  • Jalen Virgil WR | BUF

Bills' Jalen Virgil: Elevated for Week 9

The Bills elevated Virgil from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Virgil was elevated for Week 8 against the Seahawks, during which he played 21 snaps (11 on offense, 10 on special teams). Virgil could see some additional playing time on offense Sunday against the Dolphins if one or both of Amari Cooper (wrist) and Curtis Samuel (pectoral) is unable to play.

  • Adam Thielen WR | PIT

Panthers' Adam Thielen: Not returning Sunday

Thielen (hamstring) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game versus the Saints, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.

Considering he put together an LP-LP-DNP practice regimen this week, Thielen appears to have been testing out his right hamstring to see if a return to action was possible Sunday. His subsequent listing of doubtful indicated it wasn't, and Carolina has confirmed as much before game day. Thielen thus will turn his focus to Sunday, Nov. 10 against the Giants as his next possible chance to suit up for the first time since Week 3.

  • Bryce Oliver WR | TEN

Titans' Bryce Oliver: Added to Titans' active roster

The Titans signed Oliver from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Oliver was signed by Tennessee in May as an undrafted free agent, and although he didn't make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp, he opted to stick around on the practice squad. Oliver could see some snaps against the Patriots on Sunday if Tyler Boyd (shoulder) is unable to play.

  • Elijah Cooks WR | NO

Jaguars' Elijah Cooks: Elevated for Week 9

Jacksonville elevated Cooks from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Cooks is in line to make his regular-season debut Sunday after spending half of the campaign on the practice squad. Cooks and Austin Trammell could see snaps on offensive against the Eagles on Sunday if Brian Thomas (chest) and/or Gabe Davis (shoulder) are unable to play. Cooks appeared in nine regular-season games for the Jaguars in 2023 and finished with three catches (on four targets) for 38 yards.

  • Jaguars' Austin Trammell: Elevated from practice squad

The Jaguars elevated Trammell from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Trammell was unable to make the Jaguars' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but he opted to stick around on the practice squad. He could see some meaningful snaps on offense against the Eagles on Sunday if one or both of Brian Thomas (chest) and Gabe Davis (shoulder) is unable to play.

  • Buccaneers' Jalen McMillan: Questionable with hamstring issue

McMillan (hamstring) was limited at Saturday's practice and subsequently was listed as questionable for Monday's contest at Kansas City, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.

McMillan was a late addition to the Buccaneers' Week 9 injury report, indicating that he may have sustained the hamstring issue during Saturday's session. His status won't be confirmed until about 90 minutes before Monday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff -- along with fellow WR Sterling Shepard (hamstring) -- but with both Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (IR, knee) sidelined, McMillan would have a chance for an elevated snap share, assuming he's active.

  • Bub Means WR | NO

Saints' Bub Means: Heads to injured reserve

The Saints placed Means (ankle) on injured reserve Saturday.

Getting diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain typically equates to a multi-game absence, and the Saints have made it official for Means, ruling him out for the next four contests. He'll be first eligible to return Sunday, Dec. 8 at the Giants, but for the time being he'll join fellow WR Rashid Shaheed (knee) on injured reserve.

  • Jaguars' Christian Kirk: Moves to injured reserve

The Jaguars placed Kirk (collarbone) on injured reserve Saturday.

Kirk already has been ruled out for the season following the broken left collarbone that he suffered last Sunday against the Packers, so this transaction is merely a procedural move. He'll join fellow WRs Devin Duvernay (lower body) and David White (knee) on IR, while Brian Thomas (chest) and Gabe Davis (shoulder) are questionable for Sunday's game at Philadelphia, and Parker Washington, Tim Jones and practice-squad elevations Elijah Cooks and Austin Trammell are the healthy options at the position for Week 9.

  • Jalen Reagor WR | LAC

Chargers' Jalen Reagor: Elevated for Week 9

The Chargers elevated Reagor from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Reagor will give the Bolts some additional depth at wide receiver for Sunday's game against the Browns. It's the third and final time he can be elevated from the practice squad, meaning he'll have to be signed to the active roster if the Chargers wish to continue playing him. Across his two regular-season outings, Reagor has caught all three of his targets for 76 yards.

  • Brenden Rice WR | GB

Chargers' Brenden Rice: Placed on IR with shoulder injury

The Chargers placed Rice (shoulder) on injured reserve Saturday.

Rice was already ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Browns, but he will now be forced to sit for at least the next four regular-season contests. The earliest Rice can return from IR is Week 13 against the Falcons on Sunday, Dec. 1.
