  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: May be limited in practice Week 10

Allen, who is dealing with a UCL sprain to his right elbow, is expected to have his reps limited in practice this week, but the Bills remain hopeful that he'll play Sunday against the Vikings, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Allen picked up the injury in the Bills' Week 9 loss to the Jets, though he wasn't forced to miss any snaps because of it. Even so, Allen still seems to be affected by the injury, though both the quarterback and the team believe the elbow sprain will be something he'll be able to manage moving forward. While Allen is likely to sit out Wednesday or participate in the Bills' first Week 10 session as only a limited participant, the early expectation is that he'll be ready to start by the time Sunday rolls around. Rapoport notes that how Allen's elbow responds this week will be a significant factor in the 26-year-old's availability and outlook moving forward.

  • Sam Ehlinger QB | DEN

Colts' Sam Ehlinger: Remains starter under new coach

Ehlinger remains the starter heading into a Week 10 matchup against the Raiders on Sunday, Kevin Hickey of USA Today reports.

Indianapolis' new head coach, Jeff Saturday, replacing Frank Reich, said in his opening press conference Monday that "Sam [Ehlinger] will be the quarterback." The 2021 sixth-round pick is coming off a dispiriting loss to New England but did show some flashes in his debut versus the Commanders in Week 8, and he could find more success against an exploitable Raiders defense on Sunday. Through two NFL starts, Ehlinger is still without his first passing touchdown but has thrown one interception.

  • Andy Dalton QB | PHI

Saints' Andy Dalton: Struggles against Ravens

Dalton completed 19 of 29 passes for 210 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Monday's 27-13 loss to the Ravens. He added two rushes for five yards.

Dalton's final stat line doesn't look terrible, but he padded it significantly in garbage time. His lone touchdown went for 41 yards with the Saints down 27-7 late in the fourth quarter, and the Ravens gave up on the play after mistakenly believing that Juwan Johnson had stepped out of bounds. While Dalton has likely done enough to maintain his starting role heading into a Week 10 matchup against the Steelers, he has managed only one total touchdown in four of his six games on the season.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Remains aggressive with legs

Jackson completed 12 of 22 passes for 133 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Monday's 27-13 win over the Saints. He added 11 rushes for 82 yards.

Jackson got off to a quick start through the air by leading the Ravens on an 11-play, 76-yard touchdown drive on their second possession that he capped with a 24-yard touchdown toss to Isaiah Likely. He slowed down through the air from there, but he found success with his legs, ripping off runs of 17, 16 and 12 yards. The end result was his seventh game this season with over 50 rushing yards. That has helped him maintain a moderate amount of fantasy value despite having recorded multiple passing touchdowns in only one of his last six contests.

  • Logan Woodside QB | ARI

Logan Woodside: Moves back to practice squad

The Titans reverted Woodside to their practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

With Ryan Tannehill dealing with an ankle injury, Woodside was elevated to the active roster each of the past two weeks to back up Malik Willis. Despite Willis' struggles, Woodside did not take a snap in either contest. Whether he's elevated again for Week 10's clash with the Broncos will largely depend on Tannehill's health.

  • Case Keenum QB | CHI

Bills' Case Keenum: Could be called upon

Keenum's teammate Josh Allen reportedly is being evaluated for an elbow injury to his ulnar collateral ligament as well as related nerves.

Allen dismissed the severity of the injury Sunday after the loss to the Jets, saying he'd be OK, but he clearly was hurting on the team's final drive, and coach Sean McDermott indicated Monday that his star QB needed to be further evaluated. Allen missed four games as a rookie with a UCL injury, though for all we know he could be ready to suit up Week 10 around some limited practice time. Should the worst transpire, however, Keenum would be called to take on starting duties for a team that offers plenty of weapons in the passing game, namely former Vikings teammate Stefon Diggs.

  • Panthers' Baker Mayfield: Remains backup this week

PJ Walker is slated to start Thursday night's game against the Falcons, with Mayfield in line to remain his backup, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.

The announcement was made by coach Steve Wilks on Monday afternoon following the team's activation of QB Sam Darnold (ankle) to the 53-man roster and in the wake of Walker being benched and replaced by Mayfield after halftime in Sunday's loss to the Bengals. It remains to be seen what the Panthers' signal-caller plans are beyond Week 10, with Newton suggesting that the team would like to get another look at Darnold at some point this season and noting that it's possible Mayfield potentially could be waived in the coming weeks.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Week 10 status TBD

Allen is being evaluated for an elbow injury to his ulnar collateral ligament as well as related nerves, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports. "We're just going through it, still evaluating it, and we'll see where it goes," head coach Sean McDermott said Monday. "I'll know more in the next 24 hours and then probably be able to check in with [the media] back on Wednesday."

At the very least, expect Allen's practice participation to be affected this week, but regardless, his status will be worth monitoring closely ahead of Sunday's game against the Vikings. If Allen is unable to play this weekend, Case Keenum would be in line for the start at quarterback.

  • Josh Allen QB | BUF

Bills' Josh Allen: Likely limited due to elbow injury

Allen (elbow) likely will be limited during Week 10 prep, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Per Rapoport, the situation is considered minor and isn't expected to sideline Allen for any games, though the quarterback still is undergoing tests Monday to confirm the severity of the issue. Allen suffered the right elbow injury during the Bills' final drive of Sunday's loss and admitted he was experiencing some pain, but he brushed off the issue by saying, "I'll get through it." Fantasy managers are encouraged to monitor Allen's status throughout the week, but barring a setback, he figures to suit up for Buffalo's Week 10 matchup against Minnesota.

  • P.J. Walker QB | SEA

Panthers' PJ Walker: Will start Thursday versus Atlanta

Walker will start Thursday's matchup against the Falcons, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Coming off back-to-back solid performances, Walker fell flat against the Bengals in the first half of Sunday's Week 9 loss and ultimately was replaced by Baker Mayfield, suggesting Walker's time as the primary signal-caller may have come to an end. However, the former XFL quarterback will get another crack versus Atlanta, who the Panthers played Week 8 and featured Walker's 62-yard Hail Mary touchdown to DJ Moore to force OT in an eventual loss. Sam Darnold was activated off IR on Monday morning, but with Carolina on a short week, the Panthers will opt to go with Walker for at least one more contest while Darnold gets back to full speed.
