Ezekiel Elliott RB | LAC
Patriots' Ezekiel Elliott: Excels in versatile role Thursday
Elliott rushed 22 times for 68 yards and brought in seven of eight targets for 72 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' 21-18 win over the Steelers on Thursday night.
With Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) sidelined, Elliott had the Patriots' ground game all to himself, but it was his work as a pass catcher that really stood out. The veteran back led the Patriots in receptions and targets as Bailey Zappe utilized him heavily in the pass game, and Elliott recorded his first receiving touchdown since Week 16 of the 2021 season on an 11-yard grab to cap off New England's game-opening drive. Elliott also shouldered his heaviest workload on the ground since Week 5 of last season, when he logged the same number of carries with the Cowboys in a game against the Rams. Given his volume in the first installment of what's projected to be a multi-game absence for Stevenson, Elliott has solid fantasy prospects heading into a Week 15 home matchup against the Chiefs on Sunday, Dec. 17.

Zach Charbonnet RB | SEA
Seahawks' Zach Charbonnet: Gets back to limited Thursday
Charbonnet (knee) was a limited practice participant Thursday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Both Charbonnet and fellow RB Kenneth Walker (oblique) followed up no activity Wednesday with capped sessions one day later, giving them chances to be available Sunday at San Francisco. Charbonnet took on lead duties out of Seattle's backfield the last two games with Walker sidelined, but the rookie second-rounder also suffered a bruised knee in the fourth quarter last Thursday in Dallas. If either player is limited or out this weekend, there's a chance the Seahawks turn to DeeJay Dallas as their main running back.

Kenneth Walker III RB | KC
Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Returns to limited practice
Walker (oblique) practiced in a limited capacity Thursday, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
The same can be said for No. 2 running back Zach Charbonnet (knee), meaning Friday's session will be key for both players as the Seahawks prepare for Sunday's visit to the 49ers. Walker has missed two straight games due to a strained oblique, and while Charbonnet has been filling in for him, he sustained a bruised knee in the fourth quarter last Thursday at Dallas. Walker's upcoming workload, if he's active, may be contingent on Charbonnet's availability, but if both are inhibited or sidelined, DeeJay Dallas could be the Seahawks' primary runner this weekend.

JaMycal Hasty RB | NE
Patriots' JaMycal Hasty: Inactive Thursday
Hasty (coach's decision) is inactive for Thursday night's game against the Steelers, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Hasty appeared to have a chance to play with Rhamondre Stevenson out with an ankle injury, but instead he is a healthy scratch for the second week in a row. The running back signed with New England in Week 13 after being let go by the Jaguars on Nov. 11. The fourth-year pro did not carry the ball on six offensive snaps with Jacksonville.

Elijah Mitchell RB | NE
49ers' Elijah Mitchell: No practice Thursday
Mitchell (knee) didn't practice Thursday, Josh Dubow of The Associated Press reports.
Per Matt Barrows of The Athletic, Mitchell was seen working out on the side during the portion of Thursday's session open to media. However, Mitchell received the same listing as he did one day earlier, giving him only one more opportunity to mix into practice this week. Friday's injury could be telling for his potential to suit up Sunday against the Seahawks.

Najee Harris RB | LAC
Steelers' Najee Harris: Suits up Thursday
Harris (knee) is listed as active for Thursday night's game against the Patriots.
Harris, who is managing a knee issue, was listed as a non-participant on practice reports Tuesday and Wednesday before being deemed questionable ahead of Thursday's contest. With the running back's active status versus New England confirmed, Harris will have an opportunity to continue to pace the Steelers backfield in Week 14. However, if he ends limited at all or encounters any setbacks with his knee, Jaylen Warren is available to pick up added backfield touches. In Pittsburgh's 24-10 loss to Arizona this past Sunday, Harris carried 16 times for 63 yards and added two catches (on three targets) for 14 yards, while Warren rushed nine times for 59 yards and caught one pass for minus-4 yards.

Kene Nwangwu RB | NYJ
Vikings' Kene Nwangwu: Making progress through protocol
Nwangwu (concussion) logged a full practice, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
Nwangwu was a limited participant Wednesday and took another meaningful step forward in the five-step concussion protocol Thursday by advancing to full activity. He'll still need to gain clearance from an independent neurologist before he's removed the protocol, but Nwangwu seemingly has a good chance of being available for Sunday's game against the Raiders if he avoids any setbacks in the next few days. If he's cleared to play this weekend, Nwangwu would serve as the team's top kickoff returner in addition to his duties as a depth option behind running backs Alexander Mattison and Ty Chandler.

Kevin Harris RB | JAC
Patriots' Kevin Harris: Up from practice squad
Harris has been elevated to the Patriots' active roster from the practice squad ahead of Thursday night's game against the Steelers, Evan Lazar of the team's official site reports.
With Rhamondre Stevenson (ankle) out Thursday, Harris provides the Patriots with added Week 14 backfield depth behind Ezekiel Elliott, who is expected to be featured against Pittsburgh in Stevenson's absence. Harris appeared in five games with the Patriots last season but has yet to make his regular-season debut with the team in 2023.
-
Jerick McKinnon RB | KC
Chiefs' Jerick McKinnon: Puts in full practice
McKinnon (groin) was a full practice participant Thursday, Matt McMullen of the Chiefs' official site reports.
McKinnon was sidelined for the Chiefs' past two games, but after following up a limited practice Wednesday with a full session Thursday, he's poised to return to the lineup Sunday against the Bills. When available, McKinnon has typically served mostly as a passing-down back, but he could carve out a larger role on the ground along with Clyde Edwards-Helaire if lead back Isiah Pacheco isn't available this weekend. Pacheco has missed the Chiefs' first two Week 14 practices with a shoulder contusion.

Raheem Mostert RB | LV
Dolphins' Raheem Mostert: Gets maintenance day Thursday
Mostert (knee/rest) was a non-participant in Thursday's practice.
Along with Mostert, wide receiver Tyreek Hill (ankle) and offensive tackle Kendall Lamm (back) had "vet rest" attributed to their absences from practice along with their listed injuries, so it's safe to conclude that all three were mainly held out for maintenance purposes more so than because of any concern about their health. Mostert has been a fixture on Miami injury reports this season but has yet to miss a game, and he's logged more than 50 percent of the offensive snaps in all but two of his 12 appearances. He took on a season-low 39 percent share in this past weekend's 45-15 win over the Commanders, though that may have largely been a byproduct of Miami racing out to a 24-point halftime lead.
