  • Mac Jones QB | SF

Patriots' Mac Jones: Poor numbers again Sunday

Jones completed 24 of 33 passes for 200 yards with an interception in Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Raiders. He also lost one yard on his only carry.

The third-year quarterback also got sacked for a safety late in the fourth quarter, ending any chance the Patriots might have had of putting together a comeback. Jones has now failed to throw a TD pass in three straight games while getting picked off five times over that stretch, and the only thing keeping him in the starting role might be the lack of a viable alternative on the roster -- undrafted rookie Malik Cunningham, who spent part of the offseason program getting reps as a wide receiver, dressed as the No. 2 QB on Sunday. Regardless of who's under center for the Pats in Week 7, they'll face a tough opponent in the Bills.

  • Brian Hoyer QB | LV

Raiders' Brian Hoyer: Takes over for injured starter

Hoyer stepped in for injured starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (back) against the Patriots on Sunday, completing six of 10 pass attempts for 102 yards with no touchdowns or turnovers in the 21-17 win.

Garoppolo went down awkwardly after a pass attempt late in the second quarter favoring his back. The oft-injured quarterback did not return after halftime, leaving Hoyer to finish off the narrow victory over New England. The severity of Garoppolo's injury likely will be revealed in the coming days after the quarterback was taken to a local hospital to have his back examined. Hoyer could remain the No. 2 option even if the Raiders' starter can't suit up for the team's next game, as was the case Week 4 when rookie Aidan O'Connell was elevated from the practice squad to start over the veteran. Both Hoyer and O'Connell would be risky fantasy plays should either be asked to start against Chicago in Week 7.

  • Geno Smith QB | NYJ

Seahawks' Geno Smith: Two turnovers in loss

Smith completed 27 of 41 passes for 323 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 17-13 loss to the Bengals. He added four rushes for 20 yards.

Smith attempted exactly 41 passes for the second time this season. He averaged a solid 7.9 yards per attempt, and five of his completions went for more than 20 yards. However, his day was defined by two interceptions that changed the outcome of the game and prevented him from recording a touchdown for the first time this season. Lack of scores has become a trend for Smith, as despite throwing for over 295 yards in three of his five games, he has only five touchdowns on the campaign.

  • Zach Wilson QB | NO

Jets' Zach Wilson: Manages team to win over Philly

Wilson completed 19 of 33 passes for 186 yards without a touchdown or turnover in Sunday's 20-14 win over the Eagles. He added four rushes for 15 yards and threw a two-point conversion.

Wilson came up short of 200 passing yards for the fifth time in six games, but he led New York to a second consecutive victory by avoiding costly turnovers while Jalen Hurts threw three interceptions. Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) was seen throwing a football and walking without crutches, but his return likely remains months away, and Wilson is locked in as the Jets' starter in Rodgers' absence. Wilson will try for a third consecutive win in Week 8 against the Giants after a Week 7 bye.

  • Jalen Hurts QB | PHI

Eagles' Jalen Hurts: Turnovers lead to first loss

Hurts completed 28 of 45 pass attempts for 280 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions while rushing eight times for 47 yards and a score in Sunday's 20-14 loss to the Jets.

Hurts' three interceptions matched his previous career-worst mark, resulting in Philadelphia's first loss of the season. The 25-year-old nearly threw a fourth pick on the Eagles' final comeback attempt, but the ball was simply dropped by the defender and resulted in a turnover on downs instead. Despite the turnovers, the athletic QB still helped fantasy managers by combining for over 300 yards from scrimmage while recording his fourth game with a passing and rushing touchdown this year. Hurts remains a top fantasy option as the Eagles prepare for a potential shootout against the Dolphins next Sunday.

  • Rams' Matthew Stafford: Connects with Kupp for lone TD

Stafford completed 15 of 24 passes for 226 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 26-9 victory against the Cardinals. He also rushed once for two yards.

An efficient day behind the helm of the Rams' passing attack could've been a lot more rewarding for the veteran if not for a pair of dropped touchdown passes by rookie phenom Puka Nacua and veteran tight end Tyler Higbee. While both of those drives ended in field goals, Stafford did renew his touchdown connection with Cooper Kupp in the third quarter with a 13-yard toss that Kupp managed to fall down into the end zone with. Stafford also had no turnovers for the third straight game, a streak that he'll look to extend against the Steelers in Week 7.

  • Joshua Dobbs QB | NE

Cardinals' Joshua Dobbs: Accuracy struggles in Week 6 loss

Dobbs completed 21 of 41 passes for 235 yards with no touchdowns and one interception and rushed seven times for 47 yards in the Cardinals' 26-9 loss to the Rams on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.

After completing at least 67.7 percent of his passes in each of the first five games of the season, Dobbs struggled with accuracy for the second straight contest following his season-low 46.9 percent completion rate in Week 5 against the Bengals, and he saw his two-game multi-touchdown streak snapped in the process. On the brighter side, Dobbs did complete passes to eight different players and paced the Cardinals on the ground with his fourth tally of more than 40 rushing yards in the last five games. The journeyman signal-caller draws a more palatable matchup in a Week 7 road divisional clash versus the Seahawks.

  • Bears' Justin Fields: Dislocates thumb in Week 6

Fields was diagnosed with a dislocated thumb on his throwing hand after he exited Sunday's 19-13 loss to the Vikings, Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reports.

Fields popped his thumb back in after suffering the injury in the third quarter, but he was unable to grip the ball and had to exit the game. X-rays on his hand returned negative, but an MRI on Monday should reveal the severity of Fields' injury and establish a potential return timeline. If Fields isn't available for the Bears' Week 7 game against the Raiders and beyond, Tyson Bagent would likely be in line for his first NFL start. After entering in relief of Fields on Sunday, Bagent recorded a rushing touchdown but threw an interception and lost a fumble.

  • Taysom Hill QB | NO

Saints' Taysom Hill: Catches seven passes in loss

Hill caught seven of eight targets for 49 yards during Sunday's 20-13 loss to Houston. He also rushed once for four yards and completed his lone passing attempt for two yards.

Hill logged his most productive receiving stat line of the season after totaling just four receptions (on six targets) for 16 yards coming into Sunday's loss. The swiss-army-knife tight end also served as a primary piece of New Orleans' receiving game, tying with running back Alvin Kamara and wideout Michael Thomas for the team's second-most targets behind Chris Olave (10). This was likely due in part to the absence of No. 1 tight end Juwan Johnson, who missed his third game in a row due to a calf injury. Fellow tight end Foster Moreau also logged season highs in receptions (four) and targets (four), so Hill's receiving production was likely due largely to the uncharacteristically high 50 passing attempts from quarterback Derek Carr. Expect Hill to continue playing a versatile role as a receiver, rusher and/or passer during a Week 7 contest against Jacksonville on Thursday Night Football.

  • Tyson Bagent QB | CHI

Bears' Tyson Bagent: Serviceable in emergency duty

Bagent took over for an injured Justin Fields (hand) with 8:07 remaining in the third quarter of the Bears' 19-13 loss to the Vikings on Sunday, completing 10 of 14 passes for 83 yards with no touchdowns and one interception and rushing twice for four yards and a touchdown. He also committed a fumble that was returned for a score.

Bagent's final numbers were certainly acceptable considering his status as an undrafted rookie seeing his first regular-season action. However, his fumble, which came on the second play of his professional career, would end up being the difference in the game, as it was returned 42 yards for a touchdown by Jordan Hicks. Bagent would later bring the Bears to within six points with his one-yard rushing score midway through the fourth quarter, but Chicago wouldn't find the end zone again. The X-rays performed on Fields' injured hand were negative, but if the MRI the quarterback is scheduled for Monday reveals a more serious injury, Bagent could be called on to start in a Week 7 home matchup against the Raiders.
