  • Hayden Hurst TE | LAC

Panthers' Hayden Hurst: Another quiet outing

Hurst caught one of three targets for seven yards in Sunday's 21-13 loss to the Vikings.

Hurst now has seen his receiving yards decrease each week since opening the season with five catches for 41 yards and a touchdown. That slide makes it hard to get excited over his stock heading into Week 5's game in Detroit.

  • Will Dissly TE | LAC

Seahawks' Will Dissly: Active in Week 4

Dissly (shoulder) is listed as active Monday against the Giants.

After sitting out Week 3 due to a shoulder injury, Dissly was able to manage back-to-back limited sessions to begin Week 4 prep before practicing in full Saturday. Still, he was listed as questionable for Monday's game along with Noah Fant (knee). Both players have been deemed available, and Dissly now will look to build upon his 5-52-0 receiving line on five targets through two appearances this season.

  • Noah Fant TE | NO

    Seahawks' Noah Fant: Available Monday

Fant (knee) is active for Monday's contest at the Giants.

Fant made a surprise appearance on the Seahawks' injury report Saturday as a non-participant due to a knee issue, which left him questionable for Week 4 action. Fellow tight end Will Dissly (shoulder) had the same designation, but both players will be available to Seattle's offense Monday. While Fant was blanked Week 1 against the Rams, he's hauled in eight of nine targets for 97 yards over the last two contests.

  • Will Mallory TE | IND

Colts' Will Mallory: Stuck on bench

Mallory was a healthy inactive for Sunday's loss to the Rams.

Mallory played 11 offensive snaps in Week 2 against the Texans when he caught two passes for 49 yards, but he's been inactive the last two games.

  • Mo Alie-Cox TE | IND

Colts' Mo Alie-Cox: Gets first TD of season

Alie-Cox had one reception for a 35-yard touchdown in Sunday's overtime loss to the Rams.

It was just Alie-Cox's second reception of the season as he's become a minor factor in the passing game. Although he and Drew Ogletree were the starters in a two-tight end set over Kylen Granson, Alie-Cox played on just 17 of the offense's 64 snaps and went out on four routes.

  • Kylen Granson TE | TEN

Colts' Kylen Granson: Just two receptions Sunday

Granson had two receptions for 24 yards on five targets in Sunday's overtime loss to the Rams.

Drew Ogletree and Mo Alie-Cox were the starters in a two-tight end set over Granson, but Granson played the most snaps on offense. Granson played 35 snaps, Ogletree had 28 snaps, and Alie-Cox played 17 snaps, but both Ogletree and Alie-Cox had touchdown receptions. The Colts again divided the work in the passing game among three tight ends. While Granson had the most snaps and ran the most routes, the division of targets makes Granson a tough option for most fantasy formats.

  • Colts' Drew Ogletree: Catches first career TD

Ogletree had three receptions for 48 yards, including a five-yard touchdown, on four targets in Sunday's overtime loss to the Rams.

Ogletree and Mo Alie-Cox were the starters in a two-tight end set over Kylen Granson, but Granson played the most snaps on offense. Granson played 35 snaps, Ogletree had 28 snaps, and Alie-Cox played 17 snaps, but both Ogletree and Alie-Cox had touchdown receptions. The Colts divide the work in the passing game among three tight ends, and, despite the touchdown, it's not likely Ogletree will earn a larger role.

  • Brycen Hopkins TE | LAR

Rams' Brycen Hopkins: Makes one catch

Hopkins caught his only target for five yards during Sunday's 29-23 overtime win against the Colts.

Through the first month of the season, Hopkins has only taken 41 snaps on offense and recorded catches in just two games. The Rams haven't been using many two-tight-end sets and Tyler Higbee has barely left the field despite playing through an Achilles injury during Sunday's contest, leaving Hopkins with little fantasy value unless Higbee ends up missing time.

  • Jelani Woods TE | NYJ

Colts' Jelani Woods: Won't be activated this week

Colts head coach Shane Steichen said Monday that Woods (hamstring) will remain on injured reserve this week, implying that the tight end won't be activated ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans, Nate Atkins of The Indianapolis Star reports.

After missing the requisite four games following his placement on IR on Aug. 30, Woods is first eligible to make his season debut this weekend. While it's unclear where exactly Woods stands in his recovery from the hamstring injury, Steichen's comments suggest that the 24-year-old isn't quite ready to practice. Whenever Woods gets the green light to practice, the Colts would then have a 21-day window to evaluate him for a potential return to the 53-man roster. While Woods remains on IR, the Colts will continue to lean on a three-man committee of Kylen Granson, Drew Ogletree and Mo Alie-Cox at tight end.

  • Steelers' Darnell Washington: Records first NFL catch

Washington secured his lone target for 10 yards during the Steelers' 30-6 loss to Houston on Sunday.

Washington dealt with a knee injury ahead of Sunday's Week 4 tilt, but he was able to suit up against the Texans and recorded a catch for the first time in his professional career. The rookie third-rounder drew praise during offseason activities but has had a minimal role in the passing game to begin the 2023 campaign. The Steelers' offense has struggled mightily to generate much production this year, but Washington could see a slight uptick in usage if Pat Freiermuth's upcoming imaging on his hamstring reveals an issue that will force him to miss time.
