Russell Wilson QB | NYG
Seahawks' Russell Wilson: Magnificent effort to beat Rams
Wilson completed 17 of 23 passes for 268 yards and four touchdowns in Thursday's 30-29 win over the Rams. He also ran eight times for 32 yards.
After the Seahawks' first two drives, it looked like it would be a long night for Wilson, as he was constantly on the run from a stout Rams' defensive front. However, he made adjustments, and on the third drive he rolled out to his left, patiently waited for his moment and lofted a pass where only Tyler Lockett could catch it for the game's first touchdown. Wilson ended up throwing three more scores, including a game-winner to Chris Carson with 2:28 remaining in regulation. He finished the contest with a season-high 11.7 yards per attempt, and this was the fourth time in five games he completed over 70 percent of his passes. Wilson will look to continue his efficiency in Week 6 versus the Browns.

Jared Goff QB | DET
Rams' Jared Goff: Another massive yardage tally
Goff completed 29 of 49 passes for 395 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the Rams' 30-29 loss to the Seahawks on Thursday. He also gained a yard on his only rush.
For the second time in four days, Goff's right arm put in plenty of overtime. The fourth-year quarterback now has 117 pass attempts in the last pair of contests following Thursday's hefty workload, once again largely necessitated by the stumbles of the Rams' defense. Goff connected with seven different pass catchers on the night and showed outstanding chemistry with tight end Gerald Everett, who racked up a game-high 136 yards. Goff also had to endure the early exit of Brandin Cooks, who left the game for good in the second half to be evaluated for a concussion. Ultimately, Goff put the Rams in position for a narrow win by spearheading a 10-play, 67-yard drive that set Greg Zuerlein up for a would-be game-winning 44-yard field goal that went wide right with 11 seconds remaining. In the wake of back-to-back crushing losses, Goff and his teammates will look to regroup ahead of a Week 6 divisional clash versus the 49ers a week from Sunday.

Josh Allen QB | BUF
Bills' Josh Allen: Remains limited in practice
Allen (concussion) was listed as a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.
The participation level represents no change to Allen's listing from Wednesday, indicating that he hasn't advanced to the fifth and final stage of the concussion protocol. According to Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com, Allen was mostly limited to throwing drills during Thursday's session, and coach Sean McDermott was unwilling to shed much light on the quarterback's potential to play Sunday in Tennessee. In the event Allen doesn't gain clearance to suit up, Matt Barkley would step in to start for the Bills, while Davis Webb would likely be promoted from the practice squad to serve as the team's second-string quarterback.

Sam Darnold QB | SEA
Jets' Sam Darnold: Still limited, tests coming Friday
Darnold (illness) remained limited at practice Thursday, Ralph Vacchiano of SportsNet New York reports.
Per Rich Cimini of ESPN.com, Darnold felt good after taking first-team reps and hopes to gain clearance to play Sunday against the Eagles. To that end, the quarterback is slated to take "final medical tests" Friday, which entails a sonogram as well as a blood test. The results of the tests will be the determining factor with regard to Darnold's Week 5 status. If he does play, Cimini relays that the signal caller has been fitted for a special pad to protect his spleen.

Gardner Minshew QB | ARI
Jaguars' Gardner Minshew: Another limited practice
Minshew (knee) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
The Jaguars have capped the rookie's reps for both of their first two practices of the week while he continues to manage the knee injury he picked up on the final drive of Jacksonville's thrilling victory over the Broncos on Sunday. Minshew may be subject to some more restrictions again Friday, but unless the Jaguars add another quarterback to roster prior to Saturday's deadline, he should receive the green light to start in the team's Week 5 game in Carolina.

Colt McCoy QB | ARI
Redskins' Colt McCoy: Gets some first-team work
McCoy and Case Keenum (foot) both took reps under center during the portion of Thursday's practice that was available to the media, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Keim's report seemingly rules out rookie Dwayne Haskins from getting the starting nod Week 5 against the Patriots, though coach Jay Gruden declined to name either McCoy or Keenum as the team's top option. Keenum ditched the walking boot on his right foot but was still listed as a limited participant in Thursday's session, which may have resulted in McCoy taking the lead in most of the tea's drills. More clarity on the Redskins' quarterback plans for this weekend should come after Friday's practice.

Case Keenum QB | CHI
Redskins' Case Keenum: In contention for Week 5 start
Coach Jay Gruden said he won't make a decision on the Redskins' Week 5 starting quarterback until Friday, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Gruden seems to be contemplating Keenum and Colt McCoy -- and not rookie Dwayne Haskins -- as he wants to see how both veterans react to Thursday's practice. Speaking of that session, Keenum got out of his walking boot and put in a limited showing, per Craig Hoffman of 106-7 The Fan Washington. As for McCoy, he has yet to be active this season due to his lengthy recovery from a fractured fibula.

Case Keenum QB | CHI
Redskins' Case Keenum: Practicing Thursday
Keenum (foot) returned to practice Thursday, JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington reports.
Ditching his walking boot, Keenum took part in individual drills during the portion of the session open to the media, according to Finlay. Last week, Keenum did the very same thing, being tabbed as a "full" participant both Thursday and Friday. Assuming he repeats the feat this time around, it'll be interesting to see if coach Jay Gruden names Keenum the starting quarterback for Sunday's game against the Patriots. Keenum's competitors for the job are Colt McCoy and rookie Dwayne Haskins.

Josh Allen QB | BUF
Bills' Josh Allen: Practicing again
Allen (concussion) is participating in practice for the second straight day Thursday, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.
We have to assume he's participating to the level the league's concussion protocol allows, though Allen working with his teammates does suggest he remains on schedule with the protocol. Typically, players have to pass each of the stages with no delays in order to play the following week. We'll have a much better read on Allen's ability to play in Sunday's game against the Titans as Friday and Saturday roll around. If he has a setback or the team decides to go the safe route, Matt Barkley would get the start against Tennessee, while the Bills have a bye in Week 6.

Taryn Christion QB | DAL
Taryn Christion: Inks practice-squad deal
Christion signed with the Steelers' practice squad Wednesday.
The Steelers aren't worried about their current starter, Mason Rudolph, but they may be losing sleep about facing Lamar Jackson on Sunday. According to Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, coach Mike Tomlin wanted a quarterback who could mimic Jackson, and Christion fits the mold, as he ran a 4.49 second 40 at his pro day at South Dakota State.
