Akins (concussion) is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Jaguars.

The 28-year-old practiced as a limited participant Thursday and Friday and received the questionable tag, but he won't be available Sunday after suffering the concussion last week. Akins will need to fully clear the concussion protocol before returning to game action. Darren Fells will work as Houston's top tight end in his place versus the Jags.

Gentry (coach's decision) is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Eagles, Brooke Pryor of ESPN reports.

This news isn't quite surprising, as the 24-year-old has yet to be active for any game this season. Last season, Gentry had a similar role with the Steelers, only catching one pass for four yards across four games. Barring any injuries to the Steelers' tight end room, don't expect anything fantasy-wise from Gentry this campaign.

Daniels (thigh) is active for Sunday's matchup against the Jets.

Daniels has played at least 47 percent of the offensive snaps in each of the last three games, serving mostly in a run-blocking role. He has hauled in two passes for 24 yards as well. Expect him to operate in a similar fashion Sunday.

Andrews (thigh) is expected to play Sunday against the Bengals, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Andrews was added to the injury report Thursday with the thigh issue and was a limited practice participant before being listed as questionable, but it appears the injury won't impact his availability for Week 5. The 24-year-old has caught 12 of 20 targets for 166 yards and four touchdowns through the first four games of the season.

Fant (ankle) was ruled out ahead of Monday's contest against the Patriots, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.

This comes as little surprise considering Fant has been unable to practice all week. Coach Vic Fangio previously stated the second-year tight end is likely week-to-week after injuring his ankle in last Thursday's win over the Jets, although that timeline wasn't supposed to kickstart until Week 6, when the Broncos take on the Dolphins.

Njoku (knee) was activated from injured reserve Saturday.

As expected, Njoku was activated off injured reserve following a three-week absence due to a sprained MCL. Austin Hooper and Harrison Bryant still figure to factor into the offense somewhat, so it might be hard for the 2017 first-round pick to really assert himself from a fantasy perspective, especially in a difficult matchup against the Ravens.

Daniels (thigh) is questionable for Sunday's game versus the Jets, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Daniels was a full participant in Friday's practice but hasn't been cleared to return to action yet. The 24-year-old tight end has handled a consistent blocking role in Arizona's offense, but if he's forced to miss any time, expect Jordan Thomas to receive more reps behind Dan Arnold.

Akins (concussion/ankle) was limited during Friday's practice and is considered questionable for Sunday's game versus the Jaguars.

While it's encouraging that Akins was able to log two straight limited sessions to close out the week, he still has to clear the league's concussion protocol to suit up Sunday. If Akins is unable to play, expect Darren Fells to operate as the No. 1 tight end, while Pharaoh Brown could rotate in at the position.

Dissly (Achilles) doesnt' have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Vikings, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

The 24-year-old was a limited practice participant to start the week due to the Achilles issue, but he'll continue to play through the injury. Dissly has caught all seven targets for 37 yards through four games.

Waller (knee) won't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Chiefs.

Despite having his reps capped in practice all week due to the knee issue, Waller showed enough in his limited session for the Raiders to clear him for the Week 5 divisional matchup. The tight end already has two double-digit target games under his belt this season and should remain Las Vegas' top option in the passing game Sunday, even with rookie wideout Henry Ruggs (knee/hamstring) potentially returning from a two-game absence.
