  • Colts' Anthony Richardson: Good to go Sunday

Coach Shane Steichen relayed Friday that Richardson has cleared the NFL's concussion protocol and will start Sunday's game against the Rams, JJ Stankevitz of the Colts' official site reports.

Richardson has been practicing fully this week, and now that the QB has gained medical clearance, he'll return to action after missing his team's Week 3 win over the Ravens. As a result, Gardner Minshew will return to backup duties, while the No. 4 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft will look to lead to the 2-1 Colts to a third straight victory this weekend.

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Browns' Deshaun Watson: Questionable for Sunday's game

The Browns list Watson (shoulder) as questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Watson, who was a limited participant at practices Wednesday and Thursday, did some light throwing Friday but had his reps capped for the third day in a row, per Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram. Head coach Kevin Stefanski previously said that he's hopeful Watson will be available this weekend, despite the fact that the signal-caller is carrying an injury designation into the weekend. Fortunately for those considering Watson in Week 4 fantasy lineups, the Browns kick off at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, leaving fantasy managers with options to pivot to in the event Watson is inactive. If Watson is ruled out or available only in a backup capacity versus Baltimore, Dorian Thompson-Robinson would draw his first NFL start.

  • Jared Goff QB | DET

Lions' Jared Goff: Modest output against Packers

Goff completed 19 of 28 passes for 210 yards with one touchdown and one interception during Thursday's 34-20 win over Green Bay.

After getting picked off on the third play of the game, Goff rebounded with a quick touchdown drive thanks to a number of big pass plays. Detroit never looked back thereafter, though Goff didn't do much else besides escort David Montgomery up and down the field en route to a three-touchdown performance for the running back. This makes for a third underwhelming fantasy performance in four weeks for Goff, which may not be the production many expected from him after he ended the 2022 campaign with zero picks and five multi-score outings over the final seven weeks. He'll look to rebound in Week 5 as the Lions enter a matchup with Carolina team that will remain without starting cornerback Jaycee Horn (hamstring).

  • Jordan Love QB | GB

Packers' Jordan Love: Mixed bag in Week 4 loss

Love completed 23 of 36 passes for 246 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions and added two rushes for minus-2 yards and another score in the Packers' 34-20 loss to the Lions on Thursday night. He also committed a fumble that was recovered by Green Bay and threw a two-point conversion pass.

Love endured a rough night overall despite the solid passing yardage total, as he took five sacks in addition to throwing multiple interceptions for the second time in his career, with the first occasion also having come against Detroit back in Week 18 of the 2021 campaign. Love's first pick early in the second quarter came at Green Bay's 27-yard line and led to a David Montgomery two-yard touchdown two plays later, while the second unfolded at Detroit's four-yard line with 4:15 remaining and the Packers down by 17. Love had the benefit of Christian Watson as a pass-catching option for the first time this season, but Romeo Doubs remained his favorite target by far with a team-high 13 targets. Love and his receiving corps will now have plenty of extra time to continue building chemistry ahead of a Week 5 road contest versus the Raiders on Monday night, Oct. 9.

  • Raiders' Jimmy Garoppolo: Practices in limited fashion

Garoppolo (concussion) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

Though Garoppolo hasn't yet cleared the NFL's five-step concussion protocol, he took the first tangible step forward in his recovery by returning to practice Thursday after he had previously sat out Wednesday's session. He still has a couple more hurdles to clear before exiting the protocol, but at this stage of the week, Garoppolo appears to be trending toward suiting up this Sunday against the Chargers. The Raiders will continue to keep both Brian Hoyer and Aidan O'Connell ready to play in the event Garoppolo takes a step back in his recovery or otherwise fails to clear the protocol ahead of Sunday's contest.

  • Joe Burrow QB | CIN

Bengals' Joe Burrow: Puts in full practice

Burrow (calf) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.

Burrow was listed as a full participant Wednesday on the Bengals' first Week 4 injury report, but his ability to take every rep Thursday was more meaningful since Cincinnati held a traditional practice session rather than a walk-through. Though Burrow probably isn't 100 percent recovered from the right calf injury he aggravated late in the Bengals' Week 2 loss to the Ravens, the quarterback doesn't look as though he'll be in danger of missing any game action after he came out of Monday's win over the Rams no worse for the wear. He'll draw a favorable matchup this Sunday against the Titans, facing off against a defense that has been stout against the run but vulnerable against the pass (275.3 yards per game).

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Browns' Deshaun Watson: Practice reps capped again

Watson (shoulder) was a limited practice participant Thursday.

Though the Browns listed Watson as a limited participant for the second day in a row, he at least appeared to take a step forward in his recovery Thursday by doing some throwing in the portion of practice that was open to the media, per Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal. Easterling notes that Watson wasn't throwing at full velocity, however, with most of his throws being dump-off passes to running backs or Browns staffers. In any case, the Browns maintain that Watson will be ready to start Sunday against the Ravens, even though his right shoulder is still a bit sore after he took a hard hit in last week's win over the Titans. Friday's injury report will reveal whether or not Watson enters Sunday's contest with a designation.

  • Bears' Nathan Peterman: Rejoins Chicago

Peterman re-signed with the Bears on Sept. 21, one day after being released, Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

According to Finley, Peterman's brief removal from the 53-man roster was the result of the Bears' desire to sign another player off an opposing team's practice squad, but the deal ultimately didn't come to pass. As a result, Peterman ended up suiting up for this past Sunday's 41-10 loss to the Chiefs, but he didn't take any snaps even though the game turned into a blowout by halftime. Peterman has dressed for all three of the Bears' games to date as the backup to Justin Fields, with rookie Tyson Bagent being inactive for each of those contests as the team's No. 3 quarterback.

  • Colts' Anthony Richardson: Practices fully again

Richardson (concussion) was a full practice participant Thursday.

Richardson has turned in two full practices in a row, which has him trending toward returning to action Sunday against the Rams, barring any setbacks. The Colts will release their final Week 4 injury report Friday, when it will be known whether Richardson will enter Sunday's contest without a designation. Though Richardson hasn't missed out on any reps in practice this week, the Colts haven't yet confirmed that he's cleared the five-step concussion protocol.

  • Raiders' Jimmy Garoppolo: Returns to practice

Garoppolo (concussion) was spotted on the field for practice Thursday, Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site reports.

Garoppolo sat out Wednesday's practice after sustaining the concussion in this past Sunday's loss to the Steelers, but his return to the field Thursday bodes well for his chances of playing this weekend against the Chargers. Later Thursday, the Raiders will release their second Week 4 injury report, which will reveal the extent of Garoppolo's practice participation.
