Trevor Lawrence QB | JAC
Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Comes up short in Week 18
Lawrence completed 29 of 43 passes for 280 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 28-20 loss to the Titans. He added three rushes for 10 yards.
Lawrence returned from a one-game absence caused by a shoulder injury and had both good and bad moments in the must-win game. He connected with Calvin Ridley for a 59-yard touchdown early in the second quarter, giving the Jaguars a rare lead during the game. Lawrence's next score didn't come until early in the fourth quarter on a 14-yard toss to Evan Engram. In between, he threw a pair of picks, one which led to a touchdown for the Titans. While he's been forced to play through several injuries this season, Sunday's performance was an illustration of Lawrence's entire year, as he threw 21 touchdowns but also tossed 14 interceptions and lost seven fumbles. With the loss, the Jaguars missed the postseason, a disappointing end to Lawrence's third campaign in the league.

Derek Carr QB | NO
Saints' Derek Carr: Stellar numbers in Week 18 win
Carr completed 22 of 28 passes for 264 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions in the Saints' 48-17 win over the Falcons on Sunday. He also rushed once for six yards and committed a fumble recovered by New Orleans.
Carr saved what may have been his sharpest all-around performance his first Saints season for last, tossing a season-high four touchdown passes while completing a season-best 78.5 percent of his throws in the process. The veteran signal-caller's touchdowns went to A.T. Perry (18, six yards), Chris Olave (26 yards) and Rashid Shaheed (39 yards), and he'll wrap up the regular season with a sparkling 14:2 TD:INT over his last five contests. The Saints need both the Packers and the Seahawks to lose their respective late-window games Sunday in order to still qualify for the postseason.

Baker Mayfield QB | TB
Buccaneers' Baker Mayfield: Quiet in division-clinching win
Mayfield completed 20 of 32 passes for 137 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions and rushed five times for seven yards in the Buccaneers' 9-0 win over the Panthers on Sunday.
Mayfield averaged only 4.3 yards per attempt while carrying out a game plan that was unsurprisingly conservative against an opponent seemingly incapable of pressing the Buccaneers offensively. The veteran signal-caller gutted out what appeared to be a lower-body injury that occurred on a first-half sack, leading the Buccaneers to the NFC South title while eclipsing the 4,000-yard mark for the first time in his career (4,044). Mayfield and the Buccaneers will now await confirmation of their opponent for a home NFC Wild Card Game next weekend.

Jacob Eason QB | GB
Giants' Jacob Eason: Serving as QB3 on Sunday
Eason (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Eagles, but will serve as the team's emergency quarterback, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Eason was signed to the Giants' active roster Saturday after joining the team's practice squad Thursday. He'll be padded up for New York's regular-season finale and will only see the field if Tyrod Taylor and Tommy DeVito sustain injuries.

Matthew Stafford QB | LAR
Rams' Matthew Stafford: On Week 18 inactive list
Stafford (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.
Head coach Sean McVay had already revealed at the beginning of Week 18 prep that Stafford would be held out for rest purposes in the regular-season finale, but the Rams still opted to list the veteran signal-caller as doubtful on their final injury report. As anticipated, Stafford is inactive for the contest, allowing Carson Wentz to make his first start with the Rams while practice-squad call-up Dresser Winn serves as his backup. Stafford will return to action in the wild-card round, when the Rams play a road game against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.

Jacoby Brissett QB | ARI
Commanders' Jacoby Brissett: Healthy inactive for Week 18
Brissett (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
After a hamstring injury prevented him from making his first start of the season in the Commanders' Week 17 loss to the 49ers, Brissett looked as though he would be ready to suit up for the regular-season finale versus Dallas, albeit in the backup role he's handled throughout the campaign. Despite closing the week with a pair of full practices and avoiding a designation for Sunday's contest, Brissett will end up on the inactive list for the second week in a row. Jake Fromm will suit up as the No. 2 quarterback behind Sam Howell, while Brissett's time in Washington could be over. He's scheduled for free agency this offseason after he completed 18 of 23 pass attempts for 224 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions across his three relief appearances in 2023.

Brock Purdy QB | SF
49ers' Brock Purdy: Downgraded to out for Week 18
The 49ers list Purdy as out for Sunday's game against the Rams in a coach's decision, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
With the 49ers having already clinched the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs, head coach Kyle Shanahan said Wednesday that Purdy wouldn't play in Week 18 while nothing was at stake in the regular-season finale. Despite Shanahan's declaration, Purdy didn't head into the weekend with a designation, but the 49ers have since officially ruled him out ahead of Sunday's 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff. Sam Darnold will draw the start in Purdy's stead, while Brandon Allen will serve as his backup. Purdy will return to action in the divisional round of the playoffs on Jan. 20 or 21 and will conclude the regular season with a 69.4 percent completion rate for 4,280 yards, 31 touchdowns and 11 interceptions to go with 144 rushing yards and two scores on 39 carries over his 16 starts.

Patrick Mahomes QB | KC
Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Officially out for Week 18
Mahomes (ankle) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Chargers in a "coaching decision."
The Chiefs officially listed Mahomes as doubtful for the regular-season finale upon the release of Friday's injury report, which came after Andy Reid said earlier in the week that the star quarterback would be rested in Week 18. Though Mahomes was listed with an ankle injury, the Chiefs' latest update indicates that the two-time NFL MVP isn't dealing with a health concern. Kansas City is locked in as the No. 3 seed in the AFC playoffs, so it comes as little surprise that Mahomes won't suit up Sunday. Blaine Gabbert will make his first start of the season Week 18, while practice-squad call-up Chris Oladokun serves as his backup. Mahomes will return to action in the wild-card round of the playoffs against a yet-to-be-determined opponent.

Hendon Hooker QB | TEN
Lions' Hendon Hooker: Emergency option
Hooker (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Vikings, but will be available as an emergency option at quarterback.
Hooker will only see the field if both Jared Goff and Teddy Bridgewater sustain injuries. He has not played in any game this season.
