Ronald Jones RB | DAL
Buccaneers' Ronald Jones: Another quiet day in win
Jones rushed 11 times for 23 yards and brought in one of three targets for 26 yards in the Buccaneers' 38-17 win over the Lions on Sunday.
Jones showed off his playmaking ability on his one reception, but his work on the ground was once again significantly underwhelming. The second-year back has rushed for 36 yards or fewer in three straight games, and he's only eclipsed the 50-yard mark on the ground on five occasions this season. Jones and Peyton Barber also continue in a nearly even time split in the backfield, which leaves Tampa's ground game a virtual stay-away situation for fantasy title games in Week 16.

Devin Singletary RB | NYG
Bills' Devin Singletary: Receives 21 carries
Singletary rushed 21 times for 87 yards and caught both of his targets for two yards in Sunday's 17-10 win over Pittsburgh.
Singletary led the Bills' backfield in carries by a decent margin for consecutive weeks, firmly cementing his starting role after playing under the shadow of veteran Frank Gore for the first half of the season. The rookie has displayed big-play ability all year, falling below a 4.0 yards per carry mark just once (Week 7 against Miami). Singletary will face a tough matchup against the Patriots' stout run defense next week, so his ceiling may be a bit lower than in recent weeks. It's worth noting the rookie fumbled twice in the contest -- equaling his previous total for the entire season -- and lost one of them.

Wes Hills RB | ARI
Lions' Wes Hills: Scores pair of TDs in debut
Hills, promoted from the practice squad Saturday, rushed 10 times for 21 yards and two touchdowns and brought in both his targets for one yard in the Lions' 38-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday.
With Bo Scarbrough (ribs) inactive, Hills ended up pacing the Lions' backfield in carries and rushing yards. Although that lead role didn't actually equate to any useful yardage from a fantasy perspective, the 24-year-old cashed in with a pair of one-yard scoring runs on which he showed off the power his 218-pound frame can produce in close quarters. If Scarbrough is ready to return for a Week 15 matchup against the Broncos, Sunday may have been Hills' proverbial moment in the sun for 2019, but it's also possible the Slippery Rock product continues to hold down a spot on the active roster for evaluation purposes over the final pair of games.

Austin Ekeler RB | WAS
Chargers' Austin Ekeler: Totals 81 scrimmage yards
Ekeler carried seven times for 19 yards and caught five of seven targets for an additional 62 yards during Sunday's 39-10 loss to the Vikings.
Ekeler did next to nothing on the ground, but he came through with his usual impactful performance as a receiver. He tied for second on the team in receptions while finishing third in targets and receiving yards. Ekeler is now nearing 1,400 scrimmage yards for the season and continues to thrive despite playing behind Melvin Gordon. He should be expected to get double-digit touches next Sunday against the Raiders and will look to continue his efficiency against a vulnerable defense.
-
Mike Boone RB | MIA
Vikings' Mike Boone: Scores two touchdowns vs. Chargers
Boone carried 13 times for 56 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 39-10 win over the Chargers.
With Alexander Mattison (ankle) already sidelined, Boone stepped in when Dalvin Cook left with a chest injury in the third quarter. He actually fared better than Cook did on a per-touch basis while scoring short rushing TDs on back-to-back drives in the fourth quarter. It wouldn't be entirely surprising if Cook missed time because of his injury, meaning Boone could be in line for a larger workload next Monday against the Packers if Mattison isn't active for the contest.
-
Melvin Gordon RB | BAL
Chargers' Melvin Gordon: Fumbles twice in blowout loss
Gordon carried seven times for 28 yards and caught five of seven targets for an additional 36 yards during Sunday's 39-10 loss to the Vikings. He also lost two fumbles.
Gordon's fumbles set up a pair of Minnesota scores as the Vikings built a large lead, and he appeared to be benched for a brief period of time after the second turnover. Furthermore, his workload was rather limited anyway because of the lopsided nature of the game, though he did set a new season high for receiving yards in a game. Gordon had recorded at least 80 scrimmage yards in each of the last five games and should fare better in next Sunday's home matchup against the Raiders.
-
Matt Breida RB | SF
49ers' Matt Breida: Coughs up two fumbles, loses one
Breida ran for 11 yards on four carries and lost one fumble during Sunday's 29-22 loss to the Falcons. He also caught both of his targets for six receiving yards.
Breida accounted for 15 scrimmage yards on four first-half touches, but he quickly fell out of the rotation after fumbling on consecutive third-quarter carries. The first fumble fortunately rolled out of bounds, but the second was recovered by Atlanta's De'Vondre Campbell. From that point forward the 24-year-old back was not entrusted with another offensive touch, as Raheem Mostert closed out the afternoon with 10 more rush attempts than any other San Francisco RB. Breida's role in the 49ers' ground attack is difficult to predict heading into a Week 16 matchup versus a Rams defense that entered Sunday as a top-12 unit against the run.
-
Tony Pollard RB | TEN
Cowboys' Tony Pollard: Surprising eruption for Dallas
Pollard carried the ball 12 times for 131 yards and a touchdown and caught both his targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 44-21 win over the Rams.
With Dallas leading 28-7 at halftime, Pollard saw increased opportunities in the second half and made the most of them, breaking off a 44-yard TD scamper in the fourth quarter for the Cowboys' final points. The rookie RB topped the century mark for the second time this season, and both times he's done it while Ezekiel Elliott was also compiling triple-digit rushing yards (the other game being Week 3's win over Miami). Pollard remains a risky fantasy option due to his usual low touch volume, but he remains a big-play threat for the Cowboys heading into next Sunday's crucial clash with the Eagles.
-
Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Huge game against Rams
Elliott carried the ball 24 times for 117 yards and two touchdowns and caught three of four targets for 43 yards in Sunday's 44-21 win over the Rams.
That's now back-to-back two-TD performances for Elliott, while the 160 scrimmage yards were a season high as he came through in a big way for those with fantasy shares in him. The fourth-year RB will look to keep rolling next Sunday in Philadelphia with a chance to lock up the NFC East title against an Eagles defense he gashed for 111 rushing yards and a score in Week 7.
-
Raheem Mostert RB | LV
49ers' Raheem Mostert: Spearheads backfield Week 15
Mostert ran for 54 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries while losing one fumble during Sunday's 29-22 loss to the Falcons. He also caught one of two targets for five receiving yards.
Given that San Francisco ranks second behind only Baltimore with 32.6 rush attempts per game, possessing the 49ers' top back on a fantasy roster can be extremely valuable. The challenge this season has come in identifying who coach Kyle Shanahan will deploy as the top option, but in Week 15 Mostert garnered more than 63 percent of the team's RB carries and tallied a rushing score for the second straight outing. He now has double-digit rush attempts in three consecutive appearances heading into a Week 16 matchup against a Rams defense that was torched by Dallas for 263 rush yards and three rushing TDs Sunday.
