  • Josh Reynolds WR | NYJ

Lions' Josh Reynolds: Limited by back injury

Reynolds was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a back injury.

Previously, Reynolds tended to ankle and knee issues this season, but neither health concern kept him from being able to play, as exemplified by him logging between 72 and 91 percent of the offensive snaps in the Lions' seven games to date. Even though he's now contending with a back injury, he still was able to mix into drills to kick off Week 9 prep, but his status nonetheless should be monitored ahead of Sunday's contest against the Packers.

  • Nico Collins WR | HOU

Texans' Nico Collins: Ruled out for Thursday

Collins (groin) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Brandin Cooks (wrist/not injury-related) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate and is listed as questionable for the contest. If Cooks joins Collins on the inactive list Thursday, Phillip Dorsett and Chris Moore would be in line to lead the Texans' wideout corps versus Philadelphia. Collins will aim for a potential return to action Week 10 against the Giants.

  • Texans' Brandin Cooks: Questionable for Thursday

Cooks (wrist) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Eagles.

The Texans listed Cooks as a full practice participant Monday and then a non-participant both Tuesday and Wednesday, though it seems the latter two sessions were merely walk-throughs during a short week. Cooks played through the same wrist injury and caught four of six targets for 73 yards in Sunday's 17-10 loss to Tennessee, and Texans head coach Lovie Smith suggested the wideout's absence from practice has mostly been for personal reasons rather than a product of the injury. After Cooks wasn't dealt ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline, he posted a Tweet on his personal account that seemed to suggest he's upset with the team, but it isn't clear if that represents any threat to his availability ahead of the 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff Thursday. Fellow Texans wideout Nico Collins (groin) has already been ruled out, while Phillip Dorsett, Chris Moore and Tyron Johnson are the other three receivers on the active roster.

  • Jamal Agnew WR | ATL

    Jaguars' Jamal Agnew: Limited Wednesday

Agnew (knee) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session.

Agnew has missed the last two games due to a knee injury and is still hampered by the injury after the Jaguars returned home following their matchup against the Broncos in London. It's not yet clear whether he'll be available for Jacksonville's Week 9 tilt against the Raiders.

  • Josh Palmer WR | BUF

Chargers' Joshua Palmer: Exits concussion protocol

Palmer cleared the NFL's concussion protocol Wednesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

Palmer was unable to play against the Seahawks in Week 7, but following the Chargers' Week 8 bye, he's trending toward a return to action Sunday against the Falcons. With Mike Williams sidelined by an ankle injury and Keenan Allen dealing with a lingering hamstring issue, it's plausible that Palmer and DeAndre Carter could lead the team's wideout corps this weekend.

  • Keenan Allen WR | IND

Chargers' Keenan Allen: Sitting out practice Wednesday

Allen (hamstring) won't practice Wednesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.

The Chargers were on bye Week 8, but head coach Brandon Staley acknowledged Wednesday that Allen's hamstring injury hasn't "responded the way that we hoped." With that in mind, the wideout's status for Sunday's game against the Falcons remains unclear, and with Mike Williams sidelined by an ankle injury, it's possible that Joshua Palmer -- who has cleared the NFL's concussion protocol -- and DeAndre Carter could lead the team's receiving corps this weekend.

  • Steven Sims WR | ARI

Steelers' Steven Sims: Likely in line for increased role

Sims will likely have more opportunities to pick up snaps out of the slot going forward after Chase Claypool was traded to the Bears on Tuesday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Sims drew a season-high three targets during Sunday's loss to the Eagles but managed minus-1 yard on two receptions while rushing twice for 21 yards. He's mainly returned kicks for the Steelers when available early in the season, but head coach Mike Tomlin said Wednesday that Sims should see additional work on offense after Claypool was traded. The Steelers have a Week 9 bye, so Sims will have an additional week to prepare for his new role in the team's offense. However, given that he's drawn just three targets over three games this season, it's unclear whether Sims will see enough volume in the passing game to be a fantasy-relevant player over the second half of the year.

  • DeVante Parker WR | PHI

Patriots' DeVante Parker: Misses practice Wednesday

Parker (knee) wasn't present for Wednesday's practice, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Parker suffered a sprained knee during this past Sunday's win over the Jets, so his absence from Wednesday's practice isn't surprising. Though Ian Rapoport of NFL Network previously reported that the wideout avoided a serious injury, Parker's status for this weekend's game against the Colts is cloudy. If he ends up sitting out the contest ahead of the Patriots' Week 10 bye, Tyquan Thornton, Kendrick Bourne and Nelson Agholor would be candidates to see added snaps alongside No. 1 wideout Jakobi Meyers.

  • Trent Taylor WR | SF

Bengals' Trent Taylor: Records first catch of season

Taylor recorded a five-yard reception in Monday's 32-13 loss to the Browns.

The 28-year-old has made his biggest impact for the Bengals this season as a punt returner, but he moved up a spot on the team's depth chart at receiver Week 8 while Ja'Marr Chase (hip) was sidelined. Taylor was still limited to playing seven snaps on offense, with his 14 percent share trailing all of Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd and Mike Thomas. Even if Taylor remains the Bengals' No. 4 wideout this Sunday against the Panthers with Chase still sidelined and Stanley Morgan (hamstring) at risk of missing another game, he won't be a high-priority target for quarterback Joe Burrow.

  • Allen Lazard WR | NYJ

Packers' Allen Lazard: Ready to practice

Lazard (shoulder) will return to practice Wednesday, Ryan Wood of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.

Lazard didn't practice at all last week and was ruled out Friday ahead of the Packers' Sunday night loss in Buffalo. He'll have a chance to make it back after just one missed game, and with a much better matchup to boot as the Packers head to Detroit for their Week 9 game. Lazard likely will be a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
