  • Drew Lock QB | SEA

Giants' Drew Lock: Getting another start

Giants head coach Brian Daboll said Lock (shoulder) is on track to start Sunday's game against the Colts, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Lock sat out the Giants' Week 15 loss to the Ravens with sore heel and a left elbow injury, but he was cleared to start in this past Sunday's 34-7 loss to the Falcons. He committed three turnovers (two interceptions and one lost fumble) and completed just 22 of 39 pass attempts for 210 yards and one touchdown. Lock hurt his right shoulder in the contest and required an MRI, though imaging apparently revealing nothing too concerning, putting him on track to make a second straight start this weekend, though the shoulder issue could still affect his practice participation.

  • Tanner McKee QB | PHI

Eagles' Tanner McKee: Next man up after Hurts, Pickett

McKee is currently the Eagles' healthiest quarterback after starter Jalen Hurts (concussion) and top backup Kenny Pickett (ribs) suffered injuries in Sunday's 36-33 loss to the Commanders. "Tanner has done a good job in scout team and developmental periods, and so, again, Tanner gives us a lot of confidence," head coach Nick Sirianni said during his press conference Monday, when asked about his comfort with McKee in the event he's needed to play in Week 17 against the Cowboys.

A 2023 sixth-round pick, McKee is in his second season in the Philadelphia organization but is still waiting to make his NFL debut. He's been inactive all season as the emergency No. 3 quarterback, but he could move up one or two rungs pending the statuses of Hurts and Pickett. Per Zach Berman of The Athletic, Hurts remains in the NFL's five-step concussion protocol, while the team didn't have an update on Pickett, who underwent an X-ray on his ribs after taking a hard hit in the fourth quarter Sunday. McKee last saw competition action in the preseason, when he completed 34 of 56 pass attempts (60.7 percent) for 294 yards (5.3 YPA), zero touchdowns and one interception over three games.

  • Aaron Rodgers QB | PIT

Jets' Aaron Rodgers: Iffy for Week 17 with knee injury

Interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich said Tuesday that Rodgers sustained a knee injury in Sunday's 19-9 loss to the Rams, and the veteran quarterback's status for the Jets' Week 17 game in Buffalo is uncertain, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Ulbrich added that he's betting on Rodgers playing this Sunday, but the Jets likely won't have a clearer idea about the 41-year-old's availability until assessing his condition in practices Wednesday through Friday. With the 4-11 Jets eliminated from playoff contention and Rodgers' standing in the organization uncertain heading into next season, it wouldn't be surprising if he ultimately ended up missing the team's final two contests. Tyrod Taylor has served as the backup quarterback all season and would be in line to start Sunday if Rodgers is unable to move past the knee issue.

  • Saints' Spencer Rattler: Pedestrian numbers in loss

Rattler completed 15 of 30 passes for 153 yards with no touchdowns and one interception and added five rushes for 28 yards in the Saints' 34-0 loss to the Packers on Monday night. He also lost a fumble.

Rattler unsurprisingly struggled in the frigid temperatures of Lambeau Field, but he hung tough while taking three sacks overall. He did give up the ball on one of those takedowns and did so in Packers territory, but the miscue didn't lead to any points for Green Bay. Rattler's other turnover on the night, a late third-quarter interception, likewise was followed by a Packers punt, but it had more opportunity cost associated with it considering it came at the Packers' two-yard line. While Rattler couldn't lead New Orleans to any points, there's seemingly no incentive for interim head coach Darren Rizzi to short-circuit the rookie fifth-round pick's valuable opportunity for reps over the final two games -- especially with a favorable home matchup against the Raiders coming up Week 17 -- even if Derek Carr (hand) is deemed ready to play.

  • Jordan Love QB | GB

Packers' Jordan Love: Falls victim to game script

Love completed 16 of 28 pass attempts for 182 yards and a touchdown while taking his only carry for two yards in Monday's 34-0 rout of the Saints.

Love kicked off the scoring for the Packers with a short touchdown pass to Dontayvion Wicks on the game's opening drive. The 26-year-old Love wasn't utilized much for the remainder of the contest with Green Bay's ground game hitting pay dirt thrice in the blowout victory. Love was eventually replaced by backup Malik Willis with a little less than six minutes left in the fourth quarter in order to preserve the starter's health ahead of Sunday's road tilt against Minnesota.

  • Jalen Hurts QB | PHI

Eagles' Jalen Hurts: In concussion protocol

In addition to Hurts being in the NFL's concussion protocol, backup Kenny Pickett is dealing with a rib injury, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.

Hurts sustained his concussion during Sunday's game against the Commanders, and with Pickett banged-up as well, the status of both signal-callers is worth monitoring closely ahead of this weekend's game against the Cowboys. For now, the Eagles' healthiest option at the QB position is Tanner McKee.

  • Browns' Dorian Thompson-Robinson: Dealing with calf injury

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that Thompson-Robinson sustained a calf injury during Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Bengals, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Stefanski said that Thompson-Robinson, who threw two interceptions and no touchdowns in the loss, will start Week 17 against the Dolphins if he's healthy, per Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site. Jameis Winston (shoulder) was inactive for the Week 16 contest due to a shoulder injury, leaving Cleveland potentially in a position to lean on Bailey Zappe versus Miami on Sunday if Thompson-Robinson's injury prevents him from playing.

  • Drew Lock QB | SEA

Giants' Drew Lock: Getting MRI on shoulder

Lock is undergoing an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of a shoulder injury he sustained during Sunday's 34-7 loss to the Falcons, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Lock turned in a disastrous performance Sunday, completing just 22 of 39 passes for 210 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions, both of which were pick-sixes. A two-yard connection with Tyrone Tracy in the end zone gave Lock his first touchdown pass of the 2024 campaign, but he wasn't able to emerge from the blowout loss at full health. Coach Brian Daboll said the Giants haven't yet made a decision at quarterback for Week 17 against the Colts, per Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record, but it's conceivable the team turns back to Tommy DeVito under center even if Lock's shoulder issue doesn't prove to be significant.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Says he'll be fine

Allen said during a postgame interview Sunday that his arm, which was bothering him for much of the second half, is fine after he suffered a right elbow contusion in a win over the Patriots, Alec White of the Bills' official site reports.

Allen said that the way his elbow got hit caused him to lose feeling in his arm and throwing hand. "Just hit the funny bone nerve and went to throw the ball and just had no feeling in the hand. It took a good five to 10 minutes, so just making sure, trying to get some blood flow back in there, some activation." Allen never missed a play, and even though it may have looked worse than it really was with the quarterback constantly shaking his hand, he seemed to have avoided a serious injury. The bigger question for Allen's fantasy investors the rest of the way might be his usage, as the Bills could be locked into the No. 2 seed in the AFC in fairly short order, leaving them with little to play for against weak opponents in the Jets and Patriots.

  • Drake Maye QB | NE

Patriots' Drake Maye: Shows promise in loss

Maye completed 22 of 36 passes for 261 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 24-21 loss to the Bills.

Maye got the New England offense rolling early by completing a well-placed 28-yard touchdown pass to Kayshon Boutte on the team's first drive. He went on to complete three additional passes that went for at least 20 yards -- matching his best mark of the season -- while also throwing multiple touchdowns in a game for the first time since Week 11. There were plenty of positives to take away from the performance, but Maye was responsible for two turnovers, one of which came on a failed lateral to Rhamondre Stevenson that was recovered in the end zone by Buffalo for a touchdown.
