Hurts (concussion) wasn't spotted during the media-access portion of Thursday's practice, Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia report.

After leaving early in Philadelphia's Week 16 loss at Washington with a concussion, Hurts was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate. On Thursday, head coach Nick Sirianni confirmed that the quarterback remained in the concussion protocol, according to Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer. While Hurts looks set to be listed as a non-participant for the second straight day, fellow quarterback Kenny Pickett mixed into drills Thursday, albeit with some extra padding around his midsection to protect his rib issue, according to Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal. Aside from Hurts and Pickett, Philadelphia employs signal-callers Tanner McKee on the active roster and Ian Book on the practice squad.

The Falcons signed Jones to the practice squad Thursday, Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports.

Jones had been without a team for most of the 2024 season after failing to make the Ravens' 53-man roster at the conclusion of training camp. McElhaney relays that Jones was added to the Falcons' practice squad to emulate Jayden Daniels on the scout team ahead of Atlanta's game against Washington on Sunday.

Philadelphia signed Book to the practice squad Thursday.

Book spent most of 2024 without a team after failing to make the Chiefs' 53-man roster at the end of training camp. Book's addition to the Eagles' practice squad provides insurance at the quarterback position as starter Jalen Hurts (concussion) and backup Kenny Pickett (ribs) are both dealing with injuries, leaving Tanner McKee as the only healthy QB on the 53-man roster. Book could be elevated to the active roster for Sunday's game against the Cowboys if one or both of Hurts or Pickett were inactive. Book has appeared in just one game at the NFL level since being selected by the Saints in the fourth round of the 2021 draft.

Richardson (back/foot) didn't participate in practice Thursday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Richardson was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, so his absence from Thursday's session is notable as Sunday's game against the Giants approaches. If the QB is unavailable this weekend, Joe Flacco presumably would start in Richardson's place, backed up Sam Ehlinger.

Browns offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey noted Thursday that the team is preparing as if Thompson-Robinson (calf) will start Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Thompson-Robinson was estimated as a limited participant on Wednesday's practice report, but at this stage he's trending toward a second straight start this weekend. Dorsey also noted the team still is in the process of determining whether Jameis Winston (shoulder) will be the No. 2 or No. 3 QB versus Miami, assuming Thompson-Robinson starts, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Wilson completed 23 of 37 passes for 205 yards and an interception in a 29-10 loss to Kansas City on Wednesday. He added 55 rushing yards and a touchdown on six carries.

The veteran quarterback's one pick was costly, as it came in the end zone late in the first quarter as the Steelers tried to drive for their first points of the day. Wilson produced a one-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, but the Kansas City pass rush otherwise made his life miserable and sacked him five times. Wilson has failed to reach 220 passing yards in four straight games and has committed three turnovers against three touchdowns passes in the last three contests. Even with the Ravens having won Wednesday, the Steelers will still have a chance to claim the AFC North title if they can beat the Bengals -- and get some help -- in Week 18.

Stroud completed 17 of 31 pass attempts for 185 yards, no touchdowns and one interception while adding seven rushing yards on his only attempt in Wednesday's 31-2 loss to the Ravens.

Stroud never seemed to settle in at any point during the Week 17 contest, missing a handful of short passes to open receivers that doomed several offensive drives. The sophomore quarterback was forced to miss one play at the end of the first half after losing feeling in his throwing arm following a sack, and while he returned to action for the next play, he wasn't able to get much going the rest of the game. The Texans have already locked up first place in a weak AFC South division, but Stroud and most of the team's key offensive starters are likely to play at least a couple drives in Week 18 against the Titans as the team looks to establish some momentum heading into the playoffs.

Jackson completed 10 of 15 passes for 168 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions and rushed four times for 87 yards and another score in Wednesday's 31-2 win over the Texans.

Jackson's contributions through the air were modest thanks to Derrick Henry and the defense doing the heavy lifting. However, Jackson made the most of his sparse opportunities as a passer, connecting with Isaiah Likely (nine yards) and Mark Andrews (one yard) for his pair of touchdown passes and also recording a 48-yard rushing score. In the process, Jackson became the NFL's all-time leader in career rushing yards for a quarterback (6,110). Jackson and the offense appear to be peaking at the right time, considering Henry's production on the ground the last two games and Jackson's elite 27:2 TD:INT since Week 7.

Burrow (wrist/knee) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday.

Cincinnati has listed Burrow as limited on five straight injury reports, but he'll most likely approach Saturday's game against the Broncos without an injury designation. Wideout Tee Higgins (ankle/knee) was also listed as limited Tuesday and Wednesday, but could be cleared for Week 17 action along with Burrow when the Bengals release their final injury report of the week Thursday.

Thompson-Robinson (calf) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Fellow quarterback Jameis Winston (shoulder) -- who was the Browns' emergency No. 3 quarterback for this past weekend's loss to the Bengals -- was also a limited participant. The status of both signal-callers is thus worth monitoring as Sunday's game against the Dolphins approaches, though Thompson-Robinson is expected to start if he's able to move past the calf issue.
