), targets (102) and receiving yards (1,117) en route to notching seven TDs in 17 games.

  • Williams secured six of eight targets for 74 yards in the Lions' 19-16 win over the Bears on Sunday. Williams played second fiddle to Amon-Ra St. Brown -- who finished with an 11-139-0 line on 15 targets -- but the former managed to close out a career-best season with another solid performance. Williams finally evolved into a well-rounded No. 2 receiver during the second half of the campaign, allowing him to finish with new career highs in receptions (65) and receiving yards (1,117) while also tying a career-best figure in receiving touchdowns (seven) across 17 games. Williams should reprise his role in 2026 alongside St. Brown on the heels of back-to-back 1,000-yard campaigns.

  • Williams recorded five receptions (on nine targets) for 70 yards in Sunday's 29-24 loss to the Steelers. Williams tied for second on the team with nine targets, as there was plenty of opportunity for all of Detroit's pass catchers due to Jared Goff taking to the air 54 times. Williams was quiet for much of the game, though he logged a pair of 21-yard receptions and served as the Lions' primary deep threat as they attempted a dramatic comeback late in the fourth quarter. Williams took a slight step back relative to his recent performances, but he has at least 70 receiving yards in six of eight games while also recording five touchdowns since the team's bye in Week 8.

  • Williams caught seven of nine targets for 134 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 41-34 loss to the Rams. Williams continued his recent string of WR1 performances by nearly matching the season-best line of 7-144-1 he produced against the Packers in Week 13. The Alabama product is averaging 95.3 yards per game since Detroit's Week 8 bye, and that includes a zero-catch dud against the Giants. Amon-Ra St. Brown (13-164-2) also feasted against the Rams' secondary, proving that this passing attack can generate two fantasy stars simultaneously. Williams needs just 64 receiving yards against the Steelers next Sunday in order to reach the 1,000-yard plateau in consecutive seasons.

  • Williams secured seven of nine targets for 96 yards in the Lions' 44-30 win over the Cowboys on Thursday night. He also rushed once for seven yards. Despite Amon-Ra St. Brown managing to play through his ankle issue, Williams put together a second straight impressive performance. The speedy fourth-year pro tied with Jahmyr Gibbs for the team lead in receptions and with St. Brown for the same slotting in targets, while setting the pace in receiving yards. Williams has drawn 19 targets over the last two games while recording at least 88 receiving yards in four straight, affording him plenty of momentum heading into a Week 15 road showdown against the Rams on Sunday, Dec. 14.
