Taysom Hill QB | NO
Saints' Taysom Hill: Practicing Wednesday
Hill (foot/hand) took part in Wednesday's practice, Brooke Kirchhofer of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Hill didn't practice last week before being inactive this past Sunday against the Panthers, so his ability to log some on-field work to start Week 15 prep generally is a good sign that he has a chance to return Sunday versus the Giants. He also was spotted without a non-contact red jersey while working with Saints quarterbacks. Wednesday's injury report will reveal whether Hill was a limited or full participant.

C.J. Stroud QB | HOU
Texans' C.J. Stroud: Not practicing Wednesday
Stroud (concussion) wasn't spotted at practice Wednesday, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN.com reports.
Stroud, who remains in the NFL's concussion protocol, has two more opportunities to log practice reps ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans. If Stroud is unable to gain clearance for Week 15 action, Davis Mills would be in line to start at quarterback for the Texans.

Nick Mullens QB | JAC
Vikings' Nick Mullens: Named starter for Week 15
Head coach Kevin O'Connell announced Tuesday that Mullens will serve as the Vikings' starting quarterback Saturday in Cincinnati, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports.
Mullens will become the Vikings' fourth different starting quarterback of the season after he came on in relief of a struggling Joshua Dobbs in this past Sunday's 3-0 win over the Raiders. After throwing four interceptions in a 12-10 loss to the Bears in Week 12 prior to the Vikings' bye, Dobbs played turnover-free football Sunday but completed just 10 of 23 passes for 63 yards before being benched in the fourth quarter. Mullens then proceeded to complete nine of 13 passes for 83 yards while directing the Vikings' only scoring drive of the day. Though he will draw his first NFL start since 2021 this Saturday, Mullens possesses ample experience, having made 25 appearances (17 starts) over his seven-year career. He also has plenty of familiarity with O'Connell's system, having been with Minnesota as a backup to Kirk Cousins (Achilles) since the start of the 2022 season.

Joshua Dobbs QB | NE
Vikings' Joshua Dobbs: Loses hold of starting gig
Dobbs will move into a backup role for Saturday's game against the Bengals with the Vikings naming Nick Mullens their Week 15 starting quarterback.
Dobbs' standing atop the depth chart was already on shaky ground after a four-interception performance against the Bears, and he was unable to rebound following the Vikings' Week 13 bye. He completed just 10 of 23 pass attempts for 63 yards and carried five times for 21 yards in this past Sunday's 3-0 win over the Raiders before getting benched in the fourth quarter. Mullens directed Minnesota's only scoring drive of the game and will now be rewarded with his first start as a member of the Vikings. The team hasn't announced whether Dobbs or rookie Jaren Hall will serve as Mullens' backup.

Max Duggan QB | LAC
Chargers' Max Duggan: Joins Bolts' roster
Duggan signed with the Chargers' 53-man roster Tuesday.
Duggan will move up the team's depth chart at quarterback with Justin Herbert (finger) placed on injured reserve Tuesday. His move to the active roster should cement him as the team's No. 2 man on the depth chart behind Easton Stick, who will now take over the starting job in Herbert's absence.

Malik Cunningham QB | DET
Ravens' Malik Cunningham: Nabbed by Baltimore
The Ravens will sign Cunningham off the Patriots' practice squad Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
In Baltimore, the undrafted rookie will reunite with Lamar Jackson, a college teammate of his at Louisville during the 2017 season. Though not nearly as adept as Jackson as a passer or runner, Cunningham still possesses a dual-threat skill set that should allow the Ravens to keep their usual game plan in place if Jackson is to miss time at any point. Cunningham will initially slot behind Jackson and two other dual-threat signal-callers in Tyler Huntley and Josh Johnson on the depth chart, though it wouldn't be surprising if the Ravens waived the 37-year-old Johnson in the near future to allow Cunningham to move up to third in the pecking order.

Justin Herbert QB | LAC
Chargers' Justin Herbert: Moves to IR, out for season
The Chargers announced that Herbert will undergo surgery Tuesday to repair a fracture to his right index finger and has been placed on injured reserve.
Confirming what Tom Pelissero of NFL Network and others reported minutes earlier, Herbert will miss the rest of the season after having surgery to address the injury he suffered in the second quarter of this past Sunday's 24-7 loss to the Broncos. Herbert should be back to full health by the start of OTAs in the spring, but he'll wrap up his fourth season in Los Angeles with a 65.1 percent completion rate for 3,134 yards, 20 touchdowns and seven interceptions to go with 52 carries for 228 yards and three more scores over his 13 appearances. Easton Stick will take over as the Chargers' starting quarterback beginning with Thursday's game in Las Vegas. Max Duggan, a 2023 seventh-round pick out of TCU, is likely to be promoted from the practice squad to back up Stick.

Easton Stick QB | ATL
Chargers' Easton Stick: Taking over as starting quarterback
Stick will step in as the Chargers' starting quarterback beginning Thursday against the Raiders with Justin Herbert (finger) set to undergo season-ending surgery Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Stick played his first snaps of the season Sunday after Herbert fractured his right index finger late in the second quarter. Though he's in his fifth season with the Chargers, Stick has been limited to just two career appearances while Herbert, and Philip Rivers before him, have been paragons of durability. Stick has completed just 14 of 25 pass attempts for 183 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions over his 38 career regular-season snaps, making him somewhat of an unknown commodity heading into the final four games of the regular season. During a larger sample of action in three games this past preseason, Stick completed 44 of 73 passes (60.2 percent) for a paltry 5.2 yards per attempt and a 1:2 TD:INT, though he did show some running ability (11 carries for 82 yards).

Justin Herbert QB | LAC
Chargers' Justin Herbert: Requires season-ending surgery
Herbert will undergo surgery Tuesday on his fractured right index finger and is expected to miss the remainder of the season, sources tell Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
The Chargers haven't officially confirmed that Herbert will be shut down for the season, but head coach Brandon Staley will most likely address the quarterback's status later Tuesday. In Herbert's upcoming absence, fifth-year signal-caller Easton Stick is slated to make his first NFL start Thursday versus the Raiders. Herbert finishes his fourth NFL season having completed 297 of 456 pass attempts (65.1 percent) for 3,134 yards, 20 touchdowns and seven interceptions to go with 228 yards and three scores on 52 carries over 13 appearances. He'll likely make a full recovery from surgery in advance of OTAs in the spring.

Tommy DeVito QB | NE
Giants' Tommy DeVito: Helps key Week 14 comeback
DeVito completed 17 of 21 passes for 158 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions while rushing 10 times for 71 yards in the Giants' 24-22 win over the Packers on Monday.
DeVito was nearly perfect through the air and turned in a stellar rushing performance, finishing just 15 yards shy of Saquon Barkley's team-leading total. The rookie signal-caller connected with six different targets overall and keyed a game-winning drive during which he completed all four pass attempts for 53 yards, including a 32-yarder to Wan'Dale Robinson that took the Giants into field-goal range. DeVito now has a 5:0 TD:INT over his last three starts, completing 72.2 percent of his passes during that span as well. The Illinois product next sets his sights on a Week 15 road matchup against the Saints.
