  • Lions' Teddy Bridgewater: Gets Saturday start

Bridgewater is slated to start Saturday's preseason game against the Jaguars, James Palmer of NFL Network reports.

Per Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site, coach Dan Campbell noted this week that he didn't plan on playing the team's starters, so Bridgewater will have an opportunity to solidify his standing behind top QB Jared Goff, with Nate Sudfeld and Adrian Martinez on hand to follow Bridgewater on Saturday.

  • Malik Willis QB | MIA

Titans' Malik Willis: Expects big workload Saturday

Willis is expected to be under center for the Titans for the entirety of Saturday's exhibition game against the Vikings, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

Willis' big workload comes at the expense of Will Levis, who is dealing with a lower body issue. As a result, the second-year signal caller will get an opportunity to showcase his talents for a full game. He completed 16 of 25 passes for 189 yards and one interception in Tennessee's opening preseason contest against the Bears, while adding 22 yards and one touchdown across three carries on the ground. Willis alternated possessions with Levis in that contest.

  • Will Levis QB | TEN

Titans' Will Levis: Not playing Saturday

Levis (lower body) will not play in Saturday's preseason game in Minnesota, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

Levis exited Thursday's practice early due to a lower-body injury, and it looks like the Titans will opt to err on the side of caution with their second-round draft selection. As a result, second-year quarterback, Malik Willis is expected to play the full game under center. Levis has primarily worked as Tennessee's third-string quarterback so far during training camp.

  • Tommy DeVito QB | NE

Giants' Tommy DeVito: Looking good in preseason play

DeVito completed nine of 11 pass attempts for 88 yards Friday in an exhibition victory versus Carolina. He added two yards on five rushes.

DeVito didn't toss any touchdown passes in the win, but he also didn't turn the ball over and showed efficiency with just two incompletions. The undrafted rookie did fine as well in the Giants' preseason opener last week, going 15-for-24 on pass attempts with one touchdown and one interception. Veteran Tyrod Taylor is locked in as Daniel Jones' backup for the coming campaign, so DeVito is likely playing for a spot on New York's practice squad.

  • Tyrod Taylor QB | NYJ

Giants' Tyrod Taylor: Solid again in exhibition action

Taylor completed nine of 13 pass attempts for 90 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions in Friday's preseason win over the Panthers. He added 21 rushing yards on three carries.

Taylor saw more action than in the Giants' first exhibition contest, when he attempted just four passes. The highlight of the veteran QB's night came when he hit rookie wideout Jalin Hyatt for a 33-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Taylor is locked in as New York's backup signal caller behind Daniel Jones for the coming campaign.

  • Daniel Jones QB | IND

Giants' Daniel Jones: Surgical in Friday's preseason win

Jones completed eight of nine passes for 69 yards and a touchdown in Friday's preseason victory over the Panthers. He added six rushing yards on his only carry.

The fifth-year quarterback was only on the field for one possession, but Jones made the most of it, leading a 75-drive that culminated with a four-yard TD pass to tight end Daniel Bellinger. After signing a four-year, $160 million contract to remain with the Giants this offseason, the team is counting on Jones to take another step forward, but even in a career-best 2022 campaign, his YPA was still a meager 6.8 with only 15 passing TDs.

  • Falcons' Desmond Ridder: Plays one possession

Ridder completed seven of nine passes for 80 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Friday's 13-13 tie against the Bengals in preseason action. He also rushed the ball once for seven yards.

Ridder saw his first preseason action of the 2023 season and played one drive. He had some strong moments, highlighted by a 21-yard completion to Drake London down the left sideline, and he also showed accuracy in the short to middle areas of the field. On the other hand, the drive concluded in shaky fashion, as Ridder appeared to mistime a throw to Scotty Miller near the goal line -- resulting in a tipped pass and interception. Ridder will be under center for Atlanta's Week 1 matchup against Carolina, and it's possible he won't take the field again until the regular season kicks off.

  • Bryce Young QB | CAR

Panthers' Bryce Young: Another quiet performance

Young completed three of six passes for 35 yards in Friday's preseason loss to the Giants. He added one rushing yard on one carry.

The rookie led the Panthers to one field goal on his two drives before checking out of the game. Young hasn't posted big numbers in his first two exhibition appearances, but the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft remains on track to open the regular season as Carolina's starting QB. If there's a positive takeaway from Friday's effort, it's that Young completed passes to each of his top three wideouts -- DJ Chark, Adam Thielen and Jonathan Mingo -- on his one scoring drive as he works to build chemistry with the trio.

  • Bryce Young QB | CAR

Panthers' Bryce Young: In line for three drives Friday

Young is expected to start and play about three possessions during Friday's preseason game at the Giants, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.

Young logged 11 snaps on three drives in the Panthers' exhibition opener last Saturday against the Jets en route to 21 yards on 4-for-6 passing. Carolina didn't put up any points during his time on the field, so the coaching staff likely will be looking to make progress on that front. Once Young hits the sidelines for good Friday, he'll be handing off the offense to second-year pro Matt Corral due to backup Andy Dalton sitting out with a tight back.

  • Trevor Siemian QB | ATL

Bengals' Trevor Siemian: In line to start Friday

Siemian is slated to start Friday's preseason game against the Falcons, Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official site reports.

The report notes that after Siemian gets first-half work in on Friday, Jake Browning is in line to play the second half of the contest. Meanwhile, starter Joe Burrow didn't make the trip with the team to Atlanta as he continues to rehab his strained calf.
