  • CeeDee Lamb WR | DAL

Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb: Expected to hold out

Lamb is not expected to report to training camp Wednesday with his Cowboys teammates, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Lamb and Dallas were unable to reach a contract extension during the offseason. The star pass catcher is entering the last year of a deal scheduled to earn him $17.99 million. This news does not come out of nowhere, as he also did not show up for June minicamp. While he is sidelined, Brandin Cooks will presumably handle No. 1 receiving duties, while Jalen Tolbert, Jalen Brooks and KaVontae Turpin also figure to see more reps to build a rapport with Dak Prescott.

  • Jalen Guyton WR | LV

Raiders' Jalen Guyton: Starting camp on PUP list

The Raiders placed Guyton (undisclosed) on the active/PUP list Tuesday.

Guyton is eligible to be activated off the PUP list at any time during training camp once he is healthy enough to return from his unspecified injury. After spending the the first five years of his career with the Chargers, Guyton signed a one-year contract with the Raiders in May. He played in just eight regular-season games last season due to a leg injury, finishing with just 10 catches on 21 targets for 89 yards and one touchdown. Once he returns, Guyton should see additional opportunities on offense as the fourth wide receiver behind Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker after the Raiders placed Michael Gallup on the Reserve/Retired list Tuesday.

  • Michael Gallup WR | WAS

Raiders' Michael Gallup: Set to retire

Gallup is slated to retire, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

This is a surprising move, as Gallup agreed to a one-year, $3 million deal with the Raiders during the offseason and was projected fourth on the wide receiver depth chart. After a promising start to his career in Dallas, he failed to replicate those numbers in recent years and was looking for a fresh start in Las Vegas. His career now looks to be coming to an end prior to his seventh season.

  • Colton Dowell WR | PIT

Titans' Colton Dowell: Opens camp on PUP

The Titans placed Dowell (knee) on the active/PUP list Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Dowell was placed on the Titans' injured reserve list in January after rupturing the ACL and meniscus in his right knee in Week 17, so it's no surprise that he will begin training camp on the PUP list. The 2023 seventh-round pick out of UT Martin played in 10 regular-season games in his rookie season, registering one catch for three yards as well as three tackles across 139 special teams snaps.

  • Tyler Harrell WR | NYJ

Jets' Tyler Harrell: Taken off NFI list

Harrell (undisclosed) was activated off the Jets' active/non-football injury list Tuesday, Aaron WIlson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Harrell passed his physical Tuesday and is now set to return to practice for New York. Though the rookie undrafted free agent is a long shot to make the team's final roster, he will likely be competing for a spot on the practice squad.

  • Jaxon Janke WR | HOU

    Jaxon Janke: Waived off IR

The Texans waived Janke (undisclosed) off injured reserve Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Janke is headed to waivers after having signed with Houston as an undrafted free agent back in April. The 24-year-old will now look to get healthy and catch on with another team.

  • Kyric McGowan WR | MIA

Dolphins' Kyric McGowan: Signs with Dolphins

McGowan and the Dolphins agreed on a contract Tuesday.

McGowan was let go by the Jaguars in late June, but he has now found his next opportunity with Miami. The wide receiver last appeared in a regular-season NFL contest in 2022, failing to log any offensive stats while playing in two game with the Commanders. In all likelihood, McGowan will be battling with the likes of Anthony Schwartz and Je'Quan Burton for a practice squad spot with the Dolphins in 2024.

  • Dolphins' Tahj Washington: Lands on IR

The Dolphins placed Washington (undisclosed) on the reserve/injured list Tuesday.

Washington will now be forced to miss the entire 2024 season due to his unspecified injury, unless he is waived with an injury settlement. He was selected by Miami in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 241st overall. In his final season at USC, he tallied 59 catches for 1,062 yards and eight touchdowns.

  • Jalen Coker WR | CAR

Panthers' Jalen Coker: Activated off PUP list

The Panthers activated Coker (undisclosed) off the active/PUP list Tuesday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.

Coker signed with Carolina as an undrafted free agent out of Holy Cross in April after leading the FCS with 15 receiving touchdowns in 2023. Coker will be ready for the start of Panthers training camp Wednesday, and he'll compete for a spot on the end of the wide receiver depth chart.

  • Chris Olave WR | NO

Saints' Chris Olave: To practice Wednesday

Coach Dennis Allen said Tuesday that Olave (shoulder), who was placed on the active/non-football injury list last week, will practice in part Wednesday, Matthew Paras of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Olave looks set to come off the NFI list Wednesday, so it looks like he's nearly recovered from the shoulder injury that forced him to wear a non-contact jersey earlier this spring. The Saints are likely taking a cautious approach to the third-year wideout's recovery, given his status as a lynchpin of the receiving game. Meanwhile, Alvin Kamara reported to training camp Tuesday and is also expected to practice Wednesday, despite reportedly being disgruntled by his lack of a long-term deal with New Orleans.
