  • Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Rips off 64-yard TD in loss

Stevenson rushed nine times for 87 yards and a touchdown while catching four of six targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Commanders.

Stevenson came in without a run longer than 15 yards this season, but he broke free for a 64-yard touchdown run in the second quarter to give the Patriots a 14-10 lead. Despite Stevenson's effectiveness, New England curiously went with a pass-heavy approach, as Mac Jones threw the ball 44 times for just 220 yards. Ezekiel Elliott had just 32 scrimmage yards on six carries and five targets, so Stevenson remains New England's primary backfield option heading into a Week 10 matchup with the Colts in Frankfurt.

  • Royce Freeman RB | CHI

Rams' Royce Freeman: Leads team in carries

Freeman rushed 12 times for 32 yards in Sunday's 20-3 loss to the Packers.

Freeman was also unsuccessfully targeted once. The tailback led Los Angeles in rush attempts and yards, but his production was still underwhelming. Nonetheless, with teammates Kyren Williams (ankle) and Ronnie Rivers (knee) on IR, Freeman and Darrell Henderson figure to remain the Rams' top runners when they return from their bye week.

  • Alvin Kamara RB | NO

Saints' Alvin Kamara: Season-low 70 scrimmage yards

Kamara rushed nine times for 26 yards and caught four of five targets for 44 yards in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Bears.

Kamara's inability to find running room against Chicago's stout run defense wasn't too surprising, but his modest receiving production was disappointing considering the Bears came into this game having allowed the most receiving yards and receiving touchdowns in the league to running backs. While Kamara finished just two receiving yards shy of Chris Olave's team-leading total, the running back tied his second-lowest target total of the season, and Kamara's 70 scrimmage yards marked his lowest total in six appearances. He should remain involved as both a rusher and a pass catcher in Week 10 against the Vikings on the road.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Packers' Aaron Jones: Scores in win

Jones rushed 20 times for 73 yards and a touchdown but lost a fumble in Sunday's 20-3 win over the Rams. He also caught four of six targets for 26 yards.

Jones scored a rare first-half touchdown for the Packers, finding the end zone from three yards to begin the second quarter. Although a fumble hurt his performance, Jones still garnered what was comfortably his heaviest workload of this season. After dealing with a hamstring injury early on, Jones' stock is trending up ahead of next Sunday's game versus the Steelers.

  • Cam Akers RB | SEA

Vikings' Cam Akers: Injures ankle Sunday

Akers was forced out of Sunday's game against the Falcons with an ankle injury.

Prior to his exit from Sunday's contest, Akers had carried eight times for 25 yards and caught three passes for 13 yards. In his absence, fellow RB Ty Chandler is available to work behind Alexander Mattison.

  • Saints' Kendre Miller: Suffers ankle injury Sunday

Miller injured his ankle during Sunday's game against the Bears.

MIller had two touches prior to his exit in the fourth quarter: a 31-yard catch and a carry for no yards. He got hurt on the second one and visited the medical tent before the Saints reported the injury. If Miller sticks on the sideline, New Orleans will have Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams on hand out of its backfield.

  • DeeJay Dallas RB | JAC

Seahawks' DeeJay Dallas: Questionable to return

Dallas suffered a right shoulder injury during Sunday's game against the Ravens and is questionable to return, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

The running back needed trainer assistance to get off the field after a punt, per Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times. Dallas returned two punts for nine yards before exiting. The fourth-year pro has played more on special teams than on offense in 2023.

  • Rashaad Penny RB | CAR

Eagles' Rashaad Penny: Active in Week 9

Penny is active for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

The offseason addition had garnered active status only once prior to Sunday in his brief Eagles tenure, with that transpiring back in Week 2. However, the Week 9 absence of Boston Scott (personal) opens the door for Penny to get back in uniform against the Cowboys, albeit as the projected No. 3 back behind D'Andre Swift and Kenneth Gainwell.

  • Falcons' Cordarrelle Patterson: Returns for second half

Patterson (ankle) returned to Sunday's game against the Vikings for the start of the second half, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.

Deemed questionable to return to the game after sustaining an ankle injury in the first half, Patterson was back deep for the Falcons' first kickoff return of the third quarter following a Vikings field goal on the prior possession. Patterson looks like he'll be able to serve as the Falcons' kickoff man for the rest of the day, but expect him to continue to handle only a light role on offense.

  • Deuce Vaughn RB | DEN

Cowboys' Deuce Vaughn: Healthy inactive Week 9

Vaughn (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.

Vaughn will be a healthy scratch for the third straight game after garnering active status for the first five contests of his career. The rookie's next chance to return to action comes in a Week 10 home matchup against the Giants next Sunday.
