  • Jalen Hurts QB | PHI

Eagles' Jalen Hurts: Runs in three TDs in Week 15 win

Hurts completed 22 of 37 passes for 315 yards and two interceptions while rushing 17 times for 61 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 25-20 win over Chicago.

Hurts came into this one with only three interceptions all season but tossed two in the first half as the Eagles fell behind 6-3 before Hurts orchestrated a nine-play, 91-yard touchdown drive to take a 10-6 lead into the locker room. He capped that drive with a 22-yard rushing touchdown, then scored from one yard out in the third and fourth quarters to raise his season rushing touchdown total to 13. If Hurts can lead the Eagles to a Week 16 win in Dallas on Saturday, Philadelphia would clinch the No. 1 seed in the NFC with two weeks to spare.

  • Davis Mills QB | HOU

Texans' Davis Mills: Expected to be part of two-QB setup

Mills is slated to start Sunday's game against the Chiefs, but he's expected to cede snaps to backup Jeff Driskel while the Texans implement a two-quarterback system, league sources tell Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com.

In his return from a two-game benching last weekend in Dallas, Mills surprisingly helped keep the 1-11-1 Texans competitive in a 27-23 loss to one of the NFC's top teams. However, Mills wasn't used as a traditional starter in his return, as he played exactly half of the snaps and finished with 16 completions on 21 attempts for 175 yards and an interception in the loss. Driskel, meanwhile, played half the game as well and attempted only six passes, though he was highly involved as a runner (seven carries for 36 yards). Assuming the rough timeshare remains in place Sunday, both Mills and Driskel are tough to rely on as fantasy options while neither receives a full snap count.

  • Kyle Allen QB | BUF

Texans' Kyle Allen: Another healthy scratch

Allen (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Chiefs.

For a second consecutive contest, Allen will don street clothes while the duo of Davis Mills and Jeff Driskel are slated to split quarterback reps for the Texans. Considering the team was able to keep the game close Week 14 at Dallas before an eventual 27-23 loss, coach Lovie Smith may continue to roll with this breakdown of signal-callers for the rest of the campaign. In any case, Allen has just three more chances to make an appearance before the offseason begins.

  • Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Good to go Sunday

Lawrence (toe) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

Lawrence practiced as a limited participant Thursday and Friday to earn the questionable tag, and he'll play through a left toe sprain for the second straight contest. The 23-year-old delivered the best game of his young career last week against the Titans, completing 30 of 42 passes for 368 yards and three touchdowns. He's completed 71.8 percent of his passes with 10 touchdowns and zero interceptions over the past five games.

  • Zach Wilson QB | NO

Jets' Zach Wilson: Could get two-game starting run

Wilson, who will start Sunday's game against the Lions, also appears likely to direct the Jets offense in the team's Week 16 game against the Jaguars on Thursday with Mike White (ribs) not expected to be available, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

White was already ruled out in advance of the Week 15 game Friday, when he wasn't cleared to take contact after being diagnosed with three rib fractures in the aftermath of last Sunday's loss to the Bills, according to Rapoport. Due to the quick turnaround for the Week 16 contest, White faces an uphill battle to make it back for that game, so the Jets are prepared to give Wilson another trial as their starter. Before being benched for the past three games and serving as a healthy inactive behind White and Joe Flacco, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 Draft completed just 55.6 percent of his attempts for 1,279 yards, four touchdowns and five interceptions while carrying 24 times for 94 yards and a score in his previous seven starts this season.

  • Mitch Trubisky QB | TEN

Steelers' Mitch Trubisky: Likely on short leash Sunday

Trubisky will start Sunday's game against the Panthers, but he could have a short leash if he struggles early on during the contest, sources tell Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

Though he'll pick up his first start since Week 4 with rookie Kenny Pickett (concussion) ruled out in advance of Sunday's contest, Trubisky doesn't look as though he'll have much margin for error. After coming on in relief of the concussed Pickett in last week's 16-14 loss to the Ravens, Trubisky completed 22 of 30 pass attempts for 276 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions while also taking a sack. With Pickett sidelined in practice throughout the week, Trubisky split first-team reps Wednesday through Friday with Mason Rudolph before head coach Mike Tomlin named Trubisky the Week 15 starter following Friday's session. Rudolph has been the Steelers' third-string quarterback all season, but he'll dress as the backup Sunday and should be prepared to step in if Trubisky puts the Steelers in an early hole.

  • Kyler Murray QB | MIN

Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Could recover in 6-to-8 months

Murray is believed to have suffered a "clean" ACL tear in Monday's 27-13 loss to the Patriots and is scheduled to undergo surgery along with another procedure to stitch up the meniscus in his left knee at some point between Christmas Day and New Year's Day, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

According to Rapoport, Murray will "pre-hab" for two or three weeks before surgery, with the decision to delay the procedure expected to provide ample time for the swelling in his knee to dissipate while enabling the quarterback to maintain as much flexibility as possible. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that once he has the surgery, Murray will require an estimated 6-to-8 months of recovery time. If that timeline holds, Murray should be on track to be ready for Week 1 of the regular season, though he could be limited at the start of training camp and may not be available for preseason action. In the meantime, the Cardinals plan to have veteran Colt McCoy start the remaining four games of the current season, beginning with Sunday's matchup with the Broncos.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Four touchdowns against Miami

Allen completed 25 of 40 passes for 304 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions in Saturday's 32-29 win over the Dolphins. He added 10 rushes for 77 yards.

Allen entered Saturday's game having failed to top 300 passing yards in four consecutive games, though he reached that mark on the strength of four completions of 20 yards or more. He also threw for four touchdowns in a game for the third time this season, connecting for scores from 14, 10, four and five yards away. While that combination was plenty impressive enough, Allen also ripped off several long gains on the ground -- highlighted by a 44-yard rush early in the fourth quarter. All told, it was a heroic performance from Allen, as he produced at an exceptional level in every way possible.

  • Tua Tagovailoa QB | ATL

Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa: Modest performance in close loss

Tagovailoa completed 17 of 30 passes for 234 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Dolphins' 32-29 loss to the Bills on Saturday night. He also rushed once for seven yards and committed a fumble recovered by Miami.

Tagovailoa certainly was more efficient than in his disastrous Week 14 performance against the Chargers, but he still completed only 56.7 percent of his passes in a game that eventually saw the advent of snowy conditions. Tagovailoa's best quarter was the third, when he completed 67- and 20-yard scoring tosses to Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill, respectively. Twelve of Tagovailoa's 17 completions went to the dynamic duo, but the fact Miami couldn't muster any touchdowns during the entirety of the fourth quarter ultimately sunk its chances of offsetting Buffalo's comeback. Tagovailoa next opportunity to bounce back to his previous level of production comes in what is now an especially critical Christmas Day afternoon matchup against the Packers at home in Week 16.

  • Deshaun Watson QB | CLE

Browns' Deshaun Watson: Manages Cleveland to victory

Watson completed 18 of 28 passes for 161 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Saturday's 13-3 win over the Ravens. He added six rushes for 22 yards.

The Browns were in a positive game script for much of the contest, which allowed them to run a balanced offense. Watson wasn't asked to carry the team as a result, though he still struggled to a subpar 5.8 yards per attempt. Despite the inefficiency, he didn't turn the ball over and also managed to connect with Donovan Peoples-Jones for a three-yard touchdown late in the third quarter -- Watson's second score in three games this season. While there have been glimpses of promise in the last two weeks, Watson has also been held below 200 passing yards in two of his three starts.
