  • Andy Dalton QB | PHI

Bengals' Andy Dalton: Benched in blowout loss

Dalton completed 11 of 22 passes for 113 yards and two interceptions without a touchdown or rushing attempt in Sunday's 34-7 loss to the Vikings.

Dalton was deservedly benched for AJ McCarron with Cincinnati trailing 34-0 in the fourth quarter. The Red Rifle's first interception was taken to the house by Minnesota's defense, and it's fair to question Dalton's job security after consecutive efforts under 150 passing yards.

  • Brandon Allen QB | NYG

Rams' Brandon Allen: Won't play Week 15

Allen (back) is listed as inactive for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, Myles Simmons of the Rams' official site reports.

Allen was listed as doubtful so this isn't surprising. He was likely to be inactive as the team's No. 3 quarterback regardless of his injury. Sean Mannion will again serve as Jared Goff's backup Sunday.

  • Tom Savage QB | DET

Texans' Tom Savage: Likely done for 2017

Savage (concussion), who is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, isn't expected to play again this season, Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports.

Though Savage has indicated that he's feeling better after suffering the head injury in a scary scene during the Texans' Week 14 loss to the 49ers and has a chance to pass all phases of the protocol before the final two games of the season, Houston seemingly has little to gain by having the quarterback suit up. The Texans drew criticism for the way they responded to Savage suffering the concussion last week, as he was briefly allowed to return to the contest before being pulled after throwing two incomplete passes. Since the NFL and NFLPA is continuing to review the Texans' handling of the matter and Savage is scheduled to become a free agent this offseason, the team will likely just allow the quarterback to recuperate and proceed with T.J. Yates as its new starting signal caller.

  • Lions' Matthew Stafford: Breezes past Bears

Stafford completed 25 of 33 passes for 237 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 20-10 victory over the Bears. He also lost a fumble while rushing once for minus-1 yard.

Stafford appears to be operating at full health, as Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reported that Stafford didn't tape up his bruised throwing hand Saturday and won't need to moving forward. Even with this recent injury, Stafford currently boasts an 80.2 percent completion rate over his past three games. He was passing at a 62.5 percent clip in the 11 games prior. While he only completed two of 10 passes that traveled over 10 yards Saturday, Stafford excelled in the short-to-intermediate areas of the field and finished with an 86.9 completion rate on passes that traveled 10 yards or under. For those who think this increased efficiency is unlikely to persist through the season's final two games, consider this: in Week 16, he'll be playing against a Bengals team that could be without both of its regulars at cornerback and possibly its entire linebacking corps. Then, in Week 17, Stafford hosts a Packers secondary that recently lost its top draft pick, cornerback Kevin King (shoulder), to injured reserve, and could be without their other starter at the position, Davon House (shoulder), as well. Even with those two healthy for most of the season, Green Bay still ranks 29th in quarterback-rating allowed (98.2).

  • Mitch Trubisky QB | TEN

Bears' Mitchell Trubisky: Picked off three times in Week 15

Trubisky completed 31 of 46 passes for 314 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions in Saturday's loss to the Lions.

Trubisky's numbers were inflated due to the Bears falling behind 20-3 early in the second half, leading to the quarterback throwing on almost every down after that time. He had some success moving the ball against a prevent defense, but other than a screen pass to Benny Cunningham that resulted in a touchdown, he threw two of his interceptions in the red zone, and often struggled to read basic coverages. Although he's thrown for at least 271 yards in each of his last two games, he's yet to throw more than a single touchdown pass in any contest this season, and his greatest value is in dynasty leagues.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Cleared to return Sunday

Rodgers (collarbone), who was activated from injured reserve Saturday, doesn't have a designation for Sunday's game in Carolina.

Although the Packers tacked Rodgers onto the injury report Saturday, the lack of a designation is the final bit of information needed to pencil him in as the starting quarterback Sunday. In four career appearances against the Panthers, he's averaged 307.5 passing yards per game and posted a 12:2 TD:INT.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Packers' Aaron Rodgers: Joins active roster Saturday

Rodgers (collarbone) was added to the 53-man roster Saturday, paving the way for him to start Sunday's game at Carolina, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

On Tuesday, Rodgers relayed in a post on his personal Instagram account that he received medical clearance from the team's medical staff to return when first eligible. The development was weeks in the making, as he was seen throwing up to 50 yards before the Packers' Week 12 loss in Pittsburgh and was designated for return Dec. 2. According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com, Rodgers will have a designation on the injury report, but there isn't much doubt about his ability to play Sunday.

  • Brandon Allen QB | NYG

Rams' Brandon Allen: Doubtful for Week 15

Allen is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the Seahawks with a back injury, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Allen was added to the injury report Thursday and sat out Friday's practice with the injury. The second-year quarterback is unlikely to be active Sunday regardless of his health while Jared Goff and Sean Mannion remain the top two options on the depth chart.

  • Marcus Mariota QB | WAS

Titans' Marcus Mariota: Practices fully throughout week

Mariota was a full participant in all of the Titans' practices this week, suggesting the minor right knee sprain he sustained last week isn't a concern heading into Sunday's game against the 49ers.

According to Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com, Mariota could require a clean-up procedure on his ankle on the same right leg during the offseason, but it appears the lower-body issues won't impact his availability for the rest of the campaign. That being said, Mariota's propensity for getting banged up seems to be taking a toll on him this season, as he's thrown a career-high 14 interceptions, while his 10 touchdown passes are well behind the 26 he tossed in 15 games in 2016. Mariota has made up for the lack of passing efficiency to some degree with five touchdowns on the ground, but with his turnover problems worsening in recent weeks, it will be difficult to trust him during the fantasy playoffs. He at least draws a favorable matchup in Week 15 against a 49ers defense that ranks 25th in the NFL in yards per game allowed.

  • Paxton Lynch QB | PIT

Broncos' Paxton Lynch: Expected back in Week 16

Broncos head coach Vance Joseph said he expects Lynch (ankle) to receive full clearance to play in advance of the team's next game Dec. 24 against the Redskins, Troy Renck of Denver 7 News reports.

If Joseph's prediction holds true, Lynch could warrant immediate consideration for the starting quarterback role, which opened up again after Trevor Siemian partially dislocated his left shoulder in Thursday's win over the Colts. That injury will sideline Siemian for the Broncos' final two games of the season, leaving Brock Osweiler, who relieved Siemian on Thursday, and Lynch as the team's only quarterbacks. Per Zac Stevens of BSNDenver.com, Joseph wasn't willing to commit to Osweiler as the team's starter in Week 16, so it appears the performance of both of the Broncos' quarterbacks in practice during the upcoming week will ultimately dictate who receives the nod against the Redskins. Given Lynch's standing as a recent first-round pick, he could have an edge over Osweiler for the starting role if his health checks out fine by the end of next week.
