Kroft did not receive a target for the second straight week during Sunday's win over Miami.

Kroft has been a bust free-agent signing for the team since he came over from Cincinnati prior to the 2019 season, at least in terms of offensive production, as he's only caught more than one pass in a game a single time in 14 games as a Bill (including the postseason). If we're looking for good news, Kroft did see action on 31 offensive snaps, up from just four in Week 1. That's because starter Dawson Knox left the game with a concussion. If Knox can't get through the protocol in time for the Week 3 contest against the Rams, Kroft would be in line for more offensive snaps once again.

Waller caught 12 of 16 targets for 103 yards and a touchdown in Monday night's 34-24 win over the Saints.

Waller tormented New Orleans all night, as Las Vegas took full advantage of the mismatches he created in different parts of the field. He repeatedly helped the Raiders move the sticks, coming close to a career high in receptions. In the end, Waller comfortably led his team in all major receiving categories, with his one-yard touchdown grab on fourth down marking a key play in the second half. After such a dominating display, Waller will hope to keep his momentum going Week 3 against the Patriots.

With C.J. Uzomah out for the season, Sample is in line for a permanent role at tight end with the Bengals, sharing the snaps with Cethan Carter and Mason Schreck.

It was a bit of a surprise that the Bengals took Sample in the second round last season, especially as he had little in the way of receiving history at the University of Washington. Now with Uzomah out, Sample has been thrust into a prominent role as a check-down option for Joe Burrow beginning with a matchup against the Eagles, which just gave up three touchdowns to the Rams' Tyler Higbee last week.

Andrews caught one pass for 29 yards on three targets Sunday against the Texans.

It was a quiet outing from Andrews after his strong showing in the season opener. He played just 58 percent of the snaps (38 total), a significant drop-off from the 71 percent he played Week 1. His target volume dropped down to just three, which was his lowest count since Week 14 of 2019. Andrews figures to be more involved Week 3 against the Chiefs.

Smith had one reception for three yards on four targets in Sunday's loss at Indianapolis.

Smith (34 snaps) for a second consecutive week played about an email amount of plays as Kyle Rudolph (39 snaps) and saw an increase in targets from one last week. However, Kirk Cousins (just a 15.9 NFL passer rating) and the Vikings passing game couldn't get anything going, so it's hard to read too much into Smith's performance. Smith still could emerge as the second or third option in the passing attack, but the offense and team has many issues to solve after two lopsided losses.

Sternberger was targeted once but did not catch a pass in Sunday's victory over the Lions.

Sternberger received a few extra snaps Sunday with fellow tight end Josiah Deguara (shin) sidelined, but he could not capitalize on the added opportunities, dropping his only official target and also dropping another pass on a play that was nullified by a penalty. He is listed third alongside Deguara on the Packers' depth chart, but after two weeks Sternberger is seemingly the fourth option among the team's tight ends.

Lewis had one reception for four yards in Sunday's victory over the Lions.

Lewis started for the second time in as many weeks, and although he made more of an impact than he did Week 1 he still barely registered in the box score. He's played 43 percent of the snaps through two weeks and should continue filling a regular role, but with just one target thus far the veteran isn't active enough in the passing game to draw interest from fantasy players.

Everett played 30 offensive snaps but didn't receive a target and only ran eight routes during Sunday's 37-19 win over the Eagles.

After missing practice time this week and being questionable ahead of Sunday's contest with a back injury, it wasn't surprising to see Everett have a quiet showing against the Eagles. However, after fellow tight end Tyler Higbee erupted for three touchdowns and caught all five of his targets Sunday, Everett's fantasy stock is probably trending even further in the wrong direction.

James logged 30 offensive snaps during Sunday's 42-21 loss to the Packers.

James again significantly trailed T.J. Hockenson in playing time, and the blocking specialist didn't see a pass thrown his way for the second consecutive week despite the continued absence of Kenny Golladay (hamstring). Don't expect James to see a spike in passing-game involvement anytime soon.

Hockenson caught four of four targets for 62 yards during Sunday's 42-21 loss to the Packers.

The absences of Kenny Golladay (hamstring) and Halapoulivaati Vaitai (foot) seem to have thrown a wrench in the Lions' offensive plans. While Hockenson has secured all nine of the passes sent his way through two weeks, he's only seen one target in the red zone, and his overall upside is likely capped as long as the Lions offense continues to struggle. If Golladay, in particular, remains out Week 3, expectations for Hockenson should remain capped despite a seemingly inviting matchup with the Cardinals. Even though the Arizona defense was notoriously poor at defending tight ends in 2019, the retooled unit has only allowed 11 receptions for 84 yards and no scores through two weeks.
