  • A.J. Brown WR | PHI

    Eagles' A.J. Brown: Practicing Wednesday

Brown (knee) will practice Wednesday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Brown received good news from an MRI after missing the second half of a 28-23 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Monday that the wideout is considered day-to-day, and Brown's practice participation Wednesday confirms that his injury is a minor concern. Even a limited session Wednesday would put Brown on the right track to play this Sunday at Dallas.

  • Chiefs' JuJu Smith-Schuster: Not practicing Wednesday

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that Smith-Schuster (hamstring) won't practice Wednesday, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.

Smith-Schuster has missed two games and hasn't practiced in any fashion since being forced out of the Chiefs' Week 7 with over the 49ers on Oct. 20 after aggravating a right hamstring injury. The wideout was a popular waiver-wire pickup after turning in a 7-130-0 receiving line on eight targets in a Week 5 win over the Saints, but his opportunities to build on the big game have been stymied by the injury. Even if Smith-Schuster is able to demonstrate enough progress this week to suit up Sunday against the Broncos, he'll likely find himself as more of a secondary option in the passing game with the Chiefs having since acquired DeAndre Hopkins from the Titans to complement tight end Travis Kelce.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Another Wednesday absence

Pittman didn't practice Wednesday due to back and finger injuries, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Wednesday absences have been the norm for Pittman since Week 6, but the wideout has managed to suit up for all nine of the Colts' games to date. That said, head coach Shane Steichen acknowledged Wednesday that the team is taking it week by week with regard to determining Pittman's workload in practice, per Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis. In this past Sunday's loss to the Vikings, Pittman played 76 percent of the snaps on offense, but he finished with just one catch for 14 yards on four targets. He's been held to three receptions or fewer in four straight outings and in five of his nine appearances on the season.

  • Nico Collins WR | HOU

Texans' Nico Collins: Not practicing Wednesday

Collins (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Collins, who was placed on injured reserve Oct.9, has missed four straight games and is thus eligible to return to practice as soon as this week. Per Wilson, Collins hasn't experienced any setbacks with his hamstring injury, with the wideout having reportedly regained his speed and mobility in the process. However, Collins' continued absence from practice casts doubt on his avaiability for Sunday's game against the Lions.

  • Giants' Bryce Ford-Wheaton: Won't practice Wednesday

Ford-Wheaton (Achilles) did not participate at practice Wednesday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Ford-Wheaton tried to play through his Achilles issue in Week 8 but was unable to finish the game, and then he sat out entirely in Week 9. Now his status for Week 10 is in jeopardy, and he'll likely need to practice to some extent Thursday or Friday to have any chance to play Sunday.

  • Ben Skowronek WR | PIT

Steelers' Ben Skowronek: Makes return to practice

Skowronek (shoulder) participated at practice Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.

Skowronek has been on Pittsburgh's injured reserve list since he was signed due to a shoulder issue, but it now appears he could be approaching a return to the field. The Steelers have 21 days to activate him to their active roster before they'd have to keep him on IR for the rest of the season.

  • Darius Slayton WR | NYG

Giants' Darius Slayton: Not practicing Wednesday

Giants head coach said that Slayton (concussion) won't practice Wednesday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Slayton's absence from practice suggests he hasn't made much progress yet in his recovery from the concussion he sustained during this past Sunday's 27-22 loss to the Commanders. Daboll noted that the receiver may not make the trip to Munich in advance of Sunday's game against the Panthers, but further clarity on Slayton's status for Week 10 should arrive when the Giants' traveling party leaves for Germany on Thursday night.

  • Mike Strachan WR | WAS

    Mike Strachan: Gets let go

Strachan was cut from the Commanders' practice squad Wednesday.

Strachan failed to make the Colts' 53-man roster out of training camp and ultimately linked up with Washington in October. In a corresponding move, the Commanders signed Efe Obada to their practice squad.

  • Brandin Cooks WR | BUF

Cowboys' Brandin Cooks: Not cleared to practice Wednesday

Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy said that Cooks (knee) is progressing, but the receiver won't practice Wednesday, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Dallas has yet to open the 21-day evaluation window for Cooks, who was placed on injured reserve Oct. 5 due to an infection in his right knee that required a procedure. Though Cooks has missed the required four games while on IR, his absence from practice to begin Week 10 prep suggests that he's likely to remain out for Sunday's game against the Eagles.

  • Amari Cooper WR | LV

Bills' Amari Cooper: In line to practice Wednesday

Cooper (wrist) is slated to practice Wednesday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.

Cooper was inactive for this past Sunday's win over the Dolphins, but the wideout's looming participation in practice Wednesday is a positive sign regarding his status for this weekend's game against the Colts. Meanwhile, fellow wideout Keon Coleman is also dealing with a wrist injury and could miss some time. He's in line to sit out Wednesday's session.
