Parker Hesse TE | DET
Parker Hesse: Waived by Atlanta
Hesse was waived by Atlanta on Monday, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Hesse appeared in each of the last four games and secured both of his targets for 12 yards. However, he'll now be let go after Hayden Hurst (ankle) was designated to return from injured reserve Monday.

Darren Waller TE | MIA
Raiders' Darren Waller: Deemed day-to-day
Raiders interim coach Rich Bisaccia labeled Waller (knee/back) as day-to-day Monday, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
The day-to-day label is a notable change for Waller, whom Bisaccia characterized as week-to-week with the pair of injuries when he met with the media seven days ago. Waller ultimately sat out Sunday's 17-15 loss to Washington after failing to practice last week, but he looks like he'll have a chance at making it back to the lineup for the Raiders' Week 14 game in Kansas City. Waller's availability against the Chiefs likely will hinge on what he's able to do on the practice field Wednesday through Friday.

Hayden Hurst TE | LAC
Falcons' Hayden Hurst: Back at practice
Atlanta designated Hurst (ankle) for return from injured reserve Monday, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
The transaction opens up a 21-day window for the Falcons to evaluate Hurst in practice, but Atlanta's decision to waive reserve tight end Parker Hesse on Monday is a strong hint that the Falcons are expecting Hurst to rejoin the 53-man roster in advance of their Week 14 game in Carolina. Before missing Atlanta's last three contests with the ankle injury, Hurst had suited up in each of the team's first nine games of the season, recording 20 receptions for 158 yards and a touchdown on 25 targets.

Harrison Bryant TE | SEA
Browns' Harrison Bryant: May move to IR
Bryant's high ankle sprain may still be a ways away from healing, as head coach Kevin Stefanski said it was "to be determined," when asked whether the tight end would need to go on injured reserve Monday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Bryant suffered the injury in the Browns' Week 12 loss to the Ravens. Although he's listed as third on the positional depth chart, the Browns' tendency to feature the position consistently leaves Bryant as a steady contributor on offense. If Bryant isn't able to play Sunday in a rematch with the Ravens, it's hard to say who will step up, as No. 4 tight end, Stephen Carlson, was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.

Logan Thomas TE | SF
Football Team's Logan Thomas: Still undergoing tests
Thomas underwent an MRI on his left knee Monday that came back better than the team had hoped, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
Although Washington initially believed that Thomas tore his ACL and MCL in Sunday's win over the Raiders, his initial MRI revealed that he didn't suffer an ACL tear. The 30-year-old will undergo further testing to help determine his diagnosis and still appears likely to miss time, but his early test results are slightly encouraging.

Hayden Hurst TE | LAC
Falcons' Hayden Hurst: Nearing return to practice
Coach Arthur Smith indicated Monday that Hurst (ankle) could return to practice this week, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.
Hurst has been on injured reserve for each of the last three games, but he's now back at the team facility. If the 28-year-old ultimately is able to resume practicing this week, he'll have a chance to play Sunday against Carolina.

Will Dissly TE | LAC
Seahawks' Will Dissly: Snares two passes
Dissly caught both of his targets for seven yards in Sunday's 30-23 win over the 49ers.
Dissly played 31 snaps (46 percent), marking his fourth straight game with less than a 53 percent snap share. Meanwhile, Gerald Everett has logged a 75 percent snap share or better in each of those games. Dissly is mostly being utilized as a run blocker in offensive coordinator Shane Waldron's offense, evidenced by his 17-182-1 line through 12 games.
-
Gerald Everett TE | CHI
Seahawks' Gerald Everett: Notches just seven yards
Everett caught four of six targets for seven yards in Sunday's 30-23 win over the 49ers.
Everett wasn't efficient with his targets Sunday. Still, the fifth-year tight end has logged at least 75 percent of the offensive snaps in four straight games while Will Dissly hasn't handled more than 53 percent of the snaps in that stretch. It's clear who the No. 1 tight end is in Seattle. Nevertheless, Everett is averaging just 27.9 yards per game with two total touchdowns this year.

Stephen Carlson TE | CHI
Browns' Stephen Carlson: Placed on COVID-19 list
Carlson (knee) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.
It's not yet clear whether Carlson has tested positive for the virus or whether he's considered a close contact. However, Monday's move doesn't impact the 24-year-old's status since he underwent season-ending knee surgery in mid-August.
