  • Kevin Rader TE | NO

Kevin Rader: Heads back to practice squad

Rader reverted to the Titans' practice squad Monday.

Rader was able to get some additional snaps -- nine offensive and 13 on special teams -- when Josh Whyle was ruled out of Sunday's contest against the Bengals with an ankle injury. If Whyle is unable to go for Week 5 against the Colts, Rader would have a good chance of being elevated for the second time this season.

  • Titans' Chigoziem Okonkwo: Another three empty catches

Okonkwo recorded three catches (on three targets) for 29 yards in Sunday's 27-3 win over the Bengals.

Okonkwo has at least three receptions in each of his last three games, though he's managed to top 30 receiving yards only once in that span. The Titans offense will continue to run through Derrick Henry, and the passing attack will center around DeAndre Hopkins, which leaves limited production available for peripheral options such as Okonkwo.

  • Sean McKeon TE | IND

Sean McKeon: Back to practice squad

McKeon reverted to the Cowboys' practice squad Monday.

Mckeon played 18 of 70 offensive snaps Sunday against the Patriots while filling in for Peyton Hendershot (ankle). McKeon could return to the active roster in Week 5 against the 49ers if Hendershot is unable to suit up.

  • Pat Freiermuth TE | PIT

Steelers' Pat Freiermuth: Expected to miss multiple games

Freiermuth (hamstring) is expected to miss 2-to-3 weeks, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

After Freiermuth went down with a hamstring injury in Sunday's 30-6 loss to the Texans, the tight end appears likely to miss multiple contests. The Steelers are already without wide receiver Diontae Johnson (hamstring) until at least Week 7 while he's on injured reserve, so players like George Pickens and Calvin Austin could see a slight uptick in usage next week versus Baltimore. Rookie tight end Darnell Washington will have an opportunity to serve as the team's starter for the time being.

  • Giants' Daniel Bellinger: Night comes to early end

Bellinger (knee) has been ruled out for the remainder of Monday's contest with the Seahawks, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Bellinger suffered the knee injury on the Giants' first possession of the night and will finish the game with one catch for six yards. More information on his status may be provided after Monday's game.

  • Giants' Daniel Bellinger: Exits with knee injury

Bellinger suffered a knee injury and is questionable to return to Monday's contest with the Seahawks, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Bellinger went down with a knee injury in the first quarter, and his status now is uncertain for the remainder of the game. Lawrence Cager is the only tight end available behind starter Darren Waller for the time being.

  • Zaire Mitchell-Paden: Back to practice squad

Mitchell-Paden reverted to the Browns' practice squad Monday.

Mitchell-Paden was elevated up for Sunday's loss to Baltimore but ended up a healthy scratch. The 24-year-old will now wait for another opportunity to be called up for a game.

  • Tanner Hudson TE | CIN

Bengals' Tanner Hudson: Reverts to practice squad

Hudson reverted to Cincinnati's practice squad Monday.

Hudson caught both of his targets for 18 yards during the Bengals' loss to the Titans on Sunday while helping fill in for Irv Smith (hamstring). The 28-year-old led all Cincinnati tight ends in snaps and could get called up again for the Week 5 game against the Cardinals if Smith is forced to miss time.

  • Noah Togiai TE | PHI

Noah Togiai: Heading to Las Vegas

Togiai was signed to the Raiders' practice squad Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Togiai will head to Las Vegas after being let go by the Cardinals in August, joining the Raiders' practice unit. The tight end appeared in two games with the Eagles last season, playing 21 snaps between the offense and special teams.

  • Tyler Higbee TE | LAR

Rams' Tyler Higbee: Tending to thumb injury

Coach Sean McVay said Monday that Higbee "got his thumb banged up a little bit" during Sunday's overtime victory at Indianapolis, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.

After a week in which he tended to an Achilles injury and also signed a three-year extension, Higbee didn't look worse for wear Sunday, gathering in five of 11 targets for 64 yards and no touchdowns while playing 94 percent of the offensive snaps. It'll be interesting to see how the Rams list the tight end on their first Week 5 injury report Wednesday, but the aforementioned workload implies he's still good for his typical workload on game days.
