Christian McCaffrey RB | SF
49ers' Christian McCaffrey: Goes on IR
The 49ers placed McCaffrey (knee) on injured reserve Tuesday.
Just as head coach Kyle Shanahan suggested Monday would be the case, McCaffrey was moved off the 53-man roster after the running back suffered a PCL sprain in his right knee during Sunday's 35-10 loss to the Bills. Shanahan said that McCaffrey will likely need around six weeks to recover from the injury, so he'll miss the rest of the regular season and may return to action only if the 5-7 49ers make a surprise playoff run. McCaffrey should be back to full strength for the offseason program and will be entering the final guaranteed year of his contract in 2025. After spending the first nine weeks of the season on IR while recovering from a calf strain and bilateral Achilles tendinitis, McCaffrey appeared in just four games in 2024, failing to score a touchdown while carrying 50 times for 202 yards and recording 15 receptions for 146 yards on 19 targets.

Elijah Dotson RB | ATL
Elijah Dotson: Headed to Atlanta
The Falcons signed Dotson to the practice squad Tuesday, Terrin Waack of the team's official site reports.
Dotson was unable to make the Chargers' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but he will head to Atlanta and be available to provide depth at running back if needed on game day. Dotson appeared in four regular-season games for the Chargers in 2023 and turned four carries into six yards while adding two catches on as many targets for 13 yards.

Josh Jacobs RB | GB
Packers' Josh Jacobs: Puts in limited practice
Jacobs (calf) was a limited practice participant Tuesday.
The Packers have listed Jacobs as a limited participant on both of their first two Week 14 injury reports, but head coach Matt LaFleur hasn't offered any indications that the star running back is at risk of missing Thursday's game at Detroit. Jacobs could just be getting some extra maintenance for his calf after logging at least 15 touches in each of Green Bay's last eight games.

Sincere McCormick RB | SF
Raiders' Sincere McCormick: Gets roster spot
The Raiders signed McCormick off their practice squad Tuesday.
Wide receiver DJ Turner (knee) was placed on injured reserve to open up a spot on the 53-man roster for McCormick, an undrafted rookie out of UTSA who had already exhausted his three practice-squad elevations. With Alexander Mattison (ankle) and Zamir White (quadricep) both sidelined for Las Vegas' past two games, McCormick operated as the No. 2 back behind Ameer Abdullah for both contests, carrying 17 times for 97 yards (5.7 YPC) and recording two catches for one yard. Though Mattison and White could both be available for this Sunday's game at Tampa Bay, neither player has been efficient with his opportunities this season, so McCormick could continue to have a role out of the backfield.

Tyler Allgeier RB | ARI
Falcons' Tyler Allgeier: Modest production in loss
Allgeier rushed eight times for 16 yards and caught his only target for six yards during Sunday's 17-13 loss to the Chargers.
Allgeier couldn't find any room to operate, and the Falcons' offense as a whole struggled to move the ball consistently. The third-year running back has totaled 50 scrimmage yards in four games this season, but his production has been sporadic as a backup. Allgeier remains a valuable insurance piece for those rostering Bijan Robinson, but the former doesn't have much standalone value.

Audric Estime RB | NO
Broncos' Audric Estime: Three carries in Week 13
Estime rushed three times for 12 yards in Monday's 41-32 win over the Browns.
Estime played just eight of the Broncos' 66 offensive snaps, behind teammates Javonte Williams (30) and Jaleel McLaughlin (24). With head coach Sean Payton allowing for a more fluid rotation in the Denver backfield from week to week, Estime appears to be the odd man out recently, handling just 12 total carries over the past three games. With such limited usage, Estime should remain off the fantasy radar going forward barring injuries to either Williams or McLaughlin. The Broncos will host the Colts on Dec. 15 when they return from their Week 14 bye.

Javonte Williams RB | DAL
Broncos' Javonte Williams: Finds end zone on limited touches
Williams rushed four times for one yard and a touchdown while catching one of two targets for three yards in Monday's 41-32 win over the Browns
Javonte played 30 of the Broncos' 66 offensive snaps Monday, ahead of both Jaleel McLaughlin (24) and Audric Estime (8). Despite seeing the most playing time of the group, Williams saw fewer touches than McLaughlin, who finished the game with 14 carries for 84 yards. A complete disaster was avoided when the 24-year-old Williams was able to score his fourth touchdown of the season on a two-yard run in the first quarter. It appears head coach Sean Payton is committed to using a hot-hand approach with Denver's backfield, so fantasy managers may want to avoid the entire situation down the stretch. The Broncos will host the Colts on Dec. 15 following their Week 14 bye.

Jerome Ford RB | WAS
Browns' Jerome Ford: Gains 62 yards on 10 touches
Ford rushed nine times for 41 yards while catching his lone target for 21 yards in Monday's 41-32 loss to Denver.
Ford finished as the Browns' leading rusher while tying starter Nick Chubb in carries. The latter benefited from a receiving touchdown late in Monday's defeat, but Ford got extra run in the second half with the Browns playing from behind in the high-scoring affair. Ford has been getting enough work to warrant consideration in deeper formats ahead of Sunday's rematch against the Steelers (20-59-2 versus PIT in Week 12).

Jaleel McLaughlin RB | DEN
Broncos' Jaleel McLaughlin: Receives starter's workload Monday
McLaughlin rushed 14 times for 84 yards while catching one of two targets for no gain in Monday's 41-32 win over Cleveland.
McLaughlin received 10 more carries than any teammate in Monday's primetime matchup. This comes on the heels of the second-year pro leading Denver in rushing yards a week prior. Audric Estime remained in the mix with three carries for 12 yards, but Javonte Williams had the worst rushing day of the trio despite punching in a short touchdown. McLaughlin handled the increased workload in stride, making him a potential hot pickup coming out of the Broncos' upcoming bye week.

Nick Chubb RB | HOU
Browns' Nick Chubb: Records receiving TD in loss
Chubb rushed nine times for 21 yards and secured both targets for 24 yards and a touchdown in the Browns' 41-32 loss to the Broncos on Monday night.
Chubb and Jerome Ford both logged the same number of carries, but the latter recorded 20 more rushing yards. However, Chubb was the only one of the two that got into the end zone, as he recorded a five-yard scoring grab with just under nine minutes remaining to erase a 31-25 deficit. The touchdown was Chubb's first through the air since Week 18 of the 2022 season and fourth overall since making his Week 7 season debut. Chubb will look to hit paydirt again Week 14 versus a Steelers squad that he tallied a pair of rush TDs against Week 12.
