Spencer Rattler QB | NO
Saints' Spencer Rattler: Healthy scratch Sunday
Rattler (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game in Carolina.
After starting three contests in place of Derek Carr (oblique), Rattler will relinquish control of the offense to the former, while Jake Haener will serve as the backup quarterback. Rattler will only see action Week 9 if both Carr and Haener leave the contest due to injury.

Jeff Driskel QB | WAS
Commanders' Jeff Driskel: Serving as emergency No. 3 QB again
Driskel (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 9 matchup versus the Giants but will be available as Washington's emergency third quarterback, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports.
It will be the third straight week that Driskel serves as Washington's emergency No. 3 QB. The veteran signal-caller can enter Sunday's contest against New York only if Jayden Daniels and Marcus Mariota are ruled out due to injury, illness or ejection.

Zach Wilson QB | MIA
Broncos' Zach Wilson: Emergency QB again
Wilson (coach's decision) will serve as Denver's emergency third quarterback for Sunday's game in Baltimore, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.
Wilson regularly serves as the Broncos' emergency quarterback, while Jarrett Stidham backs up Bo Nix under center on the active roster. The former first-round pick has not seen the field this season for Denver.

Jacoby Brissett QB | ARI
Patriots' Jacoby Brissett: In line to back up Maye
Brissett will serve as a backup in Sunday's game against the Titans to Drake Maye, who will start after clearing concussion protocol, Evan Lazar of the team's official site reports.
Brissett replaced Maye in the first half of last Sunday's 25-22 win over the Jets after the rookie signal-caller was forced out of the contest after taking a helmet-to-helmet hit that landed him in the protocol. With Maye having been cleared for Week 9 action, Brissett is slated to reprise his usual duties as the No. 2 quarterback.

Mason Rudolph QB | PIT
Titans' Mason Rudolph: Drawing third straight start
Rudolph is set to start Sunday against New England with Will Levis (shoulder) inactive, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Rudolph will lead the Tennessee offense for the third straight game as Levis continues to recover from an AC joint sprain. He's struggled overall, recording three total touchdowns as opposed to four turnovers. Those did come in tough matchups on the road against the Bills and Lions, so Rudolph may see slightly improved results in his first home start against the Patriots.

Tommy DeVito QB | NE
Giants' Tommy DeVito: Emergency QB versus Washington
DeVito (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Commanders but will serve as the emergency third quarterback, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
DeVito won't count against the gameday roster limit, but he'll be eligible to enter the game if Daniel Jones and Drew Lock suffer injuries.

Will Levis QB | TEN
Titans' Will Levis: Sitting for third straight
Levis (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Patriots, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Levis will be inactive for the third straight game while recovering from an AC joint sprain. Positively, he was able to practice in limited fashion all week and was spotted warming up prior to Sunday's game against New England. That suggests Levis may be in line for a Week 10 return against the Chargers. As for Week 9, Mason Rudolph will draw his third consecutive start.

Will Levis QB | TEN
Titans' Will Levis: Expected to miss another game
Levis (shoulder), who is officially questionable, is likely to sit out Sunday's Week 9 battle against the Patriots, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Though Levis managed to log a trio of limited practices this week, it appears he'll sit out a third straight game while recovering from an AC joint sprain in his right shoulder. Titans offensive coordinator Nick Holz confirmed earlier this week that Levis will be the team's starter once he's ready to take the field again, and that could happen as soon as next Sunday versus the Chargers. With Levis expected to miss Week 9, Mason Rudolph is in line to make another start, while Trevor Siemian was elevated from the practice squad Saturday to serve as Rudolph's backup.
-
Mason Rudolph QB | PIT
Titans' Mason Rudolph: Likely starting again Sunday
Rudolph is expected to start Sunday's Week 9 matchup against New England due to Will Levis (shoulder) being likely to miss another game, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Levis continues to recover from the AC joint sprain in his shoulder that he suffered in Week 4. As such, Rudolph appears set to start under center for the third straight game. Though he's averaged 240.5 passing yards while filling in for Levis over the past two weeks, Rudolph has a poor 2:3 TD:INT during that span, and he'll likely give way to Levis once the latter is ready to return.

Trevor Siemian QB | TEN
Titans' Trevor Siemian: Elevated for Week 9
The Titans elevated Siemian from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Siemian will give the Titans some insurance at quarterback as Will Levis (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots. If Levis cannot play, Siemian would serve as the backup quarterback behind Mason Rudolph.
