Dak Prescott QB | DAL
Cowboys' Dak Prescott: On track for Week 7
Prescott (thumb) threw about 50 passes to receivers before Sunday night's game against the Eagles and didn't appear to have any issues with the velocity of his passes or with taking snaps, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
"I thought Dak took the next step," coach Mike McCarthy said. "It was what we're looking for. He had a good day yesterday in the Saturday practice. He threw two sequences, two racks of six in the 7-on-7 third down and red zone. I thought he did well in that. We wanted to push it to 50 throws [Sunday], and I thought the guys did a great job for him. ... We'll get him in there tomorrow, see where we are, and hopefully have a plan for him Thursday." Everything appears to be pointing toward Prescott returning to the lineup Week 7 against the Lions.

Cooper Rush QB | BAL
Cowboys' Cooper Rush: Struggles in SNF loss
Rush completed just 18 of 38 pass attempts for 181 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions in Sunday's 26-17 loss to the Eagles.
Rush was harassed from start to finish, resulting in his worst outing since being forced to take over as the Cowboys' starting quarterback in Week 2. The 28-year-old had flourished as a game manager with four touchdowns and no turnovers over his last four starts before getting exposed by Philadelphia's secondary Sunday. Rush's run as starter may come to a close ahead of next Sunday's tilt against the Lions, as Dak Prescott (thumb) was able to get in a throwing session before Sunday's primetime loss. The quarterback situation in Dallas should become clearer as we progress through the upcoming practice week.

Jacoby Brissett QB | ARI
Browns' Jacoby Brissett: Falls flat against Patriots
Brissett completed 21 of 45 passes for 266 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 31-15 loss to the Patriots.
Brissett struggled against his former team, as he managed only 5.9 yards per attempt and threw multiple interceptions in a game for the first time this season. The performance was disappointing, though he did manage four passes of more than 20 yards -- matching his season high -- to a combination of Donovan Peoples-Jones and David Njoku. Even if he manages a bounceback performance in Week 7 against Baltimore, Brissett has yet to show much upside as a fantasy producer as he has failed to throw for multiple touchdowns in five of six games.

Jalen Hurts QB | PHI
Eagles' Jalen Hurts: Stays perfect on SNF
Hurts completed 15 of 25 pass attempts for 155 yards and two touchdowns while adding 27 yards on nine carries in Sunday's 26-17 win over Dallas.
Hurts was bottled up by an elite Dallas defense from a yardage standpoint, resulting in his first game with less than 200 combined passing and rushing yards this season. Even with the low volume, the early MVP frontrunner made plays at crucial points of drives and had his team up by three scores at halftime. Hurts continues to show improved decision-making prowess from the pocket (6:2 TD:INT on a 69 percent completion rate) while offering the ability to break away and turn into a power running back at a moment's notice (77/293/6 on the ground). The 23-year-old's fantasy managers will have to find a replacement quarterback for Week 7, as Philadelphia enters its bye. Hurts and the undefeated Eagles will resume action against the Steelers on Oct. 30.

Geno Smith QB | NYJ
Seahawks' Geno Smith: Slowed by Arizona
Smith completed 20 of 31 passes for 197 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 19-9 win over Arizona.
Smith helped the Seahawks to victory, though he was unable to continue his extremely efficient performances. After averaging 10.7 yards per attempt in each of his last two games, Smith managed a mark of just 6.4 yards per attempt against Arizona. He also failed to throw for a touchdown for the second time this season, resulting in a disappointing performance. Smith should be in a positive game environment to rebound in a Week 8 matchup against the Chargers.

Daniel Jones QB | IND
Giants' Daniel Jones: Few mistakes in win
Jones completed 19 of 27 passes for 173 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions in Sunday's 24-20 win over the Ravens.
Jones threw multiple touchdowns for the first time since Week 1, finding the end zone from five and eight yards away. He remained a game manager but did so effectively by distributing the ball accurately and largely avoiding miscues -- though he did lose an inconsequential fumble just before halftime. Jones will have capped volume until the Giants are forced to take to the air more, limiting his fantasy intrigue.

Jimmy Garoppolo QB | LAR
49ers' Jimmy Garoppolo: Airs it out in losing effort
Garoppolo completed 29 of 41 pass attempts for 296 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 28-14 loss to Atlanta.
One of Garoppolo's two turnovers wasn't entirely his fault, as it was essentially a failed Hail Mary at the end of the first half. The 30-year-old did miss badly on his second pick, and also airmailed an open George Kittle in the end zone in the second half. Garoppolo did post his best fantasy point total through four starts this season, so there was a silver lining from a fantasy perspective. Garoppolo may be asked to throw 40-plus times once again if the 49ers fall behind early to Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs next Sunday.

Patrick Mahomes QB | KC
Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Throws two picks in Sunday's loss
Mahomes completed 25 of 40 passes for 338 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions in Sunday's 24-20 loss to the Bills. He added 21 rushing yards on four carries.
It was another back-and-forth battle between the two AFC powerhouses, but after Josh Allen led a TD drive and left just 1:09 on the clock in the fourth quarter, Mahomes wasn't able to answer back, instead throwing his second INT of the afternoon. The superstar QB had only been picked off twice through five games coming into Sunday, and he's tossed multiple TDs in five of six games so far in 2022. Mahomes will look to be sharper, and get back in the win column, in a Week 7 clash with the 49ers.
-
Kyler Murray QB | MIN
Cardinals' Kyler Murray: Inefficient through air
Murray completed 23 of 37 passes for 222 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 19-9 loss to the Seahawks. He added 10 rushes for 100 yards.
The Seahawks have been a favorable matchup for opposing quarterbacks this season, but Murray failed to take advantage. He averaged only 6.0 yards per attempt, though he did manage four completions of more than 20 yards -- his highest mark in any game this season. Most encouraging was Murray's aggressiveness on the ground, as he tallied a season-high 100 rushing yards. If Murray continues to be aggressive with his legs, he could begin to produce more as expected prior to the season, as he and the Cardinals will welcome back DeAndre Hopkins (suspension) in Week 7.
-
Josh Allen QB | BUF
Bills' Josh Allen: Tosses three TDs in Sunday's win
Allen completed 27 of 40 passes for 329 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 24-20 win over Kansas City. He added 32 rushing yards on 12 carries.
In another thrilling clash between the two AFC powerhouses, Allen and the Bills came out on top. The Pro Bowl quarterback tossed TD passes in each of the final three quarters, including the 14-yard game-winner to Dawson Knox with just over a minute left in the game. Allen has racked up over 300 passing yards and multiple touchdowns in four of the last five games, but he'll get a breather next week during Buffalo's bye before facing Aaron Rodgers and the Packers in Week 8.
