Nyheim Miller-Hines RB | NO
Chargers' Nyheim Hines: Reverts to practice squad
Hines reverted to the Chargers' practice squad Friday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Hines and Jaret Patterson were both elevated to the Chargers' active roster for Thursday's game against the Vikings due to the absences of Hassan Haskins (hamstring) and Omarion Hampton (ankle). Hines saw just seven snaps (four on offense, three on special teams) while logging two carries for minus-2 yards, and he was the Chargers' clear RB3 behind Kimani Vidal (54 offensive snaps) and Patterson (15 offensive snaps). Hines has been elevated from the practice squad by the Chargers three times this season, which is the maximum amount. He would have to be signed to the active roster in order to play for the Chargers for the rest of the season.

Jaret Patterson RB | LAC
Chargers' Jaret Patterson: Back to practice squad
Patterson reverted to the Chargers' practice squad Friday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Patterson was signed to the Chargers' practice squad Oct. 14 and joined fellow running back Nyheim Hines as gameday elevations for Thursday's game against the Vikings due to Hassan Haskins (hamstring) being inactive. Patterson ended up playing 15 snaps on offense and turned 11 carries into 30 yards, with six of those carries coming in the fourth quarter with the Chargers holding a commanding lead. Hines has already been elevated by the Chargers from the practice squad for the maximum three times, so Patterson would be a candidate to be promoted to the active roster for Week 9 against the Titans on Sunday, Nov. 2.

Velus Jones Jr. RB | SEA
Velus Jones: Cut by New Orleans
The Saints waived Jones on Friday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.
Friday marks the second time this season that the Saints have cut Jones from the active roster, with the most recent move corresponding with New Orleans claiming tight end Zaire Mitchell-Paden off waivers from the Ravens. Jones could remain in New Orleans as a member of the team's practice squad, though the Saints already have a running back on the scout team in Audric Estime. Jones played for the Saints in their first five games of the regular season, and he accumulated 183 yards on eight kickoff returns over that span.

Josh Jacobs RB | GB
Packers' Josh Jacobs: Cleared to play Sunday night
Jacobs (calf) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at Pittsburgh, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Jacobs played through the same injury last week in a win at Arizona, taking 14 touches for 58 yards and two TDs on 53 percent snap share. He should be tasked with his full workload again now that he's seemingly closer to 100 percent.

Breece Hall RB | NYJ
Jets' Breece Hall: Questionable after full practice
Hall (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals after practicing fully Friday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
After being limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday, Hall's ability to work fully Friday bodes well for his chances of being available versus Cincinnati. Fortunately for those considering the running back in Week 8 fantasy lineups, the Jets kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday. In the event that Hall is limited or out this weekend, Isaiah Davis and Khalil Herbert would be next in line for the 0-7 Jets' backfield snaps.

Kareem Hunt RB | KC
Chiefs' Kareem Hunt: Upgrades to limited Friday
Hunt (ankle/knee) was a limited participant at practice Friday.
Hunt's now listed with an ankle injury in addition to a knee injury, but on a positive note, he practiced in some capacity Friday after being a non-participant Thursday. The Chiefs will post their final injury report Saturday for Monday's game against the Commanders. If Hunt's limited or unavailable, rookie Brashard Smith could take on a larger role alongside Isiah Pacheco.

Roschon Johnson RB | CHI
Bears' Roschon Johnson: Won't play in Week 8
Johnson (back) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Ravens.
The third-year back from Texas didn't practice all week after likely sustaining a back injury in the Week 7 win over the Saints, so it's no surprise that he'll be sidelined Sunday. With Johnson out, the only Bears running backs without injury designations heading into the Week 8 contest are Kyle Monangai and Travis Homer.
-
D'Andre Swift RB | CHI
Bears' D'Andre Swift: Listed as questionable
Swift (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Baltimore.
Swift followed the same practice pattern as last week, logging limited sessions Thursday and Friday after resting at the beginning of the week. He's listed as questionable, again, but it'll be surprising if he doesn't suit up, having played through the same injury last week en route to a 19-124-1 rushing line in the 26-14 win over New Orleans.
-
Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Good to go
Kamara (ankle) won't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against Tampa Bay, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
Kamara played through the same injury the past two weeks, including taking on a season-high 84 percent share when Kendre Miller suffered an ACL tear in the loss at Chicago last Sunday. Devin Neal could get more work with time to prepare for the No. 2 role, but it's also possible Kamara is tasked with some of the snaps and touches that went to Miller in recent weeks.

Tyler Allgeier RB | ATL
Falcons' Tyler Allgeier: Deemed questionable for Week 8
Allgeier (hip/knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Josh Kendall of The Athletic reports.
Allgeier was limited in all three of Atlanta's practices during Week 8 prep. If Allgeier's unable to suit up Sunday against a Dolphins defense that has allowed the most rushing yards in the league to running backs, Nathan Carter would assume the top backup role behind Bijan Robinson.
