  • Jordan Mims RB | TEN

Jordan Mims: Goes back to practice squad

Mims reverted to Tennessee's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Mims was elevated for Week 2 against the Rams and logged nine special-teams snaps, recording one tackle. Mims' likelihood of being elevated again for Week 3 may hinge on whether Kalel Mullings (ankle) is able to suit up.

  • Jeff Wilson RB | MIA

Jeff Wilson: Back to practice squad

Wilson reverted to the Dolphins' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction report.

Wilson was elevated to the Dolphins' active roster for a second straight week but saw minimal work on special teams during Sunday's 33-27 loss to the Patriots. The veteran running back is eligible to be elevated from the practice squad one more time, at which point the Dolphins would have to sign Wilson to the active roster in order for him to be available for the rest of the season.

  • Adam Prentice FB | DEN

Adam Prentice: Reverts to practice squad

Prentice reverted to Denver's practice squad Monday.

Prentice saw playing time on both offense and special teams but failed to record any stats during Sunday's loss versus the Colts. He also played in the team's Week 1 win over the Titans and could be called up once again for next week's matchup versus the Chargers

  • Ulysses Bentley: Reverts to practice squad

Bentley reverted to the Colts' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Bentley was active for Sunday's Week 2 win over the Broncos but didn't see any action in the contest. He's been elevated ahead of each of Indianapolis' first two games but has yet to register an offensive touch.

  • Jarquez Hunter RB | LAR

Rams' Jarquez Hunter: Makes debut on special teams

Hunter logged six snaps on special teams during Sunday's 33-19 win against the Titans.

Hunter made his regular-season debut Sunday after being a healthy scratch in Week 1, but he never got an opportunity to take the field on offense. Kyren Williams (17-66-0) and Blake Corum (5-44-1) handled the entire rushing load for the Rams, and given head coach Sean McVay's proclivity to feed Williams the vast majority of touches at running back over the past few seasons, Hunter will likely find it hard to make an impact this year barring an injury ahead of him on the depth chart.

  • Blake Corum RB | LAR

Rams' Blake Corum: Scores on goal-line run

Corum rushed five times for 44 yards and a touchdown and returned three kicks for 80 yards during Sunday's 33-19 victory against the Titans.

Corum's first career touchdown in the NFL came on a one-yard rush, pushing his way into the end zone to solidify an already productive day for the former third-round pick. He picked up big yardage on most of his other runs, including a 15-yard scamper in the third quarter that set up a Davis Allen touchdown on the next play. Corum was on the field for 18 snaps on offense, a significant boost from last week's 10, and Kyren Williams struggled for the second straight week, managing just 66 yards rushing on 17 attempts. It'll be worth monitoring the snap counts of the duo as the season progresses, especially if Williams continues to be inefficient as a runner.

  • Jaylen Wright RB | MIA

Dolphins' Jaylen Wright: Estimated as limited Monday

Wright (knee) was listed as limited on Monday's practice estimate, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.

Wright has missed the Dolphins' first two games, but after logging limited practices this past Thursday and Friday, and maintaining that level on Monday's estimate, the running back appears to be inching closer toward a return to action. Whether he makes his season debut Thursday against the Bills or Week 4 against the Jets, Wright is destined for a complementary role behind lead back De'Von Achane.

  • Buccaneers' Josh Williams: Won't play Week 2

Williams (coach's decision) is inactive for Monday's game against the Texans, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

Williams will be in street clothes for a second straight week. It appears the undrafted rookie is unlikely to be active for gameday unless Bucky Irving, Rachaad White or Sean Tucker were to miss time due to injury, illness or suspension. Williams put together a nice preseason, finishing with 13 carries for 49 yards and two catches on as many targets for 16 yards across two games.

  • Dameon Pierce RB | PHI

Texans' Dameon Pierce: Inactive for MNF

Pierce is inactive for Monday night's game against the Buccaneers.

With Pierce a healthy scratch, Dare Ogunbowale, Woody Marks and British Brooks are available to work behind Nick Chubb in the Texans' Week 2 backfield. In Houston's season-opening 14-9 loss to the Rams, Pierce logged just seven snaps on offense en route to carrying three times for five yards and not hauling in his only target.

  • Dameon Pierce RB | PHI

Texans' Dameon Pierce: Expected to be inactive for MNF

Pierce is expected to be a healthy scratch for Monday's game against the Buccaneers, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Pierce played just 12 percent of the offensive snaps Week 1, rushing three times for five yards while failing to catch his only target, and he's now expected to be held out entirely Week 2. That would pave the way for British Brooks to be active versus Tampa Bay, joining Dare Ogunbowale as depth backfield options behind Nick Chubb, with Joe Mixon (foot) still on the reserve/non-football injury list. The Texans will make Pierce's status official about 90 minutes ahead of Monday's 7:00 p.m. ET kickoff.
