  • Giants' Sterling Shepard: Will undergo surgery Tuesday

Shepard will undergo surgery on his left ACL on Tuesday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.

The wideout was placed on IR at the end of September after suffering an ACL tear late in the team's Week 3 loss to Dallas. Shepard rehabbed for over a month before undergoing surgery, which is similar to what teammate Saquon Barkley did, per Stapleton. Shepard has suffered devastating injuries in back-to-back seasons and has missed at least five games in all but two of his first seven NFL campaigns.

  • Rashod Bateman WR | BAL

Ravens' Rashod Bateman: Not spotted at practice Tuesday

Bateman wasn't spotted during the portion of Tuesday's practice open to the media, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reprots.

The specifics of Bateman's absence are not yet clear, but it's a concerning development with the Ravens on a short week. The wideout returned to action in Week 7 following a two-game absence due to a foot injury and caught four of five targets for 42 yards -- all team highs. Bateman's availability for Thursday's game against the Buccaneers should become clearer when Baltimore releases its first official injury report of the week.

  • Skyy Moore WR | GB

Chiefs' Skyy Moore: Comes up empty

Moore didn't reel in his lone target during Sunday's 44-23 win versus San Francisco.

Moore also fumbled a punt, which was recovered by the 49ers, so it wasn't exactly a banner day for the rookie wideout. Moore also logged just 14 offensive snaps (22 percent), so he's likely nothing more than a stash for dynasty and deep leagues at this juncture. Mecole Hardman, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and JuJu Smith-Schuster rank ahead of him in the pecking order. Still, Moore could unlock a more prominent role if one of the group misses time, given his versatility to play both in the slot and out wide.

  • Andre Miller WR | GB

Andre Miller: Back with Big Blue

The Giants re-signed Miller to their practice squad Tuesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

Miller was set to miss the entire 2022 campaign after landing on IR due to a broken wrist, but he reached an injury settlement and was waived at the beginning of September. Now that he's healthy, he's rejoined the team's practice squad and will likely serve as an emergency depth option while the Giants are without rookie tight end Daniel Bellinger (eye).

  • Chris Conley WR | SF

Titans' Chris Conley: Joins Tennessee's active roster

Tennessee signed Conley to its active roster off Kansas City's practice squad Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Conley started the season on the Texans' practice squad and was elevated to the active roster for two games before being let go. He then joined Kansas City's practice squad at the beginning of October but was never added to the active roster. Conley will now join the Titans, who currently have two wideouts on IR and may be without Kyle Phillips (hamstring) for a second straight contest.

  • Tyron Johnson WR | DAL

Texans' Tyron Johnson: Signed by Houston

Houston signed Johnson to its active roster Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Johnson was recently released by the Raiders after bouncing back and forth between the team's practice squad and active roster. The undrafted wideout out of Oklahoma State caught 20 passes for 398 yards and three touchdowns across 12 appearances during his rookie campaign with the Chargers in 2020, but he's secured just two receptions for 16 yards over his past 12 NFL appearances -- split between Las Vegas and Jacksonville.

  • Greg Dortch WR | BUF

Cardinals' Greg Dortch: Despite TD, sparse usage continues

Dortch caught his only target for a five-yard touchdown and had one carry for one yard during the Cardinals' Week 6 win against the Saints.

Despite playing the third-most offensive snaps (35 of 66) among Arizona wide receivers behind DeAndre Hopkins (61) and Rondale Moore (59), Dortch was unable to take advantage in an offense that was missing Marquise Brown (foot) and top running back James Conner (ribs), among others. After compiling a 20-198-1 line on 23 targets in the first three games of the campaign, Dortch has been targeted just twice in four contests in the meantime. Now, even with Brown out of commission for the foreseeable future, Dortch appears to be an afterthought for quarterback Kyler Murray with Hopkins back from suspension and tight end Zach Ertz regularly involved in the passing game.

  • Patriots' Tyquan Thornton: Catches one pass Monday

Thornton was on the field for 44 of a possible 52 snaps on offense in Monday's loss to the Bears, catching one of five targets for 19 yards, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Though Nelson Agholor was back in the mix after missing a game due to a hamstring injury, he saw only three snaps as Thornton worked as the Patriots' No. 3 WR behind Jakobi Meyers and DeVante Parker. As the speedy rookie's two-TD effort in Week 6 suggests, Thornton has some playmaking upside, but in his current role he profiles as a hit-or-miss fantasy option.

  • Nelson Agholor WR | BAL

Patriots' Nelson Agholor: Logs three snaps Monday

Agholor logged three of a possible 52 snaps on offense in a 33-14 loss to the Bears on Monday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Though Agholor, who didn't record a catch on one target in the contest, was back in uniform following a one-game absence due to a hamstring injury, rookie Tyquan Thornton served as the Patriots' No. 3 wideout Monday. It remains to be seen if that arrangement will continue this Sunday against the Jets, with Agholor further removed from the hamstring issue that sidelined him in Week 6. Kendrick Bourne (toe) could also factor into the mix after missing the Week 7 loss to Chicago.

  • N'Keal Harry TE | SEA

Bears' N'Keal Harry: Hauls in pass in Chicago debut

Harry caught one pass for 14 yards in the Bears' 33-14 win over the Patriots on Monday.

Harry was targeted once while playing 42 percent of the snaps against his former team. With three receivers ahead of him on the depth chart in a low-volume offense, he'll need to move up the depth chart to have a chance at becoming a reliable fantasy option
