  • Brenden Rice WR | GB

Chargers' Brenden Rice: Placed on IR with shoulder injury

The Chargers placed Rice (shoulder) on injured reserve Saturday.

Rice was already ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Browns, but he will now be forced to sit for at least the next four regular-season contests. The earliest Rice can return from IR is Week 13 against the Falcons on Sunday, Dec. 1.

  • DJ Chark WR | ATL

Chargers' DJ Chark: Back on active roster

The Chargers activated Chark (groin) from injured reserve Saturday, but he remains questionable for Sunday's game at Cleveland.

Chark is closing in on his season debut, and considering he capped Week 9 prep with back-to-back full practices, he may be able to make an instant impact in the Chargers' receiving corps, assuming he's made active about 90 minutes before Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. If that comes to pass, Chark will have to contend with rookie Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston, Joshua Palmer and Simi Fehoko for snaps and targets.

  • Buccaneers' Sterling Shepard: Questionable for Week 9

Shepard (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Monday's game in Kansas City.

After sitting out practice Thursday and Friday due to a hamstring concern, Shepard was able to return on a limited basis Saturday, giving himself a chance to be available for Week 9 action. Fellow WR Jalen McMillan showed up on the Buccaneers' injury report Saturday as limited due to a hamstring issue, so Monday's list of inactives will be key as to who may contribute in the passing game in the wake of Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (ankle) being sidelined.

  • Kendric Pryor WR | CIN

Bengals' Kendric Pryor: Joins active roster

Cincinnati elevated Pryor from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Pryor was unable to make the Bengals' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but the 26-year-old wide receiver opted to stick around on the practice squad. He'll give the Bengals depth at wide receiver and could make his NFL regular-season debut Sunday against the Raiders if Tee Higgins (quadriceps) and/or Charlie Jones (groin) are ruled out.

  • River Cracraft WR | WAS

Dolphins' River Cracraft: Won't be activated off IR

Cracraft (shoulder) will not be activated off injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against Buffalo, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Cracraft began the regular season on injured reserve due to a shoulder injury he sustained during training camp in August. His 21-day practice window opened Wednesday, but seeing as he was a limited participant all week, the Dolphins will take the cautious route and keep the 30-year-old wideout on IR for at least another week. Cracraft's next chance at suiting up will be Week 10 against the Rams on Monday, Nov. 11.

  • Chiefs' JuJu Smith-Schuster: Ruled out for Week 9

Smith-Schuster (hamstring) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Buccaneers, Nate Taylor of The Athletic reports.

Smith-Schuster thus will miss a second consecutive contest due to a hamstring injury. Aside from a 7-130-0 performance on eight targets Week 5 agains the Saints, he's been targeted just four times in his other five appearances this season. Whenever he's healthy enough to return to action, Smith-Schuster will have to vie with DeAndre Hopkins, Xavier Worthy, Justin Watson and Mecole Hardman for work in the Chiefs' receiving corps.

  • Chiefs' JuJu Smith-Schuster: Not seen at practice

Smith-Schuster (hamstring) wasn't spotted during the initial portion of Saturday's practice, Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com reports.

Smith-Schuster -- who was inactive in Week 8 -- logged back-to-back absences from practice Thursday and Friday, and his apparent absence Saturday clouds his status for Monday night's game against the Buccaneers. If Smith-Schuster is sidelined again, Xavier Worthy, DeAndre Hopkins and Justin Watson would be on track lead the Chiefs' Week 9 WR corps, with Hopkins a candidate to be more involved in the game plan in his second game with Kansas City since arriving through a trade with Tennessee.

  • Buccaneers' Sterling Shepard: Present for Saturday's practice

Shepard (hamstring) was present for practice Saturday,Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Shepard logged absences from practice Thursday and Friday, but his presence at Saturday's session offers hope that the wideout will be available Monday night against the Chiefs. Unless he's deemed a full participant Saturday, however, Shepard will presumably carry an injury designation ahead of Week 9 action.

  • Derius Davis WR | LAC

Chargers' Derius Davis: Set to return Week 9

Davis (hamstring) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's battle against the Browns.

Davis missed Weeks 7 and 8 due to a hamstring issue, but he was able to log an LP/LP/FP progression during practice this week. That will set him up to return to action Sunday versus Cleveland. Davis has just one catch on two targets for eight yards through five games this season, so his biggest impact could be on special teams, as he returns both kickoffs and punts for Los Angeles.

  • Ramel Keyton WR | TEN

Raiders' Ramel Keyton: Signed to active roster

Keyton was signed to the Raiders' active roster Friday.

Keyton will get another chance with the active roster after spending the first two weeks of the season as a healthy scratch before joining the practice squad in late September. The undrafted rookie will replace Tyreik McAllister as a depth option at wide receiver behind the likes of Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker in Week 9 against the Bengals.
