Engram will be working with a new quarterback Sunday in Tampa Bay following the elevation of Daniel Jones to the starting job, Matt Lombardo and Ryan Dunleavy of the Newark Star-Ledger report.

Engram didn't exactly suffer with Eli Manning under center, taking advantage of an injury- and suspension-littered receiving corps en route to 17 catches (on 22 targets) for 164 yards and one touchdown. While Sterling Shepard (concussion) will be back in action and Saquon Barkley no doubt will be targeted by Jones, the Giants have already ruled out Cody Latimer (concussion), and fellow wide receiver Bennie Fowler (hamstring) is questionable. Expect Engram to linger among the top three options at Jones' disposal moving forward.

Seals-Jones is in line for an elevated role after the Browns placed Njoku (wrist) on injured reserve, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Seals-Jones was inactive in the regular-season opener and managed to play just three offensive snaps after Njoku's departure Monday. No matter, Seals-Jones possesses the best ability as a pass catcher among the remaining tight ends on the 53-man roster (also, Demetrius Harris and Pharaoh Brown). In 25 appearances with the Cardinals in 2017 and 2018, Seals-Jones averaged 11.8 YPC and scored four touchdowns on 46 targets.

The Browns have placed Njoku (wrist) on IR, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

With Njoku having suffered a broken wrist, the Browns will send the tight end to IR, meaning that he must miss at least eight games before a potential designated-to-return scenario can come into play. In his absence, the team's tight end corps will feature Demetrius Harris, Pharaoh Brown and Ricky Seals-Jones.

Higbee (chest) has been ruled out for Sunday's game in Cleveland.

Higbee suffered a lung injury during last week's win over the Saints. His absence frees up more snaps for timeshare partner Gerald Everett, though the Rams might also use four-wide formations with Josh Reynolds, or even give some snaps to No. 3 tight end Johnny Mundt. Either way, the offense figures to revolve around Todd Gurley, Brandin Cooks, Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods.

Graham (groin) was a limited practice participant Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.

Coach Matt LaFleur said Graham looked good at Friday's practice, noting the tight end should have "a seamless transition" heading into Sunday. It sounds like Graham will be able to play, but he was held without a catch on 51 offensive snaps while battling through the same groin injury last week. The Packers have a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Andrews (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Kansas City.

Andrews tended to a foot injury last week as well, but he proceeded to light up the Cardinals to the tune of eight catches (on nine targets) for 112 yards and one touchdown. His availability will be known for certain approximately 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff.

Goedert (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Lions.

Goedert was able to log a limited practice Friday, but EJ Smith of the Philadelphia Inquirer relays via coach Doug Pederson that the tight end profiles as a game-day call for Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET tilt. In any case, Goedert's fantasy value remains modest, so long as Zach Ertz (who has been targeted 23 times in two games to date) remains healthy and available.

Uzomah (foot) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Bills, Tyler Dragon of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Uzomah's clearance to play in Week 3 was foreshadowed by his full practice participation Thursday. Though he started this past Sunday's loss to the 49ers, Uzomah was not targeted while seeing action on 42 offensive snaps. The tight end did catch four of his five targets in Week 1 for 66 yards, but he's going to be a hit-or-miss fantasy option for as long as Tyler Eifert and Drew Sample are around to garner looks in the Bengals offense.

Kroft (left ankle) will not play this week against the Bengals, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Rapoport's source says the new injury -- Kroft is also recovering from a broken right foot -- is not long term in nature and he'll have a chance to make his Bills debut against the Patriots next week. But he'll miss an opportunity to play against his former team in Week 3, likely a bummer for the tight end after he's been working diligently to recover from the foot injury.

Graham (groin) went through drills at the start of Friday's practice, giving him a shot to play in Sunday's game against Denver, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Graham presumably will be listed as a limited participant, upgrading from DNP the previous two days. He played through the groin injury in last week's 21-16 win over Minnesota, finishing with just one target and no catches on 51 snaps. It sounds like he'll be listed as questionable when the final injury report comes out Friday afternoon. Marcedes Lewis, Robert Tonyan and Evan Baylis represent Green Bay's other options at tight end.
