Jahmyr Gibbs RB | DET
Lions' Jahmyr Gibbs: Expected to play
Coach Dan Campbell said Friday that Gibbs (hamstring) is "gonna be a go" for Sunday's game in Baltimore, Colton Pouncy of The Athletic reports.
Gibbs likely will return from a two-game absence and take on a role as Detroit's lead back, as David Montgomery (ribs) hasn't practiced since his early exit from last Sunday's win over Tampa Bay. The Lions still may opt to list Gibbs as questionable on the final injury report Friday afternoon, and there's also some question about the backup situation with Craig Reynolds (hamstring/toe) banged up as well. Campbell mentioned Friday that he'd prefer to ease Gibbs back into action but doesn't necessarily have that luxury given all the team's injury issues at RB, potentially putting the rookie in a high-usage role this Sunday against the Ravens, per Kyle Meinke of MLive.com.

Kendre Miller RB | NO
Saints' Kendre Miller: Nonfactor as RB3
Miller had zero carries during Thursday's 31-24 loss against the Jaguars.
Miller played a season-low three offensive snaps behind veteran running backs Alvin Kamara (66) and Jamaal Williams (20), as the latter rejoined the Saints backfield after sitting out the last four games on IR with a hamstring injury. The rookie out of TCU also did not line up on special teams at all, and all 68 of his snaps this season have come on offense. Miller's only significant production came when both Kamara and Williams were sidelined Week 3 and when the Saints blew out the Patriots, 34-0, in Week 5. So long as Kamara and Williams are available, expect Miller to continue to have a limited impact moving forward.

Jamaal Williams RB | NO
Saints' Jamaal Williams: Modest output in return
Williams (hamstring) rushed five times for 14 yards and wasn't targeted in the Saints' 31-24 loss to the Jaguars on Thursday night.
Williams logged 12 fewer carries than backfield mate Alvin Kamara in their first game together, unsurprising given the elevated volume the latter had already seen during his first three games. Williams may see his workload tick up a bit further in coming games, but Kamara appears to be entrenched as the clear lead back while handling a heavier workload than in seasons past, at least for the time being.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Busy in Thursday's loss
Kamara rushed 17 times for 62 yards and brought in 12 of 14 targets for 91 yards in the Saints' 31-24 loss to the Jaguars on Thursday night. He also recorded a two-point conversion catch.
Kamara led the Saints in rushing and receiving yardage, with the latter total and his reception tally both serving as season highs. Kamara has eclipsed 60 rushing yards in each of his last three games and is seeing what is arguably the most robust game-to-game volume of his career on the ground, while his 35 receptions through four contests put him on pace to blow past the career-high 83 he recorded back in 2020. Kamara's backfield mate Jamaal Williams returned in Thursday's game from a stint on injured reserve due to a hamstring issue, but Kamara still notably outpaced him by 12 carries. The division of rushing work between the two will be something to monitor during the Saints' Week 8 road matchup against the Colts on Sunday, Oct. 29.

Travis Etienne RB | NO
Jaguars' Travis Etienne: Two more touchdowns in win
Etienne rushed 14 times for 53 yards and two touchdowns and secured three of five targets for 24 yards in the Jaguars' 31-24 win over the Saints on Thursday night.
Etienne found the end zone from two and 17 yards out in the first and second quarters, respectively, giving him his third consecutive multi-touchdown game. The third-year back did often find running room at a premium against a tough Saints defensive front seven, as he gained just 36 yards on the 13 other carries outside of his second scoring scamper. Etienne has been at 55 rushing yards or less in three of his last four games, but his recent touchdown output has his fantasy stock surging heading into a Week 8 road matchup against the Steelers on Sunday, Oct. 29.

Zach Charbonnet RB | SEA
Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet: Another DNP on Thursday
Charbonnet (hamstring) didn't take part in practice Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Charbonnet's odds to suit up Sunday against the Cardinals seem to be diminishing with each passing day as he sits out practice, but he does have one more chance to mix into drills this week before the Seahawks potentially give him a designation for that contest. If Charbonnet is limited or sidelined this weekend, DeeJay Dallas and/or practice-squad member SaRodorick Thompson would stand to benefit behind Seattle's No. 1 running back Kenneth Walker.

Kendre Miller RB | NO
Saints' Kendre Miller: Rejoined by Williams
Miller is welcoming back Jamaal Williams (hamstring) to the Saints backfield for Thursday's game against the Jaguars, which may relegate the rookie to the team's No. 3 running back behind Alvin Kamara and Williams.
In four appearances this season, Miller's usage has been sporadic, with a range of touches from two to 16. Overall, he's averaging 3.0 yards on his 24 carries and also hauled in seven of eight targets for 71 yards. Kamara has dominated the RB work since returning from suspension, racking up 75 touches for 285 yards from scrimmage and one rushing TD over the last three games. There's a chance Kamara hands off some short-yardage reps to Williams in the latter's return, but that could leave Miller with next to nothing to work with Thursday and moving forward.

Jamaal Williams RB | NO
Saints' Jamaal Williams: Back in action Thursday
Williams (hamstring) is listed as active Thursday against the Jaguars, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.
After missing the minimum four games on injured reserve due to a hamstring strain, Williams is back in action for the first time since getting hurt Week 2. His initial role following his return is in some question, though, as Alvin Kamara completed his three-game suspension during Williams' absence and has averaged 25 touches per week over the last three contests. Kamara figures to get the occasional breather and also yield work to Williams in short-yardage situations, but even in his two appearances this season, the latter received just four red-zone rushes, none of which came inside the five-yard line.

Aaron Jones RB | MIN
Packers' Aaron Jones: Limited in practice again
Jones (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Thursday.
While Jones hasn't yet made it back to full participation, Ryan Wood of USA Today noted Thursday that the running back looked comfortable making cuts on the practice field. Jones benefited from a Week 6 bye and now seems on track to return for Sunday's game in Denver, though there's still a reasonable chance he ends up listed as questionable, especially if he remains limited in practice Friday.

Jordan Mims RB | TEN
Jordan Mims: Gets waived by Saints
New Orleans waived Mims on Thursday.
Just five days after joining the active roster, Mims has been cut loose by the Saints. Assuming he isn't claimed by another team during the current waiver period, Mims will become a free agent.
