  • Panthers' Zane Gonzalez: Another perfect day

Gonzalez made both of his field-goal tries and did not attempt an extra point in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Patriots.

Gonzalez has emerged as a reliable presence for the Panthers lately, converting field goals from 39 and 49 yards Sunday. He'll strive to keep his positive momentum going while facing his former team, the Cardinals, in Week 10.

  • Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Converts three FGAs

Fairbairn was successful on three of three field-goal attempts in Sunday's 17-9 loss to Miami.

Fairbairn's three field-goal attempts and nine points were a season high, which may be attributed to the return of Tyrod Taylor at quarterback. The placekicker entered Sunday's contest with 12 points over the previous five weeks, all games started by rookie quarterback Davis Mills.

  • Jake Elliott K | PHI

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Makes four kicks in loss

Elliott made his only field-goal attempt and all three extra-point tries in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Chargers.

After a blowout win led to a career high in points for Elliott, it was back to reality in Week 9. He has multiple field goals in just three games this season.

  • Browns' Chase McLaughlin: Rings up double-digit points

McLaughlin converted two of three field-goal attempts and five extra-point kicks in Sunday's 41-16 win over the Bengals.

McLaughlin's endured very few scoring opportunities the previous three weeks, scoring just 11 points, but he matched that total in Sunday's win. The game was the best Cleveland's offense looked in weeks. McLaughlin, a journeyman placekicker, has performed well for the Browns, nailing 13 of 15 field-goal attempts and all 23 extra-point kicks.

  • Nick Folk K | ATL

Patriots' Nick Folk: Will play against Carolina

Folk (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Panthers.

Folk was limited in practice throughout the week, but he was always expected to play Sunday and that will indeed be the case. The veteran kicker is having a strong season thus far, converting all but one of his 21 field-goal attempts.

  • Steelers' Chris Boswell: No limitations Friday

Boswell (concussion) was a full practice participant Friday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Boswell suffered the concussion on a fake-field goal attempt during Sunday's win over the Browns, but it appears he won't end up missing any additional time. The 30-year-old is 12-for-13 on field-goal attempts and 12-for-12 on PATs through seven games this season.

  • Nick Folk K | ATL

Patriots' Nick Folk: Questionable but should play

Folk (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers.

Folk's appearance on the injury report has become a customary occurrence, and he has been limited in practice, but there's no reason to suspect he won't power through the injury once again come Sunday. He's enjoying the most accurate season of a career that started back in 2007, having missed just once on 21 field-goal attempts.

  • Steelers' Chris Boswell: Limited at practice Thursday

Boswell (concussion) was limited in Thursday's practice session, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

Boswell sustained a concussion in Sunday's win over the Browns when he took a hard hit on a fake field-goal attempt, but it's encouraging to see him on the practice field Thursday. Coach Mike Tomlin said Thursday that the 30-year-old will serve as the starting kicker Monday against the Bears if he's cleared to play by team doctors, but the team signed Josh Lambo to the practice squad Tuesday to fill in if Boswell is unavailable.

  • Nick Folk K | ATL

Patriots' Nick Folk: Logs limited practice Wednesday

Folk (knee) was listed as a limited participant at the Patriots' practice Wednesday.

Folk has been dealing with an aggravated left knee injury since before the 2021 season began. The kicker has managed to play in every game so far this year even though he's been limited at practice leading up to multiple games. The 36-year-old should be able to suit up Sunday barring any major setbacks.

  • Joey Slye K | TEN

    Joey Slye: Waived by 49ers

Slye was waived by the 49ers on Tuesday, Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

The kicker was let go Tuesday after starting the last three games for San Francisco. The move was made because Robbie Gould (groin) is expected to be activated this week. Slye went 7-for-8 on field goals for the team and 2-for-4 on PATs, but will now be claimed by another team, added to San Francisco's practice squad or released.
