  • Zamir White RB | LV

Raiders' Zamir White: Won't return in Week 14

White (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Sunday's contest at Tampa Bay, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

White thus will miss a third game in a row due to a quad injury, while fellow RB Alexander Mattison (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 14 action. If Mattison gains active status Sunday, he would mix into the backfield along with Ameer Abdullah and Sincere McCormick. Meanwhile, White's next chance for game action is Monday, Dec. 16 against the Falcons.

  • Packers' Chris Brooks: Role remains consistent

Brooks had one carry for three yards in Thursday's 34-31 loss to the Lions.

The Packers leaned heavily on starting running back Josh Jacobs again, and both Brooks and fellow reserve Emanuel Wilson finished with only one carry apiece. Brooks and Wilson continue seeing a similar number of touches, but Brooks has been spending more time on the field, out-snapping Wilson in six straight contests -- and quite comfortably in each of the last four.

  • Raiders' Alexander Mattison: Questionable for Sunday

Mattison (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Tampa Bay, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.

For a second straight week, Mattison has operated with a cap on his reps and ended it as questionable to suit up. He ultimately was inactive last Friday at Kansas City, but if he returns this weekend there's a chance he'll retake control of the Raiders backfield from Ameer Abdullah and Sincere McCormick, with Zamir White (quadriceps) still sidelined.

  • Emanuel Wilson RB | SEA

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Opportunities remain minimal

Wilson had one carry for seven yards in Thursday's 34-31 loss to the Lions.

Wilson was the second Packers running back to get the ball in Thursday's contest, but both he and Chris Brooks were used sparingly with Josh Jacobs dominating the work out of the backfield. Wilson and Brooks are both handling a similar workload, but Wilson's snaps have paled in comparison to his counterpart's in recent weeks, and Brooks has spent more time on the field in six straight games.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Listed as questionable

Walker (ankle/calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Arizona, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.

More information should be available after the Seahawks finish Friday's practice and coach Mike Macdonald speaks to the media. Walker was a limited practice participant Wednesday and a non-participant Thursday, with the downgrade leading to concern about his availability for a key NFC West matchup. Fellow Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet took on huge workloads earlier this season when Walker missed a couple games with a groin/abdominal injury.

  • Bucky Irving RB | TB

Buccaneers' Bucky Irving: Questionable for Week 14

Irving (hip) was a limited practice participant Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

A return to practice at the end of the week improves Irving's chances of playing, but the Buccaneers aren't ready to commit to it two days before the game. A 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff is good news for Irving's fantasy managers, leaving plenty of replacement options if he's declared inactive or reports suggest his role will be scaled back. Any lost work for Irving figures to go to Rachaad White and Sean Tucker, with the former in particular making for a strong fantasy start in the event Irving is inactive.

  • Saints' Kendre Miller: Expected to play Week 14

Saints interim head coach Darren Rizzi said Friday he expects Miller (hamstring) to come off IR in time for Sunday's game against the Giants, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Miller had his practice window opened Wednesday, and while he may officially be listed as questionable for Sunday's road game against New York, it sounds like the second-year pro is on track to be activated from IR and retake the field. If Miller indeed gets back on the active roster in time to suit up Week 14, he may get a chance to compete with Jamaal Williams for backup reps behind starter Alvin Kamara.

  • Bears' Roschon Johnson: Ruled out for Week 14

Johnson (concussion) is ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers.

Johnson remains in the concussion protocol and hasn't yet practiced in any capacity. His next chance to suit up will come Week 15 against the Vikings, but Johnson will need to gain full clearance from the concussion protocol in order to do so. With Johnson sidelined and D'Andre Swift (quadriceps) listed as questionable for Sunday's road matchup, Travis Homer and practice-squad member Darrynton Evans could be in line to handle key backfield roles for Chicago.

  • Darrynton Evans: Elevation candidate with RBs hurt

Evans is a candidate to be elevated from Chicago's practice squad prior to Sunday's game against the 49ers, as D'Andre Swift (quad) is listed as questionable while Roschon Johnson (concussion) has been ruled out.

The Bears also have Travis Homer on the roster, but Homer has been deployed mostly in a pass-catching capacity throughout his career, so Evans could see some run on early downs, especially if Swift is limited or unavailable. Swift was a limited participant in practice Friday after sitting out both Wednesday and Thursday. Evans dressed for 19 regular-season games spanning 2020-2023, with 11 of those appearances coming with the Bears.

  • Travis Homer RB | PIT

Bears' Travis Homer: Could step up with other RBs hurt

Homer could take on a larger role Sunday against the 49ers, as D'Andre Swift (quad) is listed as questionable while Roschon Johnson (concussion) has been ruled out.

Even if Swift suits up, Homer would be in line to step into a larger change-of-pace role, though the Bears also could call up Darrynton Evans from the practice squad. Most of Homer's usage likely will come in passing situations, as his career rushing (469) and receiving yard (464) totals are nearly identical.
