  • Kalel Mullings RB | TEN

Titans' Kalel Mullings: Unavailable for practice

Mullings (ankle) was estimated to be a DNP on Wednesday, as the Titans held a walk-through practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Mullings was active for the team's Week 3 loss to the Colts after missing one week of action with an ankle injury. The running back has now opened this week as a nonparticipant, and he'll have two more chances to return to practice ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Texans.

  • Bhayshul Tuten RB | JAC

Jaguars' Bhayshul Tuten: Limited at practice Wednesday

Tuten (shoulder) was limited at practice Wednesday.

Per Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com, Tuten -- who was also limited at practice last week -- sported a red (non-contact) tank during Wednesday's session. The running back was able to play in Sunday's 17-10 win over the Texans, carrying six times for 21 yards and a touchdown while recording a 17 percent snap share in the contest.

  • Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet: Status in question for Thursday

Charbonnet (foot) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game at Arizona, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

After sitting out a Week 3 win against the Saints due to a foot injury, Charbonnet was listed as full on Monday's practice estimate and then was able to log every rep at Tuesday's walkthrough. Despite the lack of limitations this week, he won't escape it without a designation ahead of Week 4 action. Ultimately, Charbonnet's availability will be confirmed, one way or another, about 90 minutes before Thursday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff. He likely will resume his timeshare with fellow RB Kenneth Walker if he's active.

  • Josh Jacobs RB | GB

Packers' Josh Jacobs: Stays limited at practice

Jacobs (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday.

The Packers also capped Jacobs' practice reps last week but didn't tag him with a designation prior to this past Sunday's game at Cleveland, so he may be destined for a similar fate by the end of Week 4 prep. In Week 3, he wasn't able to get much going on the ground (16-30-0), but he turned his nine targets into five catches for 44 yards. Friday's injury report will unveil whether Jacobs heads into the weekend with a designation ahead of Sunday's contest in Dallas.

  • Giants' Tyrone Tracy: DNP on Wednesday

Tracy (shoulder) didn't take part in Wednesday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site rpeorts.

Tracy exited this past Sunday's loss to the Chiefs in the first quarter due to a shoulder injury, which was revealed to be a dislocation one day later. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Tuesday that Tracy is expected to miss 2-to-4 weeks, and the running back's absence Wednesday is the first step in advance of him getting ruled out ahead of or being inactive for Sunday's game against the Chargers. Rookie fourth-round pick Cam Skattebo figures to handle a healthy portion of the Giants' backfield reps moving forward, but Devin Singletary also is on hand for any snaps and touches that linger.

  • Commanders' Jacory Croskey-Merritt: No practice due to knee injury

Croskey-Merritt didn't practice Wednesday due to a knee injury.

In the first game without Austin Ekeler (Achilles) this past Sunday against the Raiders, Croskey-Merritt led the Commanders backfield in offensive snaps (23 of 58), followed by Chris Rodriguez (22) and Jeremy McNichols (15). Croskey-Merritt wasn't all that efficient with his touches (nine for 31 yards from scrimmage), but he salvaged his day with a rushing touchdown. Meanwhile, Rodriguez paced the team in carries (11) for 39 yards, and McNichols had four rushes for 78 yards and a TD. It's unclear if Croskey-Merrritt's status is in peril for Sunday's game in Atlanta, but his activity level, or lack thereof, bears watching as the week continues to get a sense of his odds to suit up Week 4.

  • Najee Harris RB | LAC

Chargers' Najee Harris: Officially on IR

The Chargers placed Harris (Achilles) on IR on Wednesday.

Coach John Harbaugh confirmed Monday that Harris suffered a torn Achilles during this past Sunday's win over the Broncos, and the running back will miss the remainder of the season as a result. In his absence going forward, Omarion Hampton is in line to lead the Chargers backfield, with Hassan Haskins in reserve and Kimani Vidal as well as Amar Johnson representing possible additions via the team's practice squad.

  • D'Andre Swift RB | CHI

Bears' D'Andre Swift: Dealing with hip issue

Swift was limited in practice Wednesday due to a hip injury.

After he operated with a cap on his reps last week due to a quad issue, Swift was able to suit up this past Sunday against the Cowboys and turn his 16 touches into 78 yards from scrimmage. He did cede seven touches to rookie RB Kyle Monangai, while Roschon Johnson again stuck to special teams. In any case, Swift's status will be monitored as the week continues, and Friday's practice report will reveal whether or not he enters the weekend with a designation for Sunday's game at Las Vegas.

  • Lawrance Toafili: Back with Jets

Toafili signed with the Jets' practice squad Wednesday.

The Florida State product was dropped from the Jets' practice earlier in September, but it now appears the team has had a change of heart. Toafili tallied 919 rushing yards and eight total touchdowns on 178 carries throughout his final two collegiate seasons, and he could be elevated to New York's active roster later this season if injuries arise.

  • Chiefs' Brashard Smith: Handles two carries against Giants

Smith rushed twice for 13 yards and failed to reel in his lone target in Sunday's 22-9 win over the Giants.

Smith played just eight of the Chiefs' 72 offensive snaps, well behind both Isiah Pacheco (40) and Kareem Hunt (32). The rookie running back continues to be mostly an afterthought in Kansas City's struggling offense, however the struggles of both Pacheco and Hunt could eventually lead to more playing time for the dynamic SMU product. At the moment, however, it appears the Chiefs coaching staff wants the veterans to handle the majority of the backfield work with a near even split, capping the potential upside of all three backs. Smith will look to get more involved in Week 3 when the Chiefs host the Ravens.
