The Chiefs signed Bailey to their practice squad Saturday, Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com reports. It was a roller-coaster week for Bailey -- he was waived by Kansas City on Tuesday, signed to the practice squad Wednesday, cut Friday and then re-signed to the practice squad Saturday. The Chiefs also signed defensive lineman Marlon Tuipulotu to their practice squad Saturday while cutting defensive linemen Matt Dickerson and Neil Farrell.

The Chiefs cut Bailey from their practice squad Friday. Bailey was unable to make the Chiefs' 53-man roster, losing out to Carson Steele for the No. 4 running back job. Bailey rushed for 29 yards on 10 carries and caught one pass for four yards across the Chiefs' three preseason games. He was signed to the practice squad Wednesday, but he will be let go to make room for quarterback Bailey Zappe on the practice squad.

The Chiefs signed Bailey to the practice squad Wednesday. Bailey signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent following the 2024 NFL Draft. He had a very productive final year in college at TCU but was beaten out by Carson Steele for a roster spot to begin the season.

Kansas City waived Bailey on Tuesday. Bailey was brought on board as a rookie undrafted free agent back in April, but now he's on his way out. He's perilously small and doesn't have elite speed to compensate, so it will probably be an uphill climb for him to eventually establish himself in the NFL.
