  • Wil Lutz K | DEN

Broncos' Wil Lutz: Extends perfect streak

Lutz made his only field-goal attempt while converting both of his extra-point tries in Saturday's 42-17 loss to the Lions.

Lutz nailed his only field-goal attempt from 23 yards out late in the third quarter of Saturday's loss. The veteran kicker's opportunities were limited on a day that the Broncos struggled to get much going. Lutz has been perfect on kicks since Week 11, boasting an impressive 93 percent success rate on both field goals and extra points in 2023. The 29-year-old will look to be more involved while continuing his perfect streak when the Broncos host the Patriots in Week 16.

  • Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Returns, makes impact

Fairbairn converted four of four field-goal attempts and his lone extra-point kick in Sunday's 19-16 overtime win over the Titans in Week 15.

Fairbairn, who was back on the active roster after missing five games due to a quadricep injury, won the game with a 54-yard field goal as time expired in overtime. He had earlier nailed a 53-yarder and a couple of chip shots to keep Houston within striking distance. The kicking game wavered during the stretch when Matt Ammendola replaced Fairbairn, but it looks like Houston's reliable leg is back and ready. Fairbairn's made 22 of 23 field-goal attempts (five of six from beyond 50) and all 15 extra-point kicks.

  • Browns' Dustin Hopkins: Boots clutch field goal

Hopkins converted two of two field-goal attempts and both extra-point kicks in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Bears in Week 15.

Hopkins calmly drilled a 34-yard field goal with 32 seconds left to complete a comeback victory. The kicker made two field goals as part of Cleveland's 13-point fourth quarter, while the Browns' defense contributed key stops. That combination of defense and reliable kicking are the reason for several wins this season. Hopkins has converted 33 of 36 three-point attempts and 22 of 24 PATs.

  • Cairo Santos K | CHI

Bears' Cairo Santos: Hot streak ends

Santos converted his lone field-goal attempt in the Bears' 20-17 loss to the Browns on Sunday.

Santos had an outstanding streak of four games with at least 10 points, but he only scored five against Cleveland. With upcoming matchups against Arizona and Atlanta, Santos could be in position to finish the season with strong scoring totals.

  • Blake Grupe K | IND

Saints' Blake Grupe: Hits 50-yarder in win

Grupe made his only field goal attempt and all three of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 24-6 win against the Giants.

Grupe converted a 50-yard field goal try to put the Saints up 17-6 late in the third quarter. This marked the rookie's sixth made field goal of 50-plus yards this season, and he's now gone 3-for-6 from this range over the past nine games. Across 14 contests this season, Grupe has converted 25 of 32 field-goal tries while also knocking through all 30 of PATs. He'll look to finish strong over the final three games of the year, starting with this Thursday's matchup versus the Rams.

  • Steelers' Chris Boswell: Struggles in limited action

Boswell made one of two extra-point tries during the Steelers' 30-13 loss to the Colts on Saturday.

Boswell had made all 17 of his extra-point tries heading into Saturday's matchup, but he had a kick hit the right upright following Pittsburgh's first touchdown of the game. Despite his limited action Saturday, he's still been relatively accurate in 2023, making 23 of 25 field-goal attempts while converting 18 of 19 extra-point tries.

  • Giants' Randy Bullock: Exits Sunday with hamstring injury

Bullock headed to the locker room during Sunday's game against the Saints after sustaining a right hamstring injury and is questionable to return, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Per Raanan, the Giants will likely turn to punter Jamie Gillan to handle kicking duties if Bullock can't return to Sunday's contest. Bullock converted a 56-yard field goal to conclude the Giants' opening possession of the game but appeared to tweak his hamstring on the ensuing kickoff.

  • Younghoe Koo K | NYJ

Falcons' Younghoe Koo: Good to go versus Carolina

Koo (illness) is active for Sunday's game against the Panthers.

Koo was a late addition to the Falcons' injury report Saturday after picking up an illness, though the team elected not to add a kicker to the active roster. Koo has connected on 25 of 28 field-goal attempts and 20 of 21 extra-point tries this season.

  • Lions' Riley Patterson: Loses job as kicker

Patterson (coach's decision) is inactive for Saturday's Week 15 contest against the Broncos.

After Patterson missed his second extra-point attempt in three weeks last Sunday in a loss to the Bears, Detroit signed veteran kicker Michael Badgley to the active roster. The team will turn to Badgley against Denver on Saturday night while Patterson will be inactive. It's unclear if the move is permanent -- aside from the two recent extra-point misses, Patterson has been mostly fine this season, going 15-for-17 on field-goal tries and making his previous 35 extra-point attempts.

  • Mike Badgley K | BUF

Lions' Michael Badgley: Swapping in for Patterson

Badgley is active for Saturday's game against the Broncos.

Riley Patterson had served as the Lions' placekicker for the first 13 contests of the season, but he's been usurped by Badgley for Week 15 after the latter was elevated from the practice squad earlier Saturday. Badgley made 12 appearances for Detroit last season, connecting on 20 of 24 field-goal attempts and all 33 point-after tries for a respectable 7.8 points per game.
