  • Greg Dulcich TE | MIA

Broncos' Greg Dulcich: Shifts to IR

Dulcich (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.

This isn't exactly a surprising development, as it was reported earlier this week Dulcich would miss "several weeks" with a hamstring injury. The earliest the second-year tight end is eligible to return would be a Thursday night Week 6 battle against the Chiefs. Expect Adam Trautman to see the vast majority of the tight end snaps in the absence of the 23-year-old Dulcich.

  • Kylen Granson TE | TEN

Colts' Kylen Granson: Pop up on injury report

Granson was added to the Colts' injury report Saturday with a hamstring injury and is listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Texans.

Granson started in the Week 1 loss to the Jaguars, tallying four catches and six targets compared to a total of four targets combined for backups Mo Alie-Cox and Andrew Ogletree. If Granson is unable to play, Ogletree and Alie-Cox would likely split the workload, with the former perhaps seeing a few more pass-catching opportunities against a formidable Texans defense.

  • Colts' Andrew Ogletree: Set for Sunday

Ogletree was removed from concussion protocol Saturday and does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Texans.

Ogletree wasn't a huge offensive factor in Week 1, but he might take on a larger workload if Kylen Granson, who popped up on the injury report Saturday with a hamstring injury, is unable to play. If he sees action, Ogletree will be making his second appearance in the NFL on Sunday after missing the entire 2022 season due to a torn ACL.

  • Greg Dulcich TE | MIA

Broncos' Greg Dulcich: Officially ruled out

Dulcich (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Dulcich's absence this weekend comes as little surprise, given that Jeff Legwold of ESPN.com previously reported that the tight end was expected to miss several weeks with the injury he picked up in the Broncos' season-opening loss to the Raiders. As long as Dulcich is sidelined, Adam Trautman should operate as the Broncos' clear top tight end and potentially see added involvement in Denver's passing offense.

  • Pat Freiermuth TE | PIT

Steelers' Pat Freiermuth: Upgraded to full practice Friday

Freiermuth (chest) was a full participant in Friday's practice.

Freiermuth was a limited participant in the Steelers' first Week 2 practice Thursday, but his upgrade to full activity Friday should clear the way for him to play in Monday's game against the Browns. The third-year tight end missed some time during the Steelers' season-opening loss to the 49ers but still came through for fantasy managers with a three-yard touchdown reception on four targets over his 31 snaps.

  • Saints' Juwan Johnson: Returns to full participation

Johnson (calf) was a full practice participant Friday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Johnson is set to play Monday night against Carolina, after catching three of five targets for 36 yards in a 16-15 win over the Titans last week. He finished the game with 75 percent snap share and 81 percent route share, unimpacted by the presence of offseason additions Foster Moreau and Jimmy Graham (12 combined routes, no targets).

  • Colts' Andrew Ogletree: Questionable for Week 2

Ogletree (concussion) is listed as questionable for Sunday's Week 2 game against the Texans, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports.

Ogletree was DNP Wednesday, limited Thursday, and then upgraded to full Friday. He just needs to clear the concussion protocol. Ogletree played 21 percent of the offensive snaps in Week 1's loss to the Jaguars. Kylen Granson was in on a position-best 61 percent of the downs and turned six targets into a scoreless 4-39-0 effort.

  • Travis Kelce TE | KC

Chiefs' Travis Kelce: Questionable, but expected to play

Kelce (knee) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars after practicing in a limited fashion this week.

Kelce is working his way back from a bone bruise in his right knee, an injury he sustained in a Sept. 5 practice before he ultimately sat out the Chiefs' season-opening loss to the Lions. Though Kelce wasn't able to turn in a full practice during Week 2 prep, head coach Andy Reid told Tom Pelissero of NFL Network earlier Friday that the standout tight end is expected to play this weekend. Fantasy managers should thus feel comfortable inserting Kelce into Week 2 lineups, even though his availability won't be officially confirmed until the Chiefs release their inactive list approximately 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Mark Andrews TE | BAL

Ravens' Mark Andrews: Gets Week 2 questionable tag

Andrews (quadricep) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals.

For the second game in a row, Andrews will take a questionable designation into the weekend, but he should have a better chance at being available this Sunday after he was ultimately inactive for the Ravens' Week 1 win over the Texans. After logging a trio of limited practices a week ago before sitting out against Houston, Andrews remained limited Wednesday and Thursday before upgrading to full activity Friday. Assuming Andrews' quad injury responded well to Friday's session, he should be able to assume his usual duties as the Ravens' starting tight end Sunday in what would be his season debut. Official confirmation on Andrews' status one way or the other will arrive when Baltimore releases its inactive list approximately 90 minutes before Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

  • Darren Waller TE | MIA

Giants' Darren Waller: Cleared from injury report

Waller (hamstring/rest) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game at Arizona, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.

Things were trending in this direction after Waller made it through Week 1 without aggravating the hamstring and had 'rest' added to his Week 2 injury report. He caught three passes for 36 yards in the first half of a 40-0 loss to the Cowboys last week but then barely played after halftime. Waller did play 89 percent of snaps in the first half, most among New York's skill-position players, with the offense centering on him and RB Saquon Barkley until things got out of hand. A matchup with the lowly Cardinals should provide those two and the rest of the offense with better opportunities to score fantasy points, even if standout left tackle Andrew Thomas (questionable - hamstring) doesn't end up playing.
