  • Russell Wilson QB | NYG

Russell Wilson takes step back in Week 14

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, who threw for three touchdowns his last time out, took a step back in Sunday's loss to the 49ers in Week 14.

Wilson hooked up with Luke Willson for a 39-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter. He was picked off by Eric Wright with nine second remaining to give San Francisco the win. He completed 15 of 25 passes for 199 yards, with one touchdown and one interception. He also rushed for 2 yards on one carry in a 19-17 victory.

WIlson has been held under 200 passing yards four times this season. He will look to get back on track in New York against the Giants in Week 15. The Giants surrendered three touchdown passes to Philip Rivers in Week 14.

  • Charlie Whitehurst does little in garbage time

Chargers quarterback Charlie Whitehurst took over for Philip Rivers in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s win over the Giants in Week 14. With the game in hand, Whitehurst saw some extended time under center but did not have a pass attempt. He did, however, have three carries for minus-2 yards in a 37-14 victory.

  • Geno Smith QB | NYJ

Geno Smith ends offensive slump with two-TD performance

Jets quarterback Geno Smith put an end to his offensive slump Week 14, leading New York to a 37-27 win against the Raiders. Smith completed 16 of 25 passes for 219 yards, one touchdown and one interception, while rushing for another 50 yards and one touchdown.

Smith came into Sunday's game without a touchdown pass in five straight games and was looking to bounce back after being benched last week against the Dolphins. Smith didn't get off to a much better start Sunday. He led New York on a field-goal drive to open the game, but he missed Kellen Winslow on a 23-yard touchdown pass because of a bad throw. He then threw an interception on the team's second drive, which came one play after Oakland dropped an interception.

But Smith turned his luck around on the next drive, hitting Jeremy Kerley for a 25-yard touchdown. Smith then added an 8-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter. Out of shotgun formation, Smith executed a perfect read-option, ripping the football out of the belly of his running back at the last second and rushing left untouched into the end zone for the score.

Perhaps one of Smith's biggest plays in the second half came on a 3rd-and-5 with 10:01 remaining. Smith scrambled 32 yards to the Oakland 20-yard line to keep the driving alive. Two plays later, Chris Ivory had a 15-yard touchdown run.

The Jets are back in action Week 15 at Carolina.

  • Matthew Stafford struggles in snow as Lions lose

You can't hit what you can't see - and Lions quarterack Matthew Stafford had trouble seeing his receivers through the blizzard Sunday at Philadelphia. He also had problems hanging on to the ball with five fumbles, including one lost.

Stafford had not thrown for fewer than 219 yards in any game this season, but managed just 148 in the loss to the Eagles. He was also blanked in the touchdown department for the first time in 2013.

He actually worsened when the heavy snowfall dissipated in the second half, but he complained following the game that the field conditions made passing more difficult. He was just 4 of 13 for 61 yards after intermission.

Stafford and his Lions will host Baltimore on Monday Night Football in Week 15.

  • Andy Dalton QB | PHI

Andy Dalton has four touchdowns in Week 14

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton comlpeted 24-of-35 passes for 275 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 42-28 victory over the Colts. Dalton also ran five times (including two kneels at the end of the game) for 11 yards and a touchdown.

Dalton has passed for three touchdowns twice in his last three games. Sunday marked the second time he's scored more than three touchdowns in a game this season, and the fifth time in eight games that he's passed for at least three.

The Bengals face the Steelers in Week 15. Dalton passed for 280 yards and a touchdown when the teams played in Week 2.

  • Ryan Tannehill QB | TEN

Ryan Tannehill tosses three scores in road win

Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill had another strong performance Sunday against the Steelers, in leading the way in a 34-28 win on the road.

Tannehill braved snowy conditions for the first time in his career, and did not seem adversely effected. He finished the game with multiple touchdowns for the second week in a row, as he tossed three scores. Two of them went Charles Clay's way including a game-winning 12-yarder with less than three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

Tannehill completed 20 of 33 passes for 201 yards to go with his three scores, though he was picked off once. He added 48 yards on three rushes, matching a season-high. Tannehill has now completed at least 60 percent of his passes in six straight games, with nine touchdowns and five interceptions in that span.

Tannehill enters Week 15 against the Patriots with 3,316 passing yards, 20 touchdowns and 14 interceptions on the season.

  • Matt McGloin QB | KC

Matt McGloin throws for two TDs in Week 14 loss

Raiders quarterback Matt McGloin had his second career multi-passing touchdown game Week 14 at N.Y. Jets, but Oakland still lost to New York, 37-27. McGloin completed 18 of 31 passes for 245 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, while rushing for 20 yards on two carries.

McGloin played most of the game, but did sit out for one series in the first half so the Raiders could get Terrelle Pryor some work. On McGloin's first series back, he threw an interception deep in Oakland's own territory, which New York returned to the Raiders' 4-yard line.

Both of McGloin's touchdowns came in the second half. He had an 48-yard touchdown pass to Rod Streater in the third quarter. McGloin threaded a pass between two defenders, and Streater took care of the rest. McGloin then had a 1-yard touchdown pass to Mychal Rivera late in the fourth quarter on a 4th-and-goal play.

McGloin's best chance for a three-touchdown game came on a 22-yard pass into the end zone in the fourth quarter. However, his pass intended for Jacoby Ford was badly underthrown, resulting in an incomplete pass.

The Raiders are back in action Week 15 vs. Kansas City.
