Lamar Jackson QB | BAL
Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Practicing Friday
Jackson (back) is participating at Friday's practice, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Jackson sat out practice the past two days while managing back soreness, so it's a good sign to see him back on the field, even if he only ends up working as a limited participant. It's unclear whether the 24-year-old will end up with an injury designation for Sunday's matchup with the Broncos, though he at least appears to be trending in the right direction.

Trevor Lawrence QB | JAC
Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Turnover-free effort in close loss
Lawrence completed 17 of 24 passes for 204 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in the Jaguars' 24-21 loss to the Bengals on Thursday night. He also rushed eight times for 36 yards and a touchdown.
Lawrence lost his duel with fellow first overall pick Joe Burrow, albeit by a much tighter margin than many projected coming in. This year's top selection was particularly impressive during the first half, when he led the Jaguars to a surprising 14-0 lead. Lawrence often zeroed in on the sure-handed and versatile Laviska Shenault, whom he connected with on a team-high six occasions for 99 yards, and he persevered despite losing DJ Chark to a fractured ankle in the first half. While Lawrence and the Jaguars offense fell mostly flat as a whole in the second half, the fact that this was the rookie's first turnover-free performance was certainly a step in the right direction. Lawrence will look to carry over the positive momentum into a Week 5 divisional home battle against the Titans a week from Sunday.

Joe Burrow QB | CIN
Bengals' Joe Burrow: Stellar showing in close win
Burrow completed 25 of 32 passes for 348 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Bengals' 24-21 win over the Jaguars on Thursday night. He also rushed three times for four yards.
Burrow led the Bengals' second-half charge after Cincinnati surprisingly found itself down 14-0 at halftime. The 2020 first overall pick outdueled this year's top selection Trevor Lawrence over the final two quarters, with a pair of touchdown passes to C.J. Uzomah and numerous key completions to Tyler Boyd and Ja'Marr Chase critical to the hosts outscoring Jacksonville by a 24-7 margin over the final 30 minutes. Burrow ultimately finished the second half with a 152.1 passer rating and capped off his performance by helming a 10-play, 73-yard march that culminated in Evan McPherson's game-winning field goal. Burrow and the Bengals will savor the win for the moment and then will start preparing to host the Packers in a Week 5 showdown a week from Sunday.

Jake Luton QB | LV
Jake Luton: Lands on practice squad
Luton cleared waivers Thursday and signed with the Seahawks' practice squad, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Luton started three games for the Jaguars last season and completed 55 percent of his passes for 624 yards (5.7 YPA), two touchdowns and six interceptions. The 2020 sixth-round pick has a big arm and will look to fine-tune his skills while on the same practice field as Russell Wilson.

Justin Herbert QB | LAC
Chargers' Justin Herbert: Not on injury report
Herbert is not listed on the Chargers' Week 4 injury report.
Herbert had his throwing hand wrapped and iced before he left Arrowhead Stadium in the wake of the Chargers' 30-24 win over Kansas City in Week 3. At the time, the issue was downplayed, and his absence from Thursday's injury report puts him firmly in line to start Monday night's home game against the 3-0 Raiders.

Justin Fields QB | KC
Bears' Justin Fields: Another full practice
Fields (thumb) logged a second consecutive full practice Thursday.
Fields dinged his right thumb during his first NFL start this past Sunday in Cleveland, but X-rays were returned negative. The issue hasn't impacted his ability to practice this week, while Andy Dalton has remained a limited participant due to a bone bruise in his left knee. Coach Matt Nagy has noted Dalton will be the Bears' starting quarterback if he's healthy enough to play, but a decision has yet to be made for Sunday's matchup with the Lions.

Andy Dalton QB | PHI
Bears' Andy Dalton: Remains limited Thursday
Dalton (knee) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday.
For a second straight session, Dalton continued to operate with a cap on his reps, while Justin Fields (right thumb) remained a full participant. The Bears have yet to name a starting quarterback for Week 4 against the Lions, which may mean coach Matt Nagy is waiting to see if Dalton will jump to full at Friday's practice. If the status quo holds, though, Dalton may yield another start to Fields.

Lamar Jackson QB | BAL
Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Logs another missed practice
Jackson (back) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Jackson is dealing with what Zrebiec describes as back soreness, with Josina Anderson of USA Today relaying that the Ravens view the injury as a "low-level concern." Anderson adds that the team would have more concern about Jackson's availability for Sunday's game in Denver if the quarterback is unable to practice again Friday, so he'll ideally return to the field for the final session of the week as a limited participant, at the very least.

Lamar Jackson QB | BAL
Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Back flares up
Offensive coordinator Greg Roman relayed Thursday that Jackson is dealing with a back flare-up and should be fine, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
That said, Roman noted that the team is in "wait-and-see" mode in terms of the QB practicing Thursday. With that in mind, we'll circle back on Jackson's status once the Ravens re-take the field, but for now at least, his availability for Sunday's game against the Broncos does not appear to be in any danger.

Sam Ehlinger QB | DEN
Colts' Sam Ehlinger: Returns to practice
The Colts designated Ehlinger (knee) to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports.
Ehlinger participated in practice Wednesday for the first time since injuring his knee in the Colts' preseason finale. The quarterback is eligible to return from IR as soon as this weekend's game against the Dolphins, but the Colts will have a full 21-day window to evaluate Ehlinger for an addition to the 53-man roster. Assuming Ehlinger isn't activated prior to Sunday's contest, Brett Hundley is in line to serve as Carson Wentz's backup.
