Driskel (calf) isn't in line to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Chiefs, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

With Kyler Murray still on the active/PUP list due to his recovery from a torn right ACL, the Cardinals will roll with Colt McCoy, Clayton Tune and David Blough under center in their second exhibition. Meanwhile, Driskel also won't be available due to a strained calf that he sustained prior to the team's first preseason contest. As a result, he'll have just one more chance for game action this month (Saturday, Aug. 26 at Minnesota).

Garoppolo is expected to start Saturday's preseason game against the Rams, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Garoppolo didn't play in the preseason opener, so this will be his Raiders debut. We shouldn't expect him to play more than a couple series, if that, and rookie Aidan O'Connell figures to lead the Vegas quarterbacks in snaps for this one. Garoppolo will look to knock some rust off in his first action since last season's foot surgery.

Mark Daniels of the Providence Journal indicates that it's his understanding that Jones is expected to see action in Saturday's preseason game against the Packers.

Meanwhile, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site points out that Jones -- who played in New England's final two exhibition games in 2022, per Daniels -- and the team's other offensive starters played three drives in the second preseason game last year, and if the QB does play Saturday, a similar pattern could follow. In last week's preseason opener, Jones was rested, with Bailey Zappe, Malik Cunningham and Trace McSorley handling signal-caller duties.

Coach John Harbaugh indicated Saturday that Johnson is slated to start and play the first half of Monday's preseason game against the Commanders, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

After Johnson get his reps in, Anthony Brown is in line to take over in the second half, which sets the stage for Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley (hamstring) to be held out of the contest. Johnson and Brown are competing for the Ravens' No. 3 QB job behind Jackson and Huntley.

Head coach John Harbaugh is not concerned about Huntley's (hamstring) status going forward.

Huntley has been sidelined since tweaking his hamstring during last Saturday's preseason opener. However, it looks like the Ravens are just exercising caution with their backup quarterback in order to avoid a lingering issue. As of now, it looks like the team still expects him to be the No. 2 quarterback behind Lamar Jackson when Week 1 rolls around.

With coach John Harbaugh noting Saturday that Josh Johnsonand Anthony Brown are each in line to play a half in Monday's preseason game against the Commanders, Jackson once again isn't slated to see action, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Jackson also didn't play in the Ravens' preseason opener, and this time around Harbaugh relays that Johnson will get the start Monday and play the first half, with Brown expected to take over for the second half. Jackson's final opportunity to see exhibition snaps will come Saturday, Aug. 26 against the Buccaneers.

Tagovailoa isn't listed by the Dolphins among the players not expected to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Texans, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

The same applies to star WR Tyreek Hill, as it looks like the team's healthy starters will have an opportunity to see some reps Saturday. If so, it remains to be seen how long Tagovailoa plays, with Mike White and Skylar Thompson also available to see QB work as the game progresses.

Huntley (hamstring) isn't practicing Saturday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Huntley tweaked his hamstring during last Saturday's preseason contest against Philadelphia and didn't practice at all this week. The injury was initially described as minor, so the Ravens may be acting out of an abundance of caution in opting to hold him out. Huntley seems unlikely to play in Monday's exhibition game in Washington, but there's no indication that he's in danger of missing the start of the regular season.

Tannehill's fellow QB Malik Willis is expected to play for the duration of Saturday's preseason contest against the Vikings, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

Per Davenport, Will Levis (lower body) is in line to sit out the game, which sets the stage for starter Ryan Tannehill to be rested Saturday, assuming Willis isn't forced to exit the contest. At this stage, it appears as though Tannehill's next game action will probably not occur until the Titans' regular-season opener against the Saints on Sept. 10.

Trask is in line to start Saturday's preseason game against the Jets, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Baker Mayfield got the start in the Bucs' first preseason game, and as planned, Trask gets the nod Saturday. Stroud suggests that depending on how many possessions the team has and the resulting success of them, the 2021 second-rounder could play into the second quarter. Trask will be followed by Mayfield as Tampa Bay's QB competition continues ahead of Week 1.
