The Oakland Raiders made their final cuts before Saturday's deadline. The team parted ways with WR Greg Little, RB George Atkinson, DE Denico Autry, CB Chance Casey, OL Jack Cornell, DE Jack Crawford, LB Carlos Fields, LB Bojay Filimoeatu, LB Spencer Hadley, OL Danny Kistler, OL Erle Ladson, DT Ricky Lumpkin, OL Lamar Mady, TE Jake Murphy, WR Seth Roberts, DE Ryan Robinson, S Brandian Ross, OL Jarrod Shaw, TE Scott Simonson, RB Jeremy Stewart, K Giorgio Tavecchio and FB Karl Williams.

The Buccaneers made a slew of moves Saturday to pare their roster down to the required 53 for the regular season.

Tampa Bay cut the following players: DB Marc Anthony, LB Nate Askew, OL Edawn Coughman, CB Kip Edwards, DE T.J. Fatinikun, CB Anthony Gaitor, LB Ka'Lial Glaud, CB Keith Lewis, OL Jamon Meredith, OL Andrew Miller, FB Lonnie Pryor, OL Jeremiah Warren, K Connor Barth, DE Larry English, RB Jeff Demps, QB Mike Kafka and SS Major Wright.

The Saints have knocked their roster down to 53 by waiving a number of players Saturday.

Among the offense players let go are center Matt Armstrong, wide receivers Seantavius Jones , Brandon Coleman and Charles Hawkins, tight end Nic Jacobs, guards Jason Weaver and Marcel Jones, tackles Tavon Rooks and Thomas Welch and running backs Greg Jones and Derrick Strozier.

The defenders cut loose are cornerbacks Trevin Wade, Terrence Frederick and Derrius Brooks, linebackers Keyunta Dawson and Todd Davis, tackle Lawrence Virgil, safety Pierre Warren.

Placekickers Shayne Graham and Derek Dimke are also out.

The Lions have announced all their cuts in getting their roster down to 53.

The offensive players released are fullback Chad Abram, quarterback James Franklin, linemen Michael Williams, Garrett Reynolds and Darren Keyton, wide receiver Kris Durham, running backs George Winn and Michael Egnew.

The defenders gone are cornerbacks Chris Greenwood, Mohammed Seisay, Nate Ness, Aaron Hester and Jonte Green, end Darryl Tapp and linebacker Shamari Benton.

Placekicker Giorgio Tavecchio and punter Drew Butler have also been cut.

The Buccaneers have cut placekicker Connor Barth.

Barth, who lost last season to an Achilles injury, served as the No. 1 placekicker on the team from 2008 to 2012. He has nailed 101 of 120 field goal attempts in his career.

The Texans have waived rookie placekicker Chris Boswell. He had been competing with Randy Bullock for the starting spot.

Boswell made both attempts in exhibition play.

Veteran kickers Garrett Hartley, Jay Feely and Rian Lindell all worked out for the Titans, reports the Tennessean.

The Raiders have claimed kicker Giorgio Tavecchio off waivers from the Lions, the team announced Tuesday, while waiving kicker Kevin Goessling.

The Broncos waived kicker Mitch Ewald and seem prepared to move forward with kicker Brandon McManus while Matt Prater serves his four-game suspension. In seven career preseason games, McManus is 3 for 3 on field goals, all the kicks coming from 46 yards or longer.

Denver acquired McManus from the Giants for a conditional seventh-round pick.

With kicker Matt Prater suspended for the first four games, the Broncos acquired Giants kicker Brandon McManus before he was scheduled to be waived Tuesday, reports Pro Football Talk. McManus will compete with Mitch Ewald to replace Prater.
