Moreau caught two of three targets for 24 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 42-24 loss to the Packers.

Moreau scored Oakland's first touchdown of the day on a 10-yard connection from quarterback Derek Carr, but fellow tight end Darren Waller would go on to rack up seven catches on eight targets for 126 yards and a pair of his own scores as he led the team in receiving by a wide margin. Moreau has logged at least 31 offensive snaps in three consecutive games, finding the end zone in two of those contests. With Tyrell Williams' (foot) absence potentially extending into Week 8, Moreau could continue to see additional opportunities in the passing game.

Thomas logged 12 offensive snaps during Sunday's 42-30 loss to Minnesota.

Thomas appeared on the injury report last week due to a shoulder issue, but the fact he played Sunday confirms he wasn't dealing with a significant injury.

James caught one of four targets for seven yards during Sunday's 42-30 loss to Minnesota.

Another week, and another game where James has done his best work as a blocker despite matching his season high in targets. Rookie T.J. Hockenson remains the upside play among Detroit's tight ends.

Hockenson caught three of five targets for 32 yards during Sunday's 42-30 loss to the Vikings.

Hockenson had his highs and lows in this one. After seeming to struggle as a blocker early on, the rookie later made a nice block downfield to spring Marvin Jones into the end zone. Hockenson also seemed to stop early on a couple of routes as a pass catcher, but he was also missed by quarterback Matthew Stafford on a play where the tight end had gotten open in the end zone. While it was altogether another disappointing fantasy performance from the first-round pick, there's upside in rostering him Week 8 against a Giants defense that has allowed the eighth-highest completion rate to opposing passers in 2019.

Gesicki caught all four of his targets for 41 yards during Sunday's loss to the Bills.

Gesicki now has logged two consecutive solid performances, having caught three passes for a career-high 51 yards Week 6. While the second-year pro's production isn't yet at a level that would have managers consider him as a weekly fantasy option, his 6-foot-6, 250-pound frame could eventually make him a quality red-zone threat.

Firkser hauled in his lone target for 27 yards in Week 7 against the Chargers.

Firkser converted his only reception in the midst of an 85-yard touchdown drive, a key play that brought the team into scoring position. However, it was just his second reception of the season. Firkser has consistently been outsnapped by Jonnu Smith, Delanie Walker and MyCole Pruitt through seven games, meaning he isn't likely to see any kind of consistent role this season.

Smith hauled in all three of his targets for 64 yards in Week 7 against the Chargers.

Delanie Walker (ankle) was forced from the game after playing only five snaps, opening the door for Smith to produce. He took advantage by hauling in long passes of 35 and 24 yards, accounting for the majority of his production. Walker has had a few ongoing injuries to his lower body this season, opening the door for Smith to handle more snaps. If Walker is unable to suit up in Week 8, Smith will draw a positive matchup against the Buccaneers.

Hill rushed two times for 21 yards, adding one reception for four yards and a touchdown in the Saints' 36-25 win over the Bears on Sunday.

Though Hill continues to see minimal usage, he still possesses some touchdown upside, evidenced by his four-yard score Sunday on a bubble screen he took to the house. It's best to view Hill as a deep, two-quarterback league option with the skill set of a receiver or running back. He doesn't need to be rostered in 12-team leagues, barring an injury to Teddy Bridgewater.

Goedert (undisclosed) had to leave Sunday's contest early, but promptly re-entered the game and finished with four receptions for 69 yards and a touchdown in a 37-10 loss to Dallas.

The Eagles' second dynamic tight end suffered an injury scare in the early going, but he only missed a few plays before coming back to post his best stat line of the season. Goedert led all Philadelphia receivers in receptions, yards and touchdowns for the first time in his career. The 24-year-old had been a non-factor early in the year, but he has been coming on strong with nine receptions, 117 yards and Sunday's touchdown over his last two contests. Zach Ertz remains the top tight end in this passing attack, but coach Doug Pederson may be trending toward more formations with two tight ends to aid a wide receiving corps that has taken a beating this season. It's too early to give Goedert a high fantasy floor so long as Ertz is healthy, so expectations should be kept in check heading into Sunday's road matchup against the Bills.

Ertz had two catches (five targets) for 38 yards in Sunday's 37-10 loss to Dallas.

Ertz -- and the Eagles' passing attack as a whole -- couldn't get into any sort of rhythm against the Cowboys' relentless defense. The star tight end set new season lows in receptions, yards and targets in one fell swoop. Outside of this dud, Ertz had been the model of consistency with averages of 5.5 receptions and 61.0 yards over his previous six contests. The recent emergence of fellow tight end Dallas Goedert (four receptions, 69 yards and a touchdown) could frustrate Ertz's fantasy owners, but Sunday's role reversal should be written off as an anomaly, as the latter is still the top dog heading into a matchup against the Bills on Sunday.
