Will Shipley RB | PHI
Eagles' Will Shipley: No practice Thursday
Shipley (oblique) didn't take part in practice Thursday.
Per Zach Berman of The Athletic, Shipley was present during the media-access portion of the session, but he was held out of all drills for a second day in a row due to the oblique injury that knocked him out of last Thursday's win versus the Cowboys. Another absence Friday may spur the Eagles to rule Shipley out for Week 2 action, but a listing of questionable or doubtful would keep the door ajar for active status Sunday at Kansas City. Behind No. 1 RB Saquon Barkley, AJ Dillon and recent acquisition Tank Bigsby are the backfield options on Philadelphia's active roster, while Audric Estime resides on the practice squad.

Jaylen Wright RB | MIA
Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: Officially limited Thursday
Wright (knee) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports.
Wright is practicing for the first time since he underwent a minor right knee procedure Aug. 28, so to see him handling even limited reps is encouraging. The second-year pro said Thursday that he's unsure when he'll be cleared for regular-season action, per David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel, but that "I'm doing my part to get right, and I'll be back." If he's cleared to play Sunday versus the Patriots, Wright will get a chance to compete with Ollie Gordon for depth touches behind De'Von Achane.

Roschon Johnson RB | CHI
Bears' Roschon Johnson: Limited practice Thursday
Johnson (foot) practiced on a limited basis Thursday.
After having a cap on his reps at Wednesday's walkthrough, Johnson maintained that activity level one day later as he continues his recovery from a foot injury. Friday's practice report will reveal whether the Bears give him a chance to make his season debut Sunday at Detroit or otherwise rule him out for a second consecutive contest. Whenever he's healthy enough to suit up, he'll be in the mix for RB reps along with rookie seventh-round pick Kyle Monangai behind starter D'Andre Swift.

Tyler Goodson RB | IND
Colts' Tyler Goodson: Limited again Thursday
Goodson (elbow) was limited in practice Thursday.
Goodson has been limited in practice since the start of the regular season, though he didn't gain clearance to suit up Week 1. Once ready to play, Goodson will join DJ Giddens as a depth backfield option behind starter Jonathan Taylor. His next chance to suit up will be Sunday versus the Broncos.

Quinshon Judkins RB | CLE
Browns' Quinshon Judkins: Back at practice Thursday
Judkins participated in practice Thursday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
According to Cabot, Thursday's full session marked Judkins' first practice of any kind since the Browns' mandatory minicamp in June. The running back wasn't in attendance for the team's first practice of the week Wednesday, as he traveled to Manhattan to be interviewed by league officials under the personal conduct policy. Cabot notes that Judkins won't be charged with a criminal offense stemming from his July 12 domestic battery arrest, but he could still be subject to discipline from the NFL. In terms of his availability for Sunday's game against the Ravens, offensive coordinator Tommy Rees said Thursday that the Browns are going "day-by-day" with Judkins "to see how he continues to progress in practice." The Browns were granted a two-game roster exemption for the 2025 second-round pick after he didn't sign his rookie deal with the team until this past Saturday, so he won't count toward the roster if he remains held out for the Week 2 contest.

Ty Chandler RB | MIN
Vikings' Ty Chandler: Moved to IR due to knee
Chandler (knee) was placed on injured reserve Thursday.
The kickoff return man sustained a knee injury in the season opener against Chicago and will be out through Minnesota's Week 6 bye as a result of Thursday's move. Rookies Myles Price (knee) and Tai Felton are the top candidates to return kicks in Chandler's absence, with Price favored to get those opportunities if healthy after a strong debut on special teams.

James Cook RB | BUF
Bills' James Cook: Full participant Thursday
Cook (hamstring) was listed as a full participant in Thursday's walk-through.
Cook was limited by a hamstring injury Wednesday, but Thursday's full participation listing suggests he isn't in any danger of sitting out against the Jets in Week 2. In the Bills' season-opening win over Baltimore, Cook turned 18 touches into 102 scrimmage yards and a touchdown while Ray Davis and Ty Johnson combined for 25 yards on four touches.

Jaylen Wright RB | MIA
Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: Spotted at practice Thursday
Wright (knee) is participating in the early portion of Thursday's practice open to the media, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Wright's participation level for Thursday is still to be determined, but he could be in line to upgrade to 'limited' activity for the first time since undergoing right knee surgery late August. The second-year pro was sidelined Week 1 and is working to gain clearance in time for Sunday's divisional matchup against New England.

Zavier Scott RB | MIN
Vikings' Zavier Scott: Deemed full practice participant
Scott (ankle) was estimated as a full participant in Wednesday's practice walkthrough.
Scott suffered an ankle injury in Minnesota's final preseason contest Aug. 22 and didn't play in Week 1 versus Chicago. However, he appears to be past the ankle issue given his estimation as a full participant Wednesday. If Scott is able to play Sunday against Atlanta, he'll likely be Minnesota's No. 3 RB since Ty Chandler isn't expected to play due to a knee injury.

Jordan James RB | SF
49ers' Jordan James: Limited at practice
James (finger) was a limited participant at practice Wednesday, Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
James was once again limited at practice to open the week as he continues to recover from a broken finger that he suffered in early August. The 21-year-old will have two more opportunities to log a full practice before Sunday's contest against the Saints.
